@@Josh.Davidson Hey josh! How did you learn so much about electronics? I've always done repairs/modifications more as a sidehobby but I've never been able to get a foot into the development aspect. Recently got into chipping switches, and even thought about developing an RPI alternative to the "HWFLY" chip which hemorrhaged in price after TeamX went down, ruining the market. Didn't even know where to start :(. Luckily, competent developers swooped in and dropped the PicoFLy. Still I need guidance because i want to know more. Btw Saw your last video, im very happy for you.

Amazes me how often I see hot glue, I personally don’t even have it in my toolbox. Kapton tape is cheap enough, easy to apply or remove and makes for a more professional install.

I learned why hot glue is stupid through the Xbox 360 Hub Discord, as well as the hard way through an RGH performed on a console that was dead anyway. The last console I used hot glue on is not on the solder joints, but just to hold the rest of the wire down, and then I gave up on it. I just can't imagine paying a premium for this garbage.

The only thing I can think of for so much use of hot glue is that they use that on the "production lines" to secure wires down. Otherwise, I have never heard anyone who "knows how to solder" ever use hot glue, because it just SUCKS. They use some kind of "heat resistant tape" that we probably all know.
@Josh.Davidson
@Josh.Davidson Год назад
No, hot glue is not use for that. In production lines, Kapton tape is used, because unlike hot glue which is not a professional material at all, Kapton tape is designed for this purpose.

@@Josh.Davidson So is it advisable to install rgh 3.0 without resistance? If so, I'm going with everything, then I've heard people say that the Nand dies or that it gets completely damaged or things like that!! But you have the last answer in this matter máster

Hi Josh. So I noticed I have a Jasper V2 and want to get it RGH'd and found someone who can do it but only does RGH 3.0. I hear the RGH1.2a is better for phats like the Jaspers or is there something new about RGH 3.0 that works now better with Xbox 360 fats? Thank you.

RGH1.2 is strongly recommended to avoid issues now or down the road. Btw Jasper "V2" board name is "Tonasket". You can read about it at XenonLibrary.
