An earthquake is the sudden movement ofa tectonic plates! Just another collection of out of context Lupin clips from the Part 2 english dub. Truly one of the greatest dubs of all time.
*_"Good gRaVy!"_* I know it would probably screw up the whole out of context joke but what were they doing floating in mid air? Flying on fumes seems about right!
1:41 “It’s *freakin’* careless, Lupin. How many times do we have to *freakin’* warn you? But, you had to go impress *freakin’* Fujiko, and isn’t that *freakin’* ironic, now?”
aster n. more like emo every day or Sword and shield water starter pokemon every day (i forgot it's name, because i'm not the fan of the series that much...bu apparently i like looking at something intresting, because why not, nevermind over)
At 2:26, when Lupin says "Why don't you roll me in the clover? Over." - for those that don't know that phrase, Lupin basically just invited Zenigata to f*** him I love this dub
@@ianfinrir8724 yeah, but after being called out on it, later episodes removed these kinds of references to make it more accurate to the 1970s timeframe
I make a little scenario with that part: Lupin: *Mask on* Now who's your daddy? Marie: (OC) You are papa. Now please take that off, it's freaking me out. Lupin: Don't worry sweetheart, nothing will happen. Marie: *whisper* Pst, Hey Goemon, if dad makes something really weird, please stop him. Goemon: Al right.
"The guy's possessed he could probably bench press shaq " confirms this has to be during o'neals dominant period. The anime looks 70s ish but the pop culture references makes it 2000s
8:23 it's the dub, which was on adult swim in 2003 adultswim.fandom.com/wiki/Lupin_the_Third_Part_II lupin.fandom.com/wiki/Lupin_the_Third_Part_II - 1977-1980. I liked that episode they couldn't air for copyright reasons, Lupin vs Superman. 6:40 lol I've been there at work nobody wants to listen. 9:56 lol ahnold I'll be back, yeah definitely dub took liberties like with Samurai Pizza cats lol
SnakeFriend he sounds like Christopher Walken lmao But, definitely try watching the dub. It’s even more ridiculous (in a good way) than the Japanese version and I didn’t think it would be possible. The accents are so bad, it’s good.
That feeling you get when you think you’re alone in a public bathroom and let it out, only to hear someone shifting and flushing the toilet in the stall next to you, and are obviously pretending they didn’t hear you.
@@susiestevenson7561 It would look that way if they kept the part where he asked Jigen to guess what he's thinking of and said F as a clue. Then Jigen says U before the fungus part.
Actually told Richard Epcar how much I love the "That basically means 'good friggin' luck,'" line in person. That's why the dub is just perfect. You get that great balance of wacky parody dub, all the while keeping the spirit of the series. And voice actors having way to damn much fun with what they get. I've seen the clandestine "Lupin III blooper" panel at a convention once. The stuff that didn't make it into the show is pure gold.
@@Taromochibun Him and his wife hosted a panel at a convention I was at, and they were like an old, happily married couple. And he's a really super great, friendly guy. Got him to autograph a picture of Jigen with Joeseph's "OH MY GOD!!!"
cant believe it cut before the best line lupin: yknow for a cop you’re pretty damn diabolical zenigata: *maniacal laughter* jigen: he i s evil. lupin: i don’t think he started out that way, i think we had something to do with it
The anatomy is surprisingly normal in that shot. Fujiko doesn't look like her spine os broken and goemon has legs. He still looks like an upside dpwn dorito but still
Not entirely sure. That character’s name is Marcel Delane, but the IMDb page doesn’t have him credited unless he’s one of the ‘additional voices’ in which case it’s probably either Bob Papenbrook or Michael Sorich
1:51 *_"It's the damnest damn thing I ever saw in my damn life!"_* 1:54: *(Whatever context this capsuled Lupin is.... Seriously, the heck was going on there. XD)*
@@adejny, Peculiar, Coming from a thief that despite his slim appearance isn't just smarts as he can tank rather inhumane punishment like huge explosives to the face several times and be just fine soon afterwards, One of which leveled a good chunk of building if memory serves... I have to revisit the series a lot more come to think of it.
@@BokanProductions I heard that. But I also read that they asked him anyway, just in case. Bless them. They KNEW he would say no, but they still tried. Cannot fault them. New guy is pretty good too. I just have nostalgia goggles.
About the scene in 8:03, Jigen: "Inshallah you two..... That basically means good freaking luck, pal." Inshallah is Arabic for "If God Willing", so Jigen's definition is actually kind of accurate surprisingly. XD
9:28 Is my favorite moment in this one. Apparently Zenigata has ventriloquism mastered. Can't wait to see more "Out of Context..but Mostly Zenigata Screeching". XD It really showcases this show's ability to entertain with crazy animation, unpredictable scenarios, and facial expressions.
I used to watch this on Adult Swim with my college roommate and we'd laugh our asses off at it. I forgot how hard we laughed at "Ah, yes, the old 'Exploding Bear Trap in the Ass' trick."
My entire knowledge of the series is basically Cagliostro and a few things I've read and I just want you all to know that when my cousin and I were watching the movie we were trying to guess Goemon's gender and we settled on female about three seconds before his first speaking line, which in the film, is almost COMEDICALLY deep
This show reminds me of the reason I love out of context humor so much because the characters do so much wacky shit naturally that you question it in-context so it becomes even better out of it.
