Doll, just discovered your channel. You speak so maturely on this topic. I largely agree with you. Most of the people that support my transition have exclaimed on hearing the news that; "Wow, you are so courageous!". These people see that we can embrace change and are happy for us. The negativity comes from people who are maybe jealous of us for being able to make this change. I'm dreading coming out to my parents, because at their age, they can't stand change. If I was assigned female at birth, they would have no issue accepting me as the person I am becoming, but simply accepting me as that person having previously viewing me as a different person is a change I don't think they will accept.

I am a 41 year old woman, and I am still early in the transition process. I live in a very conservative area of the US, and every adult member of my family is a regular Fox "news" viewer. I transitioned my wardrobe 4 years ago, but still present as a man, and I've never had "the talk" with my family. They just assume I am gay, even though I have never dated a man. I often bring up the subject as a way of dropping hints, but what I have found from talking to them, is that they just no understanding of what it means to be trans. They look at it through the prism of sexuality. They don't really make the distinction between trans people and crossdressers, and they don't even have a good understanding of what a crossdresser is. They think that wearing women's clothing means I'm gay. They look at it as some type of sexual fetish, and believe that trans people are sex freaks that will attack someone in a bathroom. I think that is the issue with most people that hate us. They are ignorant of what being trans is, and because of the existence of crossdressers, they connect it to sex. They don't understand it, so they fear it. Unfortunately, there is so much misinformation out there, that it is nearly impossible to overcome.

I would like to thank you for the transparent, concise, articulation of our adversaries. Change is a constant throughout nature and in my opinion should be embraced. In business, you are gaining, or you are losing. As an aging transwoman only 5 years into my transition. I have to say it was transition, or kill myself. It is not easy but then everything of any worth is difficult. In this, I am made whole. Thank You for your positive representation of transwomen.

Finally a video that explains this I personally not a leftist neither a conservative or all that shit I like to feel relax But I never understand why people just gate trans! Even the LGBTQ community at some point didn't like them I had a trans friend (had because when we finished school she just ghosted) He was a man and he identified as a woman (well was in the heavy process) with you know, transfobic and homophobic family. And I just don't understand the hate towards trans? Me and my friend are weird, like we know the world it's rotten and there's no saving it. I'm heterosexual and I hate HATE when people are like "oh so I identify as a helicopter" And all those 10 to even 20 year people who use the world "sigma" non ironically Like WHYYYYYY!!?!?!?!?!? are they angry because they are happy? (It's a very big subject so i wont talk aboutreligion). Yeah I get that maybe calling them by the pronouns it's hard to like get use too, my friend wanted me to refer to her as a girl so I did, I must admit it was a bit harder sometimes because Spanish emphasizes a lot on the gender of the word, like "gato" it's a MALE cat, and "gata" wich it's FEMALE cat, and in English it's just cat, or kitty or even puss, but she didn't make a big fuss she understood that well, I'm dumb so it took me a bit to get used to And when someone that didn't know that she was a trans girl (this is how they're called? Like a men that identifies as a woman) called her by the male pronouns, she knew that those persons didn't knew her so she didn't get angry over it I first tried to look for an answer because sheesh ultimately I've seen like really transfobic content here on yt And just wanted to understand why?

At first my uncle was so demeaning. But, now I still go to his place. I still love my family members. My mom hates, hates the notion. My Dad nearly got it right with a cute joke. About putting on a Bikini and enjoying the sun outside the other day. Little did he know he was so right of what is the closet of mine. So, I think he knows but have not confirmed it yet. Without asking me. His son is becoming MTF.

There's nothing objectively wrong with transwomen. They can exist and live their lives. The greatest discrimination comes from adult males that subscribe to a masculine ideal (Power, muscles, cars, guns). The masculine ideal is something they uphold and deem important. The adult males get a visceral reaction and they can't help themselves. It's automatic. Transwomen can be courageous, sensible, resolute etc. that are deemed "masculine" traits. A transwoman is not a weak person per se. The BASIC fear must Be that a transwoman is into other women and this competitive dynamic in which The women do not appreciate The masculine ideal must Be The issue. A transwoman that is into lesbianism May well impregnate half The women, especially The lesbians. We all know that women aren't truly into penetration, but that's The only trick in a male's playbook. A typical heterosexual relationship also has an unequal Power dynamic in which The male is superior. Many women must Be interested in a transwoman that allows for an equal relationship.

Seeing all the hate online...it makes it hard to be positive. I'm nonbinary, and unfortunately not many people I know irl accept or even try to understand. Nobody uses my preferred pronouns, and I'm so often given "compliments" about my perceived gender that gives me a lot if dysphoria. I just wish I felt ok to be me in this country...
