True. When you're young you think shit stuff is just really bad luck and random crap that happens ..when you get older you slowly start to realize, that's not the case. Especially in these type of cases, the more you look n to , the more you realize that a huge part of t is actually organized kidnappings. There's an insatiable human slave ( sex) market out there in the world.
Well it isn't fair or unfair..it just is, Would be creepy if there were actual forces behind the scenes making sure you become a top athlete or something like in the sims games

Family had to pay $18,000 for access to the case files. That's after they sued. They also hired their own dog team which got hits at a nearby lake. Police refused to search the lake, saying their own dogs got no hits. I'm with the parents on this... things are starting to look suspicious.
@@Mr.FadedGlory Most municipalities charge a small fee for copies of incidents, like an auto collision, etc. They're typically $10-15 for a physical copy. I think they only charge that fee so everyone doesn't show up wanting a copy of an incident they were involved in. But $18k?! I'm with ya --- sounds like lawyer fees.
Wellllllll…..I see both sides. One, if the family isn’t getting anything hopeful from the police and their work, I can see how they would be willing to do anything and everything that they were able to, financially or not. However, from the detective’s perspective, if they don’t have any promising leads, anyone and everyone could potentially be the suspect who caused/helped her to go missing. Sadly family or loved ones are number one at being the culprit…even if we all agree that it is most likely not the case here… Still, they don’t have any good leads, clearly due to the lack of evidence. So UNLESS the day comes where actual, PHYSICAL evidence comes to light like DNA, the body, the murder weapon, etc. the police need to keep certain details to themselves. It breaks my heart that son many people turn against the investigators in times in which they simply have no idea how to differentiate and determine whether the investors are incompetent, or more sinisterly covering something up, or just trying to protect details that only the actual person(s) involved in the victims disappearance/murder would know, which would be absolutely VITAL in order to execute a conviction………
As a cadaver k-9 handler this upsets me that knowing a dog made a hit on the water, divers weren’t put in the water? Did anyone drag the lake? The dog tracked back to her apartment. Was a grid search done within that mile? So many questions
The amount of data it would take to record in HD quality 24 hours a day 7 days a week would be insurmountable. I've wondered this myself but I guess it's a question of storage and space.
Well that seems to always be the case :D They have surveillance but it is such a low quality, that nobody can really use it for much :) :) :) Such a weird place to save a little bit of money.
I used to deliver pizza, and I remember going up to a house. The lady was very nice and with the tip there was a card. It was the cards with her face on it that were shown in the video. They also had a blown up photo of it in the window facing the streets. Turns out it was her parents. Small world. This was about 5 years ago so, even 10 years later they aren't giving up.
Nah, footage straight out of the 2000's. I guess you're too young to remember what that was like but not so long ago 144p potato quality was the _peak_ of quality.

@Pappy Chulo that's illegal and what they were doing tickets do not work that way. You have to go to the court and do the paperwork for it that didn't happen. That guy is definitely guilty
I’m going with old acquaintance who wanted relationship, who was late for work, said he got a ticket which could not be proven, and who said next day that she “was probably eaten by now.”
This is the first I heard of this case. When I saw video of the guy who dropped off her car, I recognized the shoes and overalls he's wearing as a painter. My husband worked construction for years and all these guys wear the same stuff. His shoes were a big giveaway for me too. They are the kind you wear at a construction site. I know Mike mentioned the condo complex was being worked on. I think this was a worker. But I immediately know those boots and overalls as a painter. The overalls they wear go really low down the back. It's not like farmer-type overalls. They are cut for more arm movement. I am willing to bet Vegas money it was a painter.
Hey I just noticed that after I read your comment. I'd definitely try to contact them to have that checked out. That definitely looks like a painter's outfit.
Also looks to me like their hair is in a bun. With estimated height at 5'3"-5'5", is it possible this is a woman? Possibly one of two people involved, the female possibly able to have Jennifer let her guard down for a male to then abduct her, then the woman gets rid of the car?
Maybe you should try to get in touch with her family. I mean they have phone numbers and websites plastered all over their vehicle, they clearly want people with any info or ideas to get in touch.
2 Suspects had just renovated her apartment the week before she went missing. PLEASE reach out to them if you can. I just came from a longer docu on her. They had their eyes on 2 (especially the 1) conatracters/workers for sometime. It can't hurt.
The comment made by the coworker about her being eaten by alligators - how can it be that that wasn't pursued any further? Certainly that coworker would have remained a person of interest in a case where there literally are no others.
I wonder what that coworkers height was. The FBI said the guy in the footage, his height was 5'3-5'5. The fact that he made that comment, just happened to be late for work that same day and was never required to submit proof of his ticket (doesn't seem like that'd be hard to check) is baffling..
@@Unibot47 Yes, it seems like they would verify that mysterious ticket alibi and then act accordingly. That said, the comment about the alligators, as repulsive as it is, is the sort of thing that I can easily imagine a lot of wannabe jokesters saying in an attempt at dark humor. Even more so considering he was rejected.
This case is so sad. I live in Bradenton,FL and have met her parents many times. They are very nice people. I feel so bad for them and the loss they have gone through. I wish they could get some closure. Prayers for them. 🙏

