#narcissisticabuse #narcissism If narcissists need constant attention and admiration, why do they hurt the people that are filling these needs for them? Why do they hurt the people they depend on? Narcissists cannot love. So let's get that out of the way. They get off on hurting others because it makes them feel powerful. That's pretty much the whole reason why it's called narcissistic supply

My ex narc left me after 5 years. 4 living together. But no explanation nothing. Found out he was emotionally cheating. Texting other women including ex gf ex wife. 🙄 He is now after 2 months back on a dating app looking for his poa. That's all he states he wants. He is horrible. It left me shattered and I'm in counseling right now. But this video answered alot to me. Thank you. 😊

When my counsler told me yrs ago that my mother did not love me, never had. I am #7 of #8 kids, #5 of #5 girls. I waa horrified & offended by his saying that to me. But, as my only child, my son who will be 24yrs thia summer, i thought back on mother"s comments she said to me, her twisted teasing along with the horirifying embarrassing me in front of people. As my son grew up, i began to realize and understand that no person would cruely emotionally treat a growing child, her own daughter, that way. I always knew she was off, but that she didnt love me, no way. Well, she doesnt, never have loved me or any of her kids. Well, the first child, her clone. She at #93 is so toxic. Worst than ever

You are a very clever lady and have helped me understand how someone is treating me.I am finding it difficult at the minute to accept that this person who I have always helped before myself is treating me badly. It really does hurt and it’s s hard to understand,especially when you do a good turn for them and they can actually use a good turn and turn it around onto you to try and make you feel stupid.

Wow! Very informative! This (at the end) reminds me of something on Quora where someone was asking if the narcissist wanted them to chase them after the narcissist discarded them. The answer was that the narcissist would get mad if they chased them but also if they didn't. Just like you said at the end, nothing you ever do will be right.

You perfect fully explained my ex-gf who i recently broke up with, all what she was doing was using me for my body, didn't care about my looks only cared if i gave them sexual needs and kept breaking up with me and then going back out again, it was a full-on loop but now i'm out of it, i feel much better, your video helped me so i can realise the signs of a narcisisst

This is a really good video that should have more views! You explain my mother's motivations or at least her thinking when dealing with me and I thank you for the clarity. She was a victim of child abuse. I think she does love me in her own way. But I'll never figure out that way for myself.

After she caused me serious injury , and I was dying with pain and had multiple medical appointments to deal with , I asked her if she can stay with me until I feel a little stable , that is to take time off from work . She acted like I was crazy to ask that and totally dismissed my request . If someone loves someone I think one should not even have to ask for that , I know if roles were reversed there would have been nothing I would not have done to help her get back on feet , esp if the injury was caused by my careless behavior . First she said she won’t get time off , yes she may have not , but at least she could have tried . She could have told her boss, who she was very close to, 0f what happened, that is, that she caused me this serious injury and if the supervisor had any any decency , most likely would have given her time off , and she did have plenty of vacation time accumulated over the years ! Then she gave another excuse , can’t leave her home alone as she has a 21 years old son there , etc etc . I never asked her again and gradually I realized she does not even have basic empathy to have anything to say over text or phone . I literally encountered an evil , it has been over a year I have heard from her , her last message was about who she was visiting , not about it I’m still alive , I did not respond to that , and to her that meant good riddance , as I have been fighting my health issues all alone with her having nothing to worry about !

It's been 11 yrs I have been living with one, I am going completely crazy ,I just can't pursue anything I like,he makes me feel guilty and reminds me of my past.I didn't even know he is a narcissist. I thought may be I was responsible for the wrong that happened to me. I am very worried,now that he has started mentally abusing our 10 yr old child .I am scared,and confused at the same time. When I was told by my friend to see a counselor, for I now have anxiety issues,he stopped me from going and convinced me that people say anything I shouldn't react infect I should not listen to everyone who tells u anything.. I feel stuck.

My friend is in the same position. Married to an abusive child. She takes anxiety meds. Pointless. You just leave and block and avoid them and the anxiety goes. You don't need a counsellor, just get away and save your child. There are shelters for abused women. Most counsellors don't understand this. They will talk about your problems. You need to take the reins now. Leave when he's out. They only get worse. No conversation wil help at all. No counseling can make it any clearer than these videos. Just leave, you will start to feel better after you get away, not before.
