Exactly... I'll be honest, I hit a motorcyclist 30+ years ago and I remember it like it was yesterday. I thought I killed him, I called the hospital everyday pretending to be his sister so they would tell me if he was alive. Luckily the rider survived. I saw him 6 months after he got out of the hospital and he forgave me. A motorcycle accident is not something you just make up it's friking traumatic!!

I have a very unbiased opinion on influencers with very good argument points such as you and the Tates. But i do believe many people are scared of riding due to one little scare and/or just saying there dangerous off of pure assumption. So I do find it quite funny how after you mention something, he chooses to pose next to a 20k Ducati Diavel with a firearm.

I've dismounted the low side of my motorcycle a few times. I have no pictures. I've got a couple medical receipts though. I always just fix the thing and move on. Piles of parts on the wall of shame though.

I'm prepared to believe most people these days take photos of the aftermath, but back when I was in my "spend more time at ER than at home" phase of motorcycling, I would've had to have bought film for a camera and then got it developed - which was outside my budget :D

I've been in 3 motorcycle crashes and never took pictures 😂 I usually don't have my phone on me when riding because I've had multiple fly off mounts and out of my pocket

Your probably correct about Tate making up the crash or embellishing at the least, however I’ve been in several crashes. One of which I fractured both tibias. I crashed my 2008 vstrom 1000 3-4 times and road it till it couldn’t be ridden anymore, I’ve laid over my Vulcan 1500 twice in parking lots because I’m clumsy as hell. My Suzuki sv1000 hydroplaned and laid sideway down I95 riding home in a down pour with shit tires cause at that point in my life I didn’t value my life or anyone else’s. Anyways I don’t have a single photo of any of my accidents. Not one. Still have some of the bikes tho lol

I had a motorcycle accident due to a deer. Woke up in the hospital. Broke ankle, metal plates, and stolen bike while getting fixed. Guess what? I still ride.

I crashed my motorcycle in 2012, and not only do I have pics of the aftermath (me and the bike), I also rebuilt it and have pics of the rebuild, and I still have it and ride it to work almost every day.

A friend of mine had a bad crash (like this was way before I knew him) and he had photos of the bike, the car, the freeway it happened on. EVERYTHING! If it wasn’t from him it was from someone else. Like no one has an accident of any kind and NOT take photos.

My dad is the only person I know that rode a bike, and of the two incidents he had (or at least told me about), he didn't take pictures of them, my guess being he just didn't think about it at the time. First one, there was a big ass bump in the road due to construction, that knocked him up in the air and surprised him enough that his grip on the handles loosened to where the bike came out from under him and continued to slide forward for several feet. Second one, he took a turn a liiittle too hard and ended up sliding the bike on its side off into the grass shoulder. Dad doesn't ride the bike anymore in his old age, but when he did, he was always anal about bike safety and safety gear, which is why he was never seriously hurt in either instance.

I know someone who lost his leg in a motorcycle accident and he took full responsibility for what happened. Didn't try to blame it on anyone or anything. He doesn't ride anymore. He's a great guy, dad and grandfather.