Sociopathy is not uncommon. I remember reading somewhere that around eight per cent of the US population have sociopathic personalities. Of course, it take more to commit horrible things, like murder and rape, but being a sociopath means that there will never be a confession or admission of guilt.
I can't imagine everyone sitting around, waiting to view the footage and getting that crappy image of a person walking in front of a gate with no possible way to identify said person. My heart would break.
Or could’ve picked the worst day to go in late and make up an excuse. But I’m guessing they followed up on him if this RU-vid video makes us think it was him.
I think the construction workers who harassed her are the most likely suspect(s). They had a white van parked next to where her car was supposed to be parked, I think they dragged her into it on the morning she went out to her car and then drove off somewhere, one of them taking her car. What they did to her I don't want to speculate on, but afterwards one of them were told to dropp off the car somewhere and then walk back. When the brother came to her apartment and tried to ask them if they've seen her they ignored him and almost became aggressive.

I’ve never heard of the family of a missing person having to sign a contract releasing the law enforcement from having to continue searching. Bizarre!!
This would also explain why the police dog walked from where the car was, all the way back to the apartment! It was tracing the scent of the man that left the car, and must have walked back to the apartment complex. If it was the construction workers, it makes perfect sense that if they took her into the white van that was parked next to her car at the complex, they wouldn’t want to leave her car there, leading investigators to focus solely on those around her apartment, like the construction workers! Not to mention the height of the guy, and what he’s wearing. 5’3 and 5’5, that’s really short for a male, it’s average height for Mexicans tho (not racist, Mexican family, they’re all super short lol) Too much points toward them. Also supports the multiple abductor theory, several of them could have taken her and done what they did. If this is true. There’s almost no hope of a solve on this one.
It had to be someone that knew her. Because if they would have gotten her into her vehicle how would they have done that? If somebody was trying to abduct her I'm sure she would have screamed and people would have seen it. She opened the door to them she knew them and we're familiar with them. Wouldn't doubt if it was a co-worker an ex or a friend of a friend
These disappearances hurt more than murders because you just don't know what happened to her or where she is. Just heartbreaking thinking about what the family and friends must have gone through.
Yes. Someone in my family was murdered and as horrific as it was for my family at least we know what happened. To constantly wonder if a loved one is still alive. I can't imagine what kind of terrible thoughts run through the families' mind.

Did he have the same haircut as the guy on camera, even though half his face is missing, u can still see he was a white man, with heterosexual hair-cut and style
"A traffic ticket he had gotten" made him late for work? Yet no officer had a moment with him...you would think that would of made them zoom in on the coworker
they did zoom in on him but no evidence is no evidence 😕 they eliminated him as a suspect. the cops will tell you though that it doesnt mean he didnt do it.
I was thinking the same thing. I should hope that they looked at him from the side and compared the back of his haircut to what's visible on the security footage..
Thank you Mike. You did a great job on telling her story . You have brought Jennifer back to the front to refresh everyone's mind. Maybe something new will be discovered. God speed , rest in peace. We think of you all the time. 💐

Scott M89 yeah I remember that one! That one is so sad and creeped me out. I’m rewatching that video right now and can’t watch the footage, it gave me the chills immediately. Camera footage of a suspect makes a case so real and as you say so frustrating for everyone involved.

