Why Should You Play GTA IV in 2023? 

The driving in GTA V felt like I was playing a generic racing game. IV was tedious at times was always more fun and reactive to your movement.

GTA IV is still the best in the series imo. The physics and immersion are unmatched by V. I remember being disappointed when V came out because despite looking better it didn't feel like an improvement at all in the "Do anything open world immersive sandbox" area which is what I think most people love about GTA.

GTA IV was Def an instant classic. Its in its own class different from GTAs past and different from GTA future. It has its quirks but for its time it was an amazing game. Definitely enjoy playing it. On a different note, keep pushing through my friend youre not alone, dont let the negatives others say get to you. It takes a strong person to be as open as you are with it. Youre loved and appreciated. I know no word will fix how you feel or just make it all better but i just want you to know, from me, i am and always will be here to support you. I feel the same things you do espc getting into the fall and winter months. Keep pushing through, know you have others that will always support you and lift you up. Much love ❤️

I miss GTA IV. The online component was so simplistic and fun. The story itself was a masterpiece, it really made you think and feel, unlike V, or even San Andreas, which were both crazy and totally unrealistic in most ways. Liberty City still looks good for being 14 years old (older if you could development time).

Never played GT4, but it is so interesting seeing all the actual landmarks that I know so well from going to NYC so many times. Glad to see you back Zach.

It's good to see you back buddy.. I hope you're feeling better since the last time you left us a community post telling us what was going on. I've also been dealing with my own mental health issues. I've been dealing with my issues since I was 7 when I was diagnosed with severe depression and I'm 33 now so that's 26 years I've been dealing with it, it's actually about to be 27 years since my birthday is September 28th.. the dark thoughts I have are absolutely insane, I wanna act on them so bad, and I'm going to be completely honest, I have acted on those dark thoughts and I did try 3 attempts and each time I either survived or was interrupted.. some days are better than none, the bad days I don't get any sleep, like recently the past 2 months I've literally only had I'd say 38-39 hours of sleep the last 2 months? And I also don't eat and out of these past 2 months where it's been real bad Ive eaten maybe 13-14 days out of the 60.. with me it gets real bad, I'm still feeling down as I type this but I'm feeling ok enough to watch some videos to see if they'll help a little bit and I'm hoping they do because I'm fed up with dealing with this stuff and have been for a long time. But anyway if you ever feel like you felt just recently and you feel like you need to talk to someone, my inbox on IG is always open because I know sometimes it's easier to talk to someone who understands what you're going through because they experienced it or going through it because we could talk about everything and it could help by getting it out there and figuring out ways how to help each other get better and stuff, but sorry for the long comment Zach but it's good to see you back and to see the videos again, and again if you ever wanna talk, let me know buddy

Good to see you sir! Having been an old school LCPDFR player I have spent a LOT of time in Liberty City. Every now and then I still hop in and go for a drive. Nobody can deny the technical advancements of GTA V, but I prefer the density of the big city. Yeah LS is a big city, but it's not nearly as densely packed as LC.

I now live in Upstate NY. Haven't been to NYC, but I have to say that, after being in NY for a month, Liberty City really hits the NY state vibes really well. I just spent the morning driving in a very frustrated manner through Watertown and LC is giving the same energy right down to the way the drivers are lmao

Why i love 4 1: Cops actually patrol and don't get mad at you for driving a stolen car. 2: The locations felt like the real thing. 3: These games aren't forcing microtransaction's.

i read some recent articles that said GTA 6 is in the works but its the release dates that are still way up in the air.

I play this with the “Arrest Warrant” Mod, huge game changer.

I just got done modding the game actually, Really nice to revisit it.

Man I really miss this game, it's probably been 8 or 9 years since I've played it... I feel like I didn't appreciate it as much as I should have when I owned it

This game is such a childhood core memory for me. I've been making videos of a pacifist% run of this game to force me to get back into it, and it has been super fun

GTA 4 was a different time in the world of GTA. III, Vice City ( My Favorite one), and San Andreas had it's own set of graphics and action. Looking at 4, it was a new kind of look. A great game and good story line. They improved in 5 and RDR2 (Amazing game and storyline). Zach, your content ain't ever boring even if it is just a conversation. We love seeing your vids. I do say, you should do a Chase Me in GTA 4 again.

I only ever played the stock game cos I was a newb, I still kinda am I only do modest mods haven't even worked 5M out yet :( I want to tho... That said I still love this game! I hated how small it was, or felt, when it came out but looking back it brought so much we don't even have now in 5. It might not be everybody's cup of tea but it was a masterpiece of it's day given what it gave that we still have to mod in today for 5.

Due to life circumstances, I never played GTA 4 after 100%ing GTASA like 3 times. But I bought a console just to play GTA V. I always meant to go back to Liberty City, but never got around to it. Ill check out the mods and see about giving it a shot.

I was recently wanting to actually play this again, played the gta 5 story like 2 years ago from start to finish for the first time now im wanting to play this. Last time was when i was like 8 when it was just "steal car loose cops" mentality

4 deserves a remaster, but i rather wait for a good one.

I still play GTA IV on the PS3 Once I get my PC fixed I will be getting in on there I wish the newer GTA would have the suspension as IV it is just so much better same with the water

Rockstar should take the time to get Vice City, Liberty City, and Los Santos all up to the same specs and enable it so players could fly back and forth between each city. I'd pay a good amount of money to help make this happen. Throw in San Fierro and Las Venturas and you have yourself a game that will last for 20 years. World of Warcraft has been around since 2004. I want to see the GTA version of that.

Just reinstalled it on Xbox one for cause of this video. Still so fun but I wish it looked this good on console. Just an HD upscale alone would look amazing.

I was super late to play this game back in the day. I wanted to play it so bad. I remember going to a friend's house and he had it on ps3, I took the controller and played for hours. He crashed on the couch and I played it all night. The graphics and detail at the time were incredible. It's crazy you could get drunk and drive. I was always so disappointed that you couldn't customize vehicles. Also, these games need a city with a race track and a drag strip! The games lost their way at some point. Steal cool cars, customize them, do it all over again. So this one was classic but kind of a flop for me. I still beat the story mode 3 times though.

When I'm unexpectedly listening to music, well-known from GTA IV, I honestly feel like: *"Welcome home."* ... -Thanks for zach, That.- Thanks for that, Zach.

I’m just curious, when GTA 6 comes out will it be better then 4 and/or 5? With Dan Houser leaving RockStar, I’m just scared that our hopes will get up like CyberPunk and it turns out to be a flop. My standards are up for GTA 6 and I hope it’s like Red Dead Redemption 2 with the graphics and story mode and lighting etc!

Picking up items and throwing it at people was funny at times. I missed going to the gym to workout details in gta sa even the truck missions in single player mode. gta 5 messed out on that detail

I think they're working on GTA VI I'm not sure

I never like this version of GTA, it was the only 3D GTA game I never even tried to beat. Not sure why, it just was never my thing. Give me GTA3 or Vice City any day in the pre GTA V games. That being said, watching this video did bring back some memories, and a few areas I remember vividly. Maybe one day I'll try it again.

Is it just me or is everyone playing/talking gta IV again right now ever since the gta VI leaks?

The game is still great. And although the physics are years ahead of any other GTA game, it's still not that good. Driving cars feels like you're on a boat, there's an useless speed cap, because consoles couldn't render the world faster due to power limit, etc. But all of that can be fixed with mods. I can recommend "Realistic Driving and Flying" by Killatomate. Together with some realistic weapon mod makes the game much more enjoyable.
