William Storey also spent half of 2020 claiming he'd bid £45m to purchase my beloved football club, Sunderland AFC, with the backing of "one of the richest men in Singapore and one of the richest men in Ireland." He bumped into a club legend in a petrol station and tweeted saying that he was one of the financial backers, and ended up engineering a foothold in the local media as a potential saviour of both the club and the area. Needless to say, the club never actually acknowledge his bid as serious and he's finally gone quiet.

Reason: They thought putting their sponsor on the haas car would generate revenue, in which they would pay haas with,and then after that season ppl would keep buying it when they no longer pay haas but nobody bought rich energy so it failed.
