comedyhype.com/ - At an early age, Lil JJ would showcase he had a natural born talent to entertain audiences. People would consider the comedian a natural born star who was well on his way. Instagram: @ComedyHype & Twitter: @ComedyHype_
Disappearing meaning he disappeared out of the spotlight off the scene to go to college that's understandable what difference does it make how it's worded it means the same shit
Damario Morris yea that back in the day bro Now kids are not funny just disrespectful That’s what’s different and no home training and 100% no dads lol
U can drop that mic ,but I'ma pik it up faster than a fat kid looking at it like it's a NUTTY BUT,ice cream yummy to my tummy ,my hustle on cruise control cuzz slow money better than no money
@@deannabyrd4862 HELL YEAH, HE IS A STAR IF YOUR WONDERING WHETE THE YOUNG MAN WENT RIGHT? REMEMBER MONEY THAT COMES SLOW MAKES US MORE RESPONSIBLE AND LESS WREAKLESS. ONE THING APPEARS NOT TO BE DOING IS DRUGS, MUGSHOTS, DUI'S OR DEAD SO LIL JJ IS WINNING TO ME.
Put some RESPEKK on J.J’s name,he took a break and went back to school and came back to the scene hustling and smart, I’m just happy a BROTHER didn’t go down the drug way like most child stars.
Like said, through that whole clip he we didn't hear drugs, mugshots, dui's or death. So respect that he wanted to have a education to fall back on. Plus slow money, aint wreakless money and u don't have friends around for what u can get from
They hate on Nick He is the original child prodigy and I agree they don't give him his credit but that is Hollywood they ain't giving the black man that is true to self shit.
Mesha Holmes i dont think thats true. I think hes a mogul. So his fame is kinda unorthodox. And Its not that hes famous for nothing, hes known for a lot. But you know when someone says Nick Cannon I dont think of none of his movies or songs or even his show or his marriage with Mariah Carey. But not a lot of people watched his come up. Appealing to the younger generation is what gets your name put out their because we are more active on social media. People dont know your name if no one says it. But it dosnt mean hes idle. Idk if that makes sense but hes obviously someone that knows what hes doing
No we didn't. I was about 12 or 13 at the time. I was super star struck 😂. When me and my friend walked up to him, his security got jumpy and he was like "It's all good". They was finna give us the mitts 🤣😭. I just told him me and my cousin were fans of his stand up and Just Jordan. He was at the corner store getting White T's for a show and somebody told him to go to the store up the block from my house. He took pictures with the clerk and everything. It was like 8 pm and his show was downtown that night like a 10pm. I was so PISSED I couldn't go. From what I heard he was late to his set, and STILL did another 20 mins to make it up. Real humble guy, dude.
I extremely glad to hear he didn’t get into any heavy drugs, alcohol or crime. It’s is extremely refreshing to see he went to get a degree and came back strong.
Slow and steady wins the race. He is still young. Continue to work and go to school. People want things to fast nowadays. Get it fast and loose it fast. Also Arkansas may not be the best place for him opportunity wise. How about he start writing material for other people. Stop trying to Rap. Thats why hes struggling. Focus on honing yout comedic skill. They gave you a show based on comedy. Not Rapping. Just Sayin.
chuck killawood I don’t know that to be true or false. But usually it’s a parent/guardian who sees the potential of the child to be a star, this case is unusual in that way. Cuz had it not been for his teacher, who knows if we’d be talking about him at all.
@@latoyaracquel1680 recognizing talent is one thing, bit given his body of work, he should have some money, and who really knows if this teacher had any management skills, contract negotiation experience, but I have seen so called managers get as much as 55%, of the gross, which is crazy, so without fully knowing the scope of their contract it is interesting to ponder, bit I do know for sure, that enough cash can turn a decent guy, into an ass, really quick.
