Louis has got real balls as journalist. Like he goes into neo-nazi's communities and made it really awkward coz he didn't want to say whether he's a Jew or not....making those neo-nazi's believe he was one.... that guy got stones man. He also does a lot of crazy stuff. Like I still remember him making a docu about the porn industry, him making a docu about bodybuilders and really diving deep in the topics for his docu's. That is something you don't see journalists do anymore, they all copy and paste what their peers write on twitter without even bothering to check if any of it is actually real. And they all are progressives.... like close to Stalin progressive. Like they eat their soy biolab fake chicken with a hamer and sickle instead of a knife and fork, do you know what I mean.
Passive is the way. Chasing women will just complicate his life and he has a lot to risk. No doubt in time he'll just stumble across a girl worth the risk but if not being single just works for some people and is a stress free option.
Wait I’ve seen a couple mention him saying clock you like that, saying clock or clocked as you noticed something or someone is old slang isn’t it? 😂 what are we joking about here?
I've no interest in Stormzy's music, it's just not my thing, but whenever I've listened to him being interviewed, he's always come across as such a likeable character and now I just watch them to hear stuff like this!
@@james2479 ? how sway how rofl have u heard about what he raps thats like 30% and most of the time he uses it as slang and doesn't mean it his music changed allot and he triest to lift people up what u on about
Clock you or you “clocked” something to mean you noticed something is old white English slang isn’t it? what do you mean 😂 or is it cause Louis would be more posh than people who would use it?
@N B what? It's not white English slang. We've been using it got decades. Nobody said it was cool but remember this generation of kids have no sense of history at all.
YOU'RE 28!!!!!! You have so much time to figure things out! No worries mate! Enjoy your life in the present! There is PLENTY of time to figure that out eventually! When it happens, it happens and it will be what it will be. It is 100% worth waiting for.
I thought Stormzy would respond like, "ya know Louis, I focus on ma grind and don't have the time for girls yet". But no, just like the rest of us he has no clue how to do it well.
True! But society does make you feel like you should be in a relationship to be "really" happy. But you're right , timing is everything and concentrating on your goals and plans is definitely the way to go
Agreed 👍 I get Louis is coming from a nice place in giving advice, but it does seem like the norm when someone says they are single and not dating that the other person feels they ought to 'fix' it for them, there's an assumption that people need to be actively seeking 'the one'. Stormzy answered honestly, he is choosing to wait on God's timing and instruction. An active choice based on his own beliefs and convictions. Seems like Stormzy considered his options and had his priorities in order, not rushing into something and bring considerate of the process so as to protect the person he may then be courting. It might seem like the nice thing to do is give your advice and opinions, but honestly I think it's much nicer to just accept a persons answer when you ask them a question. It's a bit of a bug bare for me when someone seems to ask a question effectively just so they can give you their opinions on what you should do /feel. Like here Louis springboards off a question to volunteer his opinion that Stormzy is being passive (giving a loaded opinion of Stormzy's feelings), leading into telling Stormzy what things he should do. It seems like Stormzy's choice is not considered a valid one as Louis gives his view/rebuttal right after Stormzy had already said he had considered and decided against the option of dating and never said he wanted to actively search for someone. Stormzy is comfortable being his own person and patiently waiting for if he meets someone which should be an option/ valid feeling that people ought to be able to accept. It was Louis, not Stormzy, right from the start coming in with Stormzy's age to push that idea he needed to be spending lots of time and emotional energy on dating, another societal assumption that you have to be partnered up by a certain age as you are expected to want children and there's a social accepted age at which you must have these kids by.
Lol this is totaly how it feels being single at 30..everyone asks you why arent you doing anything about it.. But what can you do :D you cant force these things, it comes naturaly :)
@@thisguy976 you'll meet someone perfect for you. Just keep doing what you're doing , sounds like you're ready for a relationship so it's probably just around the corner 😊
I think in some ways it's the culture we've developed as a society. We have flooded the market with dating apps, dating shows etc and as a result there is a huge increase I'm the percentage of men (and women but men in particular) who don't date anymore. I'll be honest it looked an awful lot easier to go on a date before the apps took over. There was an aura of excitement but now it's more like a chore.
Many women also don't dare. It isn't mainly men, that's a biased view because you're only looking at the women you want and the men who want those women. There are other types of people in the world.
@@ellie-tk4jy My view still stands that dating apps while increasing convenience the caveat is that they have damaged the fundamental purpose of dating which is to evaluate each others' suitability as companions on an intimate level while also having fun and some innocence.
For the longest time I felt like the odd one out because dating apps just aren't working for me, but now I think they just go against human nature. I am completely unable to tell whether I will find someone attractive based on pictures and a short bio. I can't swipe right on everyone, because as a woman you get flooded with likes (some of which are just blind likes as well, which doesn't exactly do wonders for one's self-esteem either). I want to meet someone the old fashioned way, but it does seem like no one dares to ask people out in real life anymore because there's always tinder to fall back on, which, at first glance, seems easier and like it makes you less vulnerable.
@@olivervarga-kiss8267 Listening to Stormzy in this interview is like honey to the ears given the masterful and subtle way he wields language. Stormzy almost caresses the words and ideas and they flow graciously from his mouth. Someone really worth listening to
@@dkizxpt-su3ze For the first we shall say, he is the one telling the truth we all feel in such an expressive way that all of mankind feel his words like nothing else, one hasn't used the English language like that since Shakespeare.
Such a well disciplined humble and rooted individual brought up by a humble family and has never forgotten his family values Louis doesn't just interview any individual they have to be interesting and intriguing to him
I think if he's honest with himself, he knows he's hurt someone before. Part of the reason for not dating is he doesn't want to do that again. I don't think it's a case of not trusting himself, but more about not forgiving himself for his mistakes with his last.
Capital G for God as he is the only ever living God and he is Almighty and all powerful! May God bless you and May your relationship with Jesus continue to be strengthened as knocks on the door of your heart for you to let him into all of your life🥰 stay near to him!
Except its dumb. What if God presents you with someone you don't find attractive? Then what? Women would be decent enough to accept it but men wouldn't. I wish men would stop lying and pretending to be people of God.
@@ellie-tk4jy God will always give you what is best for us as he knows us better than ourselves. If God wants you to be with that person it will happen by his grace!
I have respect for this gentleman, I know it’s camera talk and we never know truth, but compared to a lot of men his age and in his situation ,,he’s thinking and taking in the right direction and keeping it real. from a boring old man ;)
Rumour has it that one time Oloff was sat next to Jar Jar Binks on a flight. Jar Jar kept kicking the chair in front of him and generally being obnoxious, nobody knew what to do. Eventually one of the flight attendants came over and asked Oloff if he would perform one of his songs to calm Jar Jar down, and when Oloff began rapping the first verse to Doing It Stealthy, Jar Jar immediately relaxed. To this day the two are still close friends.
I have literally 0 idea who Stormzy is and just found out about him for the first time here, but I'll be damned if I'm gonna miss out on a Louis Theroux clip.
Not Louis tryna solve Stormzy dating life! I’m done 😂 Stormzy, you can date, just not in London, find someone abroad who isn’t phased by the glitz and the glam, and does her own thing.
In your eyes he peaked, not for others 😬 not denying she's good looking but us men need to stop putting women on a pedestal as if they're above us or unreachable
It looks like he's figured out that he doesn't need a woman in his life. Everything he's saying here is nothing more than plausible misdirection to avoid saying "guess what Louis, I don't need one".
