@coleman dustun That's only in the anime. In the games it's explicit that most Pokemon can't understand people, and none (or almost none) can speak people languages. Heck, Gardevoir being able to understand people is considered a very big deal in-game.

Timothy Rodowicz Normally they don’t have the ditto face when they transform. In the Anime they had an entire episode about a weird one that was just like you said, making the duplicate easy to spot. So all other Dittos should be able to make perfect physical duplicates of others.

@@israellai in the games the only reason that it doesn't keep the face is because they would literally need to make an extra sprite for every single Pokemon that is in the game. Which is just absurd to even consider bothering with. It's a legit thing that was mentioned in more than just an episode of the cartoon but since it's such a small thing that people never talked about no one remembers and so I'm sure as new employees are hired they also have no idea and so you get errors like that. Sure it's a neat idea to have a doppelganger type mystery to deal with, but it shouldn't be possible. You can always tell a ditto apart from a normal Pokemon, and as for them becoming human that shouldn't even be possible at all whatsoever. That would be like saying a Mew has human genes in it since it's the basis for all Pokemon and a ditto is just a failed Mewtwo..

I don't know what race you are, but pink is much more distinguashable on white skin than on black skin, so they'd actually have the harder time transforming into white people than black ones (is the term "black people" considered offensive in USA?
