Wow, this makes sense to me! I have been having pain in my middle back (mainly left side) for a few months. The pain is MOSTLY when I do the dishes (and sometimes when I walk for a long time). I can vacuum the entire house, do laundry, bathe my dog, many other activities without any pain. But, doing dishes or preparing food for more than 10 minutes or so, has been causing pain and it has gotten worse. Taking the breaks helps a little bit. I will try the leg on a stool tip- thank you!!!

Thanks for sharing!! I get this all the time and am only 22 and I’ve definitely had this pain happen years before (but has gotten worse more recently), is this concerning for someone at my age with a healthy weight and diet?

Tricia, the age doesn't matter. it is more common in older people because the body is usually in worse shape. This is because of the imbalances in the body which can be present at any age and health condition. If you experience this often, then you have to see a specialist who can figure out what the imbalances are and help you correct them.

Good question @brothertn708. Back pain occurs in thin people as well although not as much as heavier people. The pull on the spine from the weight of the abdomen of heavier people is a big factor in low back pain.