He wasn’t that funny, he was just a lil ass kid talking shit to adults. If so what are his funniest bits? He was a novelty whose career dried up faster than the little bit of talent than he had 🤷🏽♂️
Bill B I wouldn’t say at his best cause Ares was killing it in the MadTV days but your right Ares was much better and so was Eddie Murphy shit he was like 17 on SNL and recorded his first Album. Lil JJ is where Nick Cannon would be if he didn’t marry Maraiah Carey
I took a class with him at Arkansas Baptist College. He was mad cool and quiet. All the dudes there would crack jokes on him to get him to do it back but he always laughed and never checked back. This was maybe 2011
Yea .you cant. you also cant make any money now with an education. Fukin dummy . trades make money. Education a get yo ass fired. Can u read. You fukkin education mascot 😂😂😭😭
The data is indisputable, people with a college degree earn AT LEAST 3x's more than those who don't. My wife and parents kept saying, "you're too intelligent to not have a college degree." After marriage and kids I went back and earned my B.A. and M.A while working 40-50hrs/week. Best decision of my life! Black folks need more education, plus it's one less obstacle to overcome. My kids know that college is not a "choice" for them, it's a norm.
It's nothing really bad about lol it's just some Christians see it as praying and worshiping another god but not everyone that joins a fraternity is Christians so them going around scaring people is silly also some involves a lot of hazing there has been some cases at some colleges were hazing has led to death
@@seldomphaith9843 It's the hazing, and arrogant posturing. I will never understand wanting to be a part of something that says "to be a part of this group you must be humiliated, tortured, and possibly killed." Sounds like a serious lack of self respect to want to be a part of that. Then they go on to list off how well-connected you'll be for life and how charitable they are. Sounds like a load of shit from some big-headed assholes to me.🙁🙁🙁🙁
S/o to the teacher for helping him develop his craft. Usually teachers tell “class clowns” that they won’t amount to anything in life. I’m glad he pushed him to his full potential.
Mhmm Jim Carey speaks to the importance of a teacher who helped him on his journey. He has shared a story of a teacher who recognized his “class clown” penchant but the teacher was smart and caring enough to recognize she could use his desire to perform as a reward to shape behaviour. Instead of scolding him she set aside time at the end of the day for him to perform for the class. Compromise=win-win
i got pretty good grades in the past b plus and shit but ever since 5th grade ive been getting suspended and my grades are dropping but im tryna get back on the right track
You did a very good job on this bio. I am also glad to hear how well rounded Jay became as a child actor; He made it to adulthood, drug and tragic free. Somebody was praying and his village must be just as phenomenal as he is.
Hollywood isn’t for black people. Instead of waiting on Hollywood we need to start creating our own content. Everything lil jay jay did was cancelled except wild n’ out
And the crazy thing is his image was never compromise to identify with adults or kids. He was just the regular funny kid from the hood being himself. So going into adulthood he didn't have to keep up an image of a child star.
Lil JJ is Blessed with that “Special Light”....he’ll Blend back in whatever career he chooses when he’s ready....He has that “IT FACTOR”.....Some things people are just Blessed’With....hold it down my Brother.
I like school .. but to go to school or atleast college . To go to a 9 -5 .. to worm on to wildin out sounds so counter productive.. means financially his funds was good enough to go to school . Should have taken that 100k plus an started a business 🤷🏾♂️
KAMIKAZEE KOBRA718 maybe he didn’t want to start a business. Everybody doesn’t choose the same path, that man wanted to pursue his education and follow his dream of comedy. Why knock that
Many of us that graduated from college have a 9-5, and are educators, social workers, and the list goes on. Education is important, and he made a great move. Period! Much love to my D9 family that attended a HBCU!!!
@@AuthorLHollingsworth so he went into show business just to give his money to a dead end ... looose all his bread flip cheese burgers an beg nick cannom for a gig in his house of side show freaks..... yeah we will agree to disagee
I was his aunts eyelash artist for the longest time and she spilled the tea to me as to why he stepped away. She told me that some "big" people said to him that it was time for a sacrifice. Some of you may know what I'm talking about. He refused to sacrifices anyone in his family so they gave him the boot.
I was looking for a comment like this. Im wondering how he got to walk away without the blood sacrifice because its required no matter what. He probably did the other rituals to keep from sacrificing one his loved ones.
This was refreshing! I’m glad to hear he isn’t strung out like a lot of child actors. He’s still hustlin & staying productive, I wish him more success. Keep grindin!!!!!
