In this episode I like to share with you the story about an exceptional manuscript called: The Chronicle of Michael the Great. It is accessible for all of us via hmml.org and because of its content, it even was even studied by NASA scientists.

Note: In this episode I talk at some point about climate change. I want to make it clear that climate change as we know it in this century on our planet, is caused by us humans. By polluting our ecosystem in many different ways, a severe change of climate is taking place with long term effects. The climate change that is talked about in this video (as a result of reading the Chronicle of Michael the Great) is caused by a natural phenomenon. It lasted for about 18 months (depending on the sources that are consulted this number might vary). In no way can this video be used to denial the existence of our current man-made climate disruption. I hope we humans do (and continue to do) everything we can to safeguard our planet for future generations .

Many ancient books from Ethiopia: have been sitting idle at the Vatican library and British museum. They carry a wealth of knowledge. The books aren’t translated into English though some are translated into Greek. Ethiopian scholars are hopeful and waiting for these books become available to read cause the ancient language hasn’t changed much. 🙏🙏🙏from Ethiopia

Hi Rezkalla Kas Barsoum, thank you for your kind words. I was introduced to this wonderful ancient Chronicle by Father Columba from the Hill Manuscript and Library Museum. Reading the English translation by Amir Harrak, opened a new world for me. I did not know anything about the Syriac community or its history. I'm also impressed by the writing style of Michael the Great. He clearly tries to be objective or neutral, when he wrote down what he witnessed. Even when he talks about the enemies of his community, he tries to talk in an emotional detached way. I'm impressed by this self-control and by his will to leave important (objective) information to future generations. The text is also very rich. It has spiritual, astronomical and historical components to it, that is seldom seen. While reading it, I came across what Michael the Great wrote about the crusaders and templars, so I made a new episode about it. I was lucky that Professor Hillenbrand, a world renowned expert on the Crusaders, was so kind to help me understand what Michael had to say about the Crusaders. The Sibiu manuscript written in the 16th centuries described with plans multi-state rockets, nearly 500 years before the moon landing. The dark cloud references remind me of the Arthurian legends of when the land of Camelot became sick and Lancelot set out to find the San Graal.

536 AD wasn't that the impact event in the Gulf of Carpentaria which caused fires and a Sun occultation lasting 18 months? I don't know what you understand about the alleged "Crusaders" but I tell you what I know, which is not the usual story of invaders. Crusaders is a code for retrograde comet Kreutz (Cross in English) - called Kroich in German chronicles. This monster comet flying at the speed of 900 km/s, fragmented continuously for that very reason: 3000 fragments are known today, each fragment is a comet in its own right. So you will not make me believe anything about Christians fighters in the Holy Land since it means "above our heads".

Here somewhat by accident. You may be interested in looking at the book/documentary 'Catastrophe' by David Keys. It is one of the more credible accounts of a ancient, worldwide climate disaster. Reviewers note that his claims are very wide in scope, and on occasion he appears to be trying too hard to get all data to fit his theory, but it has a coherence unusual in these 'sensationalist' laymen books that has stayed with me to this day. The documentary is available on youtube.

By the way...at 09:50 ...note on Crusaders and their perceptions and ideas about that part of world...Middle Age example of "bringing freedom and democracy" :/ No, I do not ignore the fact that some states have mildly speaking oppressive regimes, but the way "modern and advanced" world reacts to them was cynically described by Irwin Shaw in his novel "The young lions" where an American WWII volunteers feels disappointed because his commanding officer openly said that the reason for intervention in SE Asia was not democracy and human rights, but political influence and trade interests.

So, do scientists now believe, that the world is about 7500 years old, based on what Michael the Great wrote? "And the year 6673 of Adam" would strongly suggest that...

Hi Maciej Lewandowski, thank you for sharing your question. I don’t pretend that I have the answer, but I share with you what I learned. Human communities have often started to count time, based upon a person (a real person or legendary person) that was important to their community. That is why we had (and still have) different ways of counting time (different calendars) depending on a certain community. Therefore, as mentioned in this episode, Michael the Great at the beginning of book XVII writes: ... this is the year 1455 of the Greeks, which is the year 1125 of the year of our Lord, The year 524 of the Arabs, the year 83 of the Turks and the year 6673 of Adam... All these time indications are created by humans to indicate, when they decided that their community had started. The year 2021 is based upon the estimated time that Jesus from Nazareth was born. However if we look at the « memory » of our earth, meaning if we look at the many remains from the past (that can be skeletons of dinosaurs, or fossils of plants, or certain rock formations etc. ) then we learn that the earth is way older than us humans. So before we humans populated the earth, there was already other life on our planet. Our planet was evolving continuously and it is stil evolving. When we look at measurements from scientists (and I look at the once that are repeatedly confirmed by different measurements), then they estimate that the world is about 4,5 Billion years old. It is only about 40.000 years before the year that Jesus Christ was born, that a group of beings that we call now, Homo Sapiens (and that resemble closely to us humans today) became dominant on our planet. So, we humans only exist pretty recently on this planet. A philosopher of the past, called Epicurus (who lived in the 4th Century B.C) already states that... «there were species before us humans and there will be species after we are long gone... » An interesting thought for a man that could not do real measurements with modern tools, but only use his observations and reasoning. Later, a man called Lucretius wrote a lengthy poem about it. If you like to know more about this, here is a link to another Bold Books and Bones (BBX) episode who talks about this book and how this book had been lost for a very long time. I think from what I read from reliable sources, that most calendars are defined based upon a historical or legendary figure, that a community associate themselves with. The traditional Chinese calendar starts with the beginning of the reign of the Yellow Emperor... etc. These human calendars are very meaningful to the communities that use them. What kind of dating methods are used to estimate our worlds age as 4.5 billion years old? As far as I know, 4.6 billion years is based on age of "very old zircon" from Australia. How was that zircon dated? Maybe topic for next video? ;)

Tells the story of geochemist Clair Patterson, who calculated the age of the Earth with the established half-life of uranium's radioactive decay to lead, and was able to estimate the age of our home.

I really don't think the crusaders were real christains. Using the title christain while living wicked, is a great way for Satan to make Jesus look bad.