I can never seem to shake this case either. Missing person cases are so horrible. Yes, that camera footage is just cruel. I can't imagine being an investigator or one of Jennifer's loved ones seeing that footage, so close, yet nothing.
I've watched a lot of your videos... This one really, really tugged on my heart. It's absolutely amazing how the POI was able to not be seen or ID'd in that surveillance video. My heart goes out the Kesse Family. God Bless You and Jennifer and Keep You 😔
You also need that storage capacity for high res cameras. If there wasn't a fence the camera quality would have been fine. It is really frustrating that the frame rate, the speed of the guy and the fence poles matched up. (The quality of the first camera footage was indeed trash)
When ya mentioned that she may have had a stalker... but that she had been out of town for the weekend, it made me think. So, she does have a stalker, she leaves for vacation, which probably stressed the stalker out. Then the stalker may have built up the courage and made the plans while she was gone. As soon as she gets back stalker is like, now or never, I’m finally going to do it. And then Monday morning the stalker does it.
I feel so sorry for her parents. I couldn’t imagine how frustrated they are. I have listen to so many podcasts about this case, I pray one day there will be justice for Jennifer.
I’ve followed this case since the podcast Unconcluded. Of all the missing person cases I’ve read about or watched, I can’t forget Jennifer. It’s so unfair that her family has to live with this, and that most importantly, that Jennifer’s life was interrupted, for lack of a better description. I pray there are answers at some point. Thanks for covering her case.
I've watched the majority of your videos by now. I love the format. You have a way of throwing in a bit of humor and light hearted jabs without disrespecting the seriousness of what you're covering. Saved these unsolved cases for last. Something about that lack of closure is so unnerving. A true nightmare.
rob burdack The police can’t keep investigating when they have zero evidence unfortunately. I feel terrible for her parents and bad for the police too. Must be horrible knowing you can’t solve something.
If she was still alive being held somewhere, I point to South America. Specifically Cuba, Mexico, Venezuela, Argentina, etc. It's unlikely she would be a simple prisoner, they would make her "work" for her life. Make it worth their while. Sick fucks.
Mike is only covering a fraction of these types of cases. It's overwhelming to think about how many of these missing persons there are in this country.

I wonder if they interviewed the maintenance at the apartments? This sounds a lot like another case where a woman disappeared and there were no leads for years until the cold case detective re-interviewed the maintenance guy. His story changed. He had access to her condo and while she vacationed and when she returned he abducted her. The case was solved and it was the maintenance guy.
Nancy Betters I worked next door to her at a pizza place when she went missing. All the west gate employees used to come in for lunch, one of our drivers that was there at the time is now in jail for another missing girl 🤔
Missing adult cases are always difficult because so many of them are "allowed" to disappear and cops don't always listen when family members are clearly telling them, "this is not normal." I know it's not possible for cops to jump on every single case that comes up, but they could at least do ALL of their due diligence when they take a case.
you young people, so silly. don't you pay attention? politicly there is a problem between the good guys and the cops. the supreme court has proclaimed that there is absolutely nothing that police have to do to "protect and or serve" us. they can just watch and then make a report, or not if they want.
I'm no fan of law enforcement officials, but if there's no leads, what should they do? Aren't a low % of crimes solved? If they worked on all of these unsolved cases with the fervor you guys want, we need to hire a lot more of them
Have they checked people in her building? The walls of her building? The building manager? The dog led them right there. Her stalker could have been in the building. Seems like the best starting point.
Police were too stupid and lazy to look for evidence in the empty buildings of the complex. The dumbass detectives first assigned to the case did not even take notes
It was definitely a construction worker because the sniffer dog led them right back from the car to the condo and sat down in the grass by the bushes behind her building. So the guy went back there to go to work after he got rid of the car. Shows me he’s done this before and thought it through. They should be looking at every construction worker with a criminal history of sexual assault and SHAKE THEM UPSIDE DOWN until they talk. there’s got to be some DNA in that car. So clearly by noon she was already dead or taken wherever she was going to be hidden. Why the cops are not still aggressively pursuing this case is so disturbing to me that I ended up leaving that area. Of course it’s all over so you can’t really escape it. What a sick world we live in right?
This is the case that has never left me...out of thousands of cases, Jennifer's case haunts me. Her parents are simply amazing. They have been handed such an injustice. Thank you for covering this case.
@451 _ You took the time out of your day to leave a sarcastic, childish comment. What a waste of time. You read through comments and make negative comments. Sounds fun!!!!
I have been following Jennifer's case since the very beginning....The men who were working on the condo's that Jennifer lived in had keys to all the condos so I think it is very likely that it was one of them and thats why there was no evidence of a struggle in her apartment....It was also said that many of the workers were undocumented workers and many of them left the area possibly the country after Jennifer's disappearance...
why do you mention them having keys as being likely the ones to be the abductors? if anything, it exonerates them because the abduction happened between the building and her being in the car (she had already left her condo).
@@MorganPhillipsPage , not sure where you got your information but nobody knows for sure when Jennifer went missing..She would always call her boyfriend in the mornings when she woke up and she did not that morning and her phone was turned off as her parents tried calling her as well...So to say she went missing while walking from her condo to her car is totally speculation. The only evidence we know for certain is there was clothes laid out on her bed and there was water in the shower and wet towels on the bathroom floor to show that she did shower that morning. What happened after is total speculation but the fact that alot of the workers disappeared after she went missing is a huge red flag to me also the cctv footage of the person that drove Jennifer's car to tge other apartment complex looks like a painter/ construction worker to me..He is dressed all in white..
@@danamaupin8318 she had prepared her work stuff for her meeting. didn't you hear that? besides lets break it down. either they took her before she left or after she left her condo, correct? only 2 possibilities there, so im sure we can agree on that. in the case of them having gone into her home (keep in mind, they could do this during the night therefore and this is an immediate argument killer because this would be the easiest and less risky way rather than wait for her to supposedly wake up and then enter), but lets say if they entered her home, then why got out of their way to relocate her car which was in no way related? if anything, it would only increase their chance of getting caught. but why would they, especially considering that nothing was taken at all. OR, she left her condo and was entering her car when this happened; instead of using their car which wouldve given away their identity, they use her car to carry on the method of transporting her. from there, they must now dump the car, as it is a dead give away if spotted near their property.
@@MorganPhillipsPage , I think they moved her car to buy them time to do what they wanted to do with her..The reason I think they came into her apartment is because her dad said she always carried pepper spray anytime she went anywhere. It's a shame that businesses and housing companies cheap out when it comes to quality security cameras. Either they get the shittiest possible camera with resolution that looks like it was shot on a potato or they don't care enough to upkeep a decent camera and then damage/record over/lose footage.
I have 3 wifi cameras in my apartment. 2 run at 720p and are battery powered and 1 runs at 1080p and is wired... all are 60fps and record in color. Cost me $80 when I bought them in 2015. Butttt this was in 2006 lol. That technology wasn't even available....
The problem is when you store that footage and the higher the resolution is the more storage space you need. The camera of the parking lot was not bad but the frame rate and the pole rate of the fence were sadly the same in that specific moment. The first camera footage shown was indeed trash you coudn't recognize anything.
Insurance companies should enforce or regulate standards for security cameras, prior to a crime , not afterwards only to realize they were useless the whole time providing a false sense of security.
I actually think they provide a real sense of security. Just their appearance alone I think prevents umpteen crimes happening on a daily basis. And it is all about priorities. They figured that the payback from restructuring their systems to expensively (both in money and storage) record high-resolution footage 24/7 in that residential complex would not be enough to justify it. Better to have low-quality footage all of the time than high-quality footage some of the time
Exactly....and that’s just one part of the evidence that points in that direction. The height of person in video/foreign worker, the weird vibes Jennifer got from them prior, the not speaking, but staring at and language barrier, them having access, the work van, them being present, etc., etc.
I lived in Orlando at the time of Jennifer’s disappearance. I remember in the field very near where she disappeared, there were men playing cricket regularly. Most of these men were all white outfits when they played. Just a thought...

