Asking God to put you out of a place you love where you do your passion is really tough. I wish would I have the the same courage when praying, coz sometimes knowing what God wants us to do is a bit terrifying, simply because this requires us to leave or throw away something that makes us 'happy'.

It is definitely hard, but not with God, For with God ALL THINGS are possible! If you surrender these things to God and give Him permission to remove it from your life, you will have a completely different mindset and taste about that thing. I used to smoke weed and drink beer all day every day, and when I surrendered it to God on New Year 2013, I woke up the next day without a single withdrawal which was a supernatural miracle because everyday I had withdrawals. I haven't looked back ever since. God is soo good!

I have been suffering from porn and food addiction as a partial result of me having a learning disability that starts ruining my career as an engineer, this makes me wonder if I am in the right place. I dislike it because my grandad told me it was a stinking rotten place full of perverts..well he told my dad, my dad told me.. I totally agree with you, Scotty. Your ministry has been instrumental in delivering me from the desire to watch unclean, anti-Christian content. I can't watch movies that go against God's Word, or at least I I can't do so for very long before turning them off. I praise our God for yall's work. I never have gotten the impression that you hate Hollywood. Keep up the good work.

There are some movies I want to make that will reach ppl, so they can get saved through Christ. But I struggle with it cause I’m not sure if God wants me to represent him In what is known to be a evil industry or if he doesn’t want me to have anything to do with Hollywood and getting their funding and help for my film ideas. Well for one the new Matrix movie is called 'Resurrection', looks to be based on Alice in wonderland programming mind control and is directed by one of the now trans Wachowski brothers 'Lana' (both Wachowski brothers are now trans 'sisters'). So many agendas at play. I think the question is more a case of what is right with it instead of wrong. In my view it is just more fodder for those whom choose delusion and sin. I do have compassion and empathy as I was one of them. so grateful for this channel showing me why I felt the animosity toward God without any reason... simple programming via the guise of entertainment. God please bless all to have scales from eyes removed so they may realise the very real lies. Please give wisdom understanding and discernment that they may choose the best, You God Almighty. so... you actually went to film school and studied film yet you guys still take things out of context when "analyzing' it? really? that blows my mind. i'm sorry about all of that money you wasted on film school, Scotty. clearly you didn't really learn much there. as i've said before in other comments that you guys have ignored: if you're going to talk about films from a Christian point of view then you should look at the POSITIVE things in these movies. because more often than not there are a lot of things and messages in the movies you guys talk about that are really good and connect to stories from the Bible. so why not talk about those? some of the best pastors i've listened to and interacted with have used popular media in this way. why? to connect with kids and younger people listening, and show them that God is everywhere and that these Bible stories are relevant even in the other things they're interested in outside of their Faith. i feel like if you guys did the same thing not only would your videos come off as less negative, but there's a good chance you'd be able to pull in a lot of new people to the Faith instead of alienating people here on RU-vid who are fans of the movies you're talking about.

Well that is not reality. Not everything is positive. And the truth of the matter is the devil uses popular media to promote his agenda whether people are aware of it or not. Yes, pastors will use media, to relate to the youth and get them into church because that is what has a hold on the younger generation, which was by design. These movies and even music were made to be attractive to people, but that doesn't mean there isn't harmful things in them. Them exposing the truth about these films is also another way to get people into the faith. If you like certain movies that's fine, but you also should acknowledge that there are some negative spiritual things in them as well. Just ask God to change your heart.

@@nicollettes4665 i'm not denying there can be negative aspects of these movies. but LLS has consistently taken things out of context in their videos just to try to purposely show some of these movies in a negative light without *really* doing much actual analysis or even watching the film a lot of the time. a lot of their pixar videos in the past few years are great examples. they'll take things from the TRAILER and make assumptions based on that, and then not show the part of the trailer that contradicts whatever point they make. they twist things to fit a narrative, and their audience eats it up. it's manipulative and unprofessional and i know they can do better. they're good people who are passionate about what they do and are passionate about their faith. and i respect that a lot. i just really don't like the way they go about "analyzing" media or how they interact with people in their comments offering criticism.

@@anthonyluetmer8499 oh yes it actually has. For one, a big bang theory defies science. Not that the Big bang theory is evolution, but most evolutionists agree with that theory because they don't believe in God and therefore this universe had to have started somewhere. But, science shows that there are no transitional fossils in the strata layers. It also shows that animals that exist today look exactly the same thousands or (supposed) "millions" of years ago. Also, polystrate fossils prove that the strata layers do not represent millions of years. Check it out sometime.