Impressed!!! No scandals, drugs, distructive behaviors. So he dropped off the scene to go to college. Again... IMPRESSED!!! Praying he continued growth & success. Tyler give this lil brother a call
Much love my brother, work hard and work right. Glad you have not sold your SOUL TO SATAN LIKE A LOT IN THIS WORLD HAS. Be blessed for GOD IS THE GLORY AND SHALL PROVIDE FOR HE IS THE KING OF ALL RICHES.
Cool On Canvas That’s what makes him a bum to me bro, I’m sure he was getting chipped off well enough to at least start saving and start a college fund but dude went to a Baptist university no disrespect to those who attend but unless he’s becoming a preacher that’s a waste of time. Now home boy working at a cake shop and is reaching out to a grown man who dresses like woman and acts hella ratchet for help. To me that don’t sound like his “career” was a success.
Cool On Canvas lol Come on bro we gotta be honest about bullshit and this is bullshit , I don’t feel sorry for this cat. Most of the world works an honest 9 to 5 job so what makes that beneath him? Cause he said some old recycled jokes and cursed as a kid on tv? Cause he had a corny ass Nickelodeon show where the theme song was the best thing about the show? Naw fuck him lol and anybody that gives that type of shit play. There’s a reason why it’s called show business, it’s 10% show and 90% business 🤷🏽♂️
DAMN . . . I didn't realize that was him on Wild-N-Out. He looked familiar, but I just couldn't remember where I knew him from. I wish all the best for him.
Wow, there are really some talented people in Little Rock, AR. Attending college at Philander Smith College here has brung me great opportunities as well. I’m proud of bro 🦾💯
@@tercial yes. He is. Not on all episodes. Sometimes his there and sometimes his not. I think it depends on his schedule during taping of the show. Ijs- it could b possible.
Damn, I aint even remembered he existed. A lot of child stars tend to go out of sight out of mind. They're either broke, addicts, or dead. Glad to see he's not looking like Macaulay Culkin or acting like Orlando Brown. No offense to them bcuz Hollywood and Fame isn't for everyone.
He didn’t disappear, he just did what most of us un famous people do every day and stayed out the spot light. He is doing way better than most famous people around his age.
That’s exactly what I was thinking. They try to get you when you’re young and don’t know any better. That’s why he only had two seasons of his show. His mama wasn’t gon let that fly. Show biz is eveil n demonic
@Kareem Fuller getting initiated and making a sacrifice are two different things. Plenty of Boule members are working class or working poor. They didn’t take the next step. He does need to repent though and get out of that stuff completely. He probably won’t though.
He did disappear from the limelight for a while, but I see him on Instagram from time to time. He still has that big, beautiful, nice & wonderful smile.
*I wish an established respectable comedian would have taken him under the wings. Glad he has been a regular on Nick Cannon’s Wild N’Out. Wish he could have gotten on SNL. Wish this young man all of the success in the world.*
@@ershannon0 no he has a bachelors degree he's a member of omega psi phi fraternity you cant join without a bachelors and he not honorary the person who did the video messed up he got a bachelors not an associate's
@@ladyyrose I can respect it and I actually have alot of respect for Nick cannon because he's got some great knowledge and he watches out for our people but I'm not gonna sit here and act like that show gets attention.
Great video young man! Very informative and well edited. I did not know he was on Wild N Out, I never even thought to look him up on social media. Thanks a lot for the video again, keep up the dope content!
I still laugh at the joke he did about momma’s putting heavy a$$ braids in their daughters head & wondering why they can’t hold their heads up MY NECK HURRRT!!! I’ve liked him since funny dude!
Respect to his teacher, and his mom (I remember seeing him perform as a little kid - Tremendous talent) for encouraging and supports his talents/gifts. Wish him continued success.
I remember him I’m so glad that you know he’s OK he’s not on drugs and he still like surviving and working so I’m proud of him regardless of what he does
If you dont know the whole story dont speak on it. You clearly dont understand how hollywood works. You probably think the real dave Chappelle was stupid for not signing that megacontract with comedy central too right?