When they were determining the height of the POI, it was discovered that the footage is also extremely discolored. It's possible he could have been wearing pretty much any color.
I think it is a maintenance worker from the condominium complex. He would have keys to the apartment, and maybe worked at the other complex he ditched the car @ at one time or another. Knew there was no cameras there Her body might still be in the complex. Especially if construction was going on. Gain entry. Assault/kill her, hide body on grounds, dump car, return to work, finish concealing the body. Mystery solved.
I would have liked to have seen pictures of some of the suspects, you can see the back of his head and he had a pretty distinct haircut. Such a tragic story. My heart goes out to her family. Good work keeping the story alive.
The haircut reminds me of something skinheads wear a variation of actual full shave it appears to be shaved near nape and some growth on top. And the clothing although discoloured is too matched to be layman clothing. It's a jumpsuit a maintenance worker, car mechanic or painter.
I replayed the part with the fence. It looks to me like the person is wearing a uniform. The kind painters, janitors wear. They are also wearing what looks to me like work boots.
Did the police even talk with the guy that said "She's probably eaten' by gators right now" Like who would even come up with that? Especially someone that you worked with.. Sounds a little fishy to me. And the fact that he lied about getting a ticket. Did he match the guy walking in that cctv? Like i feel like they just brushed off some possible leads that could've went deeper.
Someone that open about their opinion on something sensitive sounds a lot like typical morbid tearoom chat to me. He most likely did not mean it as said. That kind of comment in a workplace does not match the thoroughness and self-control of someone who would clean the inside of a car to the extent of leaving no DNA or fingerprint evidence. He probably had a macabre sense of humour in his banter, or maybe that was his way of processing the news of his ex-girlfriend being missing. You need more suspicion than that to raise eyebrows
@@TheJthom9 It wasn’t her ex. He was her boss, and hitting on her while married. He is not the person in the video. Completely different body type. He said “she’s probably been eaten by alligators by now” and the parents hired private canines to assist in the case and they hit on a lake that the police refused to search. Seems like a very probable place to look to me.
