Historically it is not something new, people without moral compass have been showing at certain moment in history to remind us to keep away from them but having showing us the worse, and Trump is in the same league of those dictators.

Treating others like you like to be treated does not exist in the Trump world. It’s a matter of who you can step on to reach the top. This is a sad state of affairs here in the U.S. For example, so many people think the pandemic is over. Not many like me that still wear a mask religiously. It’s not just for me, it’s for the sake of not spreading it to others. I believe someday someone will mock me for wearing a mask. All I can do is shake my head in bewilderment.

I'm not a big fan of celebrities per se. But in George Clooney's case, I think he's just magnificent in all ways. I especially love how he really isn't egotistical at all and can talk to all and sundry. Keep doing what you're doing, George! 😊

Huge difference between political activism and being 'in politics'. There's a very long history of ethnic violence and nomadic tribal conflict in Sudan. African politics is complex. So, he failed. Everyone has failed in that particular region. Clooney's heart is in the right place though. He's intelligent and he cares. Anyone like that will have a very tough time in current American politics. I can understand him not wanting to get involved.
I'm 61 too and act like I'm 14. Laughter keeps us young. I've always had a crush on George Clooney. Not just because he is total eye candy because he is the real deal.
George is right, the real issue here is not just the political and ideological divide, but the coarsening of attitudes and the increasing tolerance toward acts of meanness, cruelty, and general uncivil behaviors. Because every other problems begins with people's attitude toward one another.
George, I have always respected how you live your life and for you doing your part to help others who need help and support. I also respect your attention that you give to causes and others who need someone in their corner. Not just a pretty face! He’s the nicest, sweetest most fun person in Hollywood. I saw him nearly every day when I worked on the Warner Bros. Lot. His office was right behind mine. He always had a smile, a Good Morning, a Hi Ladies greeting. Never took himself seriously or too good to interact with un-famous studio employees. Just a nice person unaffected by his fame.
How lovely. That’s good to hear. Sometimes actors are jerks in private. I never thought that about George though. He seems truly kind and sweet and also humble and funny.
I met George in person just before "Batman" came out...he was very nice, genuine, and thanked me for wishing him "good luck" with the movie. We shook hands and said "have a nice day"! 😊 PS... He was just as handsome in person then, as now, and I remember his hands being warm! 🥰

Didn't realize Wallace was 75 years old during this interview. He has aged well. I don't blame Clooney for thinking they were near equivalents in age. I would have put Chris in his early to mid 60s. Much respect to George. He grew up with what I feel were the proper ideals and parenting. It's sad that way too many children in America don't get proper parenting and a sense of purpose in life.
I'll never forget that tribute to his father. George was roasting him, quite a bit. Then, the parade of guests paying tribute, went on and on. Walter Cronkite was the show stopper - a remote feed. George's face was priceless. I think he saw dear old dad, in a different light, right then. Just an observation! Godspeed George Clooney! Keep fighting for the underdog!

In terms of age, I think it depends on how much someone keeps up with health the rest of life. My father is 77 but still works full time, goes for daily power walks with my mom (also working in her 70s) and rides his bike for exercise and to catch the train. People who are of a certain age like 80 don't always need walkers.

I took great care of myself & have a lot to look forward to. I'm retiring in 4 years & opening up a "tiny village," for tiny homes. Complete with communal garden! KUDOS to your folks, they raised a GREAT daughter!

We help disabled people (including me - I have 6 "invisible" disabilities due to an unexpected brain hemorrhage similar to an aneurysm that I had surgery for at age 12 - I try to stay positive and keep an optimistic attitude but I learn a lot from working to assist seniors as well as having volunteered to help others in the past.) Maybe that's why my college major was Sociology!

I like Georgie boy and some of his movies are great but he is wrong to say that migrants are legally looking for asylum when they are not legally crossing the border at a recognised point of entry and/or making their asylum application through official channels. I was raised similarly in that my parents expected us to know what was going on around us. They generally kept it age appropriate, but we all sat down together to watch the local news and talked about it. Until the rise of social media, I just assumed that everyone did this too. I was clearly wrong. Also, I enjoyed that Chris Wallace was obviously flattered that George Clooney thought that they were close in age. He fangirled a tiny bit and it was adorable.
My Brother was in Getmany during Vietnam and me and my dad would discuss all the news and even have our friendly Debates!! One thing he told me@, and I never will for get was, read the news and listen to the news, so you know what's going on in the world around you... And I taught this to my kids and and my youngest son. All were advised readers and vI would say" Listen to the news or read it so you know what is going on in this world around you!!""
