I heard what people says It's called safety positive cable which it's use separate cable for connecting an engine control like Fuel Pump & Alternator because it's safety reason to prevent caught on fire after an accident with airbags deployed.

I have the same problem, it seems to not work, and this happened after I docked the drum, but the cable is fine. Do you know the reason for not starting, knowing that I have a BM e66 size 750
OMG, I wish I had known this before my wife’s minor accident! The towing bill was $700. The car is totaled by insurance because of damage FROM the airbags deploying, plus the ridiculous towing bill. The car’s hood was slightly dented.
Just got in a fender bender in my E46 and now it wont start. Relays were knocked loose but they are back in. Starter has power and spins the engine so not the cable. Any thoughts?
Thank you very much. Very informative. What if the car (BMW F30) doesn't receive powers at all. Even if you connect a new battery inside the bonnet trying to jump-start it? Dash doesn't light up and all other lights. It just doesn't respond at all.
Question: i had a crash on my car (previously tuned), when that happens before insuranse take the car i take back the car to stock map, after doing this, the car doesn´t start and i have all bulbs on (pump, crash sensor, etc.) can i fix mi ECU?

Bit late but for anyone else asking this... When the car is crashed and the airbag deploys there is essentially an exploding fuse by the battery where he showed you in the video on the positive cable that disconnects the engine. You can reconnect the cable by taking it apart as he shows in the video or you can replace just the fuse part of the cable by taking it apart and swapping with a new one (buy from a breakers as BMW will charge a fortune).
What if in my car i can hear starter is working, but the engine cant start? Its loterry. In computer i saw error with immobiliser. I checked cables in EWS and Immobiliser, and everything looks good. Sometimes if engine works when i drive a car on destroyed road engine switch off for 1-2 seconds, and back. Somebody know what can i do in my car?
