@@AddictionMindset I do two week ones and usually by that point your receptors have recovered for the most part, and excercising I found and guzzling water helps to expel that extra THC thats stored in fat cells along with excercise which just uses it all up so there's none left.
@@thesquad2253 bro really said cannabis is addictive as heroin... Cannabis is just psychologically addicting, heroin is physically addictive. you go cold turkey from cannabis, nothing happens. you go cold turkey from an IV heroin addiction, you experience hell on earth for a week.
I did a tolerance brake for a month and I promised myself that after I get back on it I would stop doing it every day every hour literally but I failed to do so now I’m on my 2nd tolerance brake and this time I hope I accomplish and fix how much I smoke.
Thank you. I am a long term medicinal user and I think it's different to differentiate between recreational and medicinal cannabis users when discussing tolerance breaks. Some medicinal users simply may not be able to take extended T-breaks, and to these people I would say to try and take shorter T-breaks more often. I take a 3 week break every 12 months, and whilst it is extremely challenging by the end of week 2, this is my preferred method.
Thanks, your videos is helping with my t break. I want to be in control of it again. I use to do things then smoke. Now its smoke then do something... and sometimes nothing.
@@HunterMcAwkward Interesting. Insomnia was the main symptom that bothered me, the aches/pains could have very well been worse in the morning. But the urge to smoke gets stronger for me as the day gets later, because my routine was/is smoking right after work and throughout the evening. I've quit twice and relapsed twice this year. Hope you are still going strong.
@@goblinmoblin4869 yeah for me I actually smoked more in the morning. Maybe theres Some correlation there. Day 3 and it’s bad but I’m hopeful! Thanks dude. Hope you are doing well too.
Exactly. I’m a MMJ patient and I literally smoke enough to get there and I still have plenty left. While I mainly smoke at home and on the road if I’m not driving, I typically try not to overindulge so my tolerance doesn’t skyrocket and my pockets thank me for not over doing it and then needing more
2nd day now, thanks for your constant videos and support. I’m subbing and staying tuned. Honestly a great and appreciated help when it felt like there was none.
I needed to come across this video sooner. I was SO UNEDUCATED. I didn't really know CHS existed until a few days ago. Then I randomly got a stomach bug. I puked 3 times and it was HORRIBLE to me because I have emetophobia. I didn't know it was a stomach bug at first so I thought I might have CHS because I literally saw a video of ASAP science the day before about it. Eventually I didn't and was very grateful because I was looking up people's personal experiences with it and it was heartbreaking to hear. I always wanted to use weed in a spiritual way but it has to be done in that way I guess. I honestly thought smoking 4 times a week was healthy but I apparently need to clean out my system more. I really didn't know. THANK YOU! 🙏🏻 now I'm finally fully motivated to take that break because in some way I kinda wanted to step out of a comfort zone again 😊 (btw still no judgement towards people who smoke more often! ❤️ You do what feels right for you!)
40 year user. When I stop after using daily it takes 90 days to piss clean. Did six months with out. started back in March. I went though a natural high big time after 30 day without. Maybe its the ADHD but the energy oh my. I seem to all ways go back to the jolly Green ✌
I'm day 40 into quitting after being an all day everyday smoker for 20 years. My whole body is just aching in pain most days even still . Joints, muscles, etc. many of my withdrawal symptoms have gone or gotten much better , but the body pain is still there . Anybody else experience these types of symptoms after this much time ? I also have had these idiopathic hives and swollen hands off and on recently . Ive never had an allergic reaction in my life but Im assuming no coincidence that my first ones have been during quitting for this long for the first time ever. I was tommy chong of smokers. All day every single day . abusing it really badly . My body just has no idea what is going on it seems . Im praying this will end as its a lot of suffering and Ive been to the hospital 4 times now. had tests done for Inflammatory markers , like RArthritis etc , everything was normal . Im assuming my body just has lived with cannabis so much for so long that its way out of wack and needs a lot longer time to get back into balance than the average person . even though tests show nothing , I still worry and wonder how the heck can cannabis cause such extreme symptoms , but than again all day every single day for 20 years , maybe only 40 days without just isnt long enough . the doctor , not that they would really know , he said 6 weeks minimum until I would feel normal . Any long term Tommy Chong esque users out there who quit and experienced 2 month long withdrawal or more ? Any people with similar experiences would greatly ease my worries and allow me to believe that this is just withdrawal .
Hey man, body aches are normal cause you are used to being less inflamed, I’d suggest changing your diet to a anti-inflammatory diet while you are quitting and the aches and pains will go away or atleast be lessened. I’d just do a quick google search for some anti-inflammatory diets
@@manta9745 thanks for the response , I've actually started into an animal based diet just a couple days ago for that very reason. I've been having some odd immune responses getting hives and pains all over and itchy skin. I was actually on a Paleo type diet before but ate a lot if vegetables which I didn't realize can be highly Inflammatory for some people. Now I'm shifting to mostly meat and fruit ,per a animal based diet . Hopefully it will work out .
@@billygoatballs426 your comment was 2 months ago, I was just curious how are you doing? I am Chronically ill and am trying to take a tolerance break but I rely on it for pain relief. That's how I ended up here looking up tolerance breaks.
20 years everyday is a very looong time. If you do something regularly for that long and stop it affects you specially mentaly. Its the same with everything. People you see everyday, your job, your afternoon tea and so on. I would imagine its just a mental thing and you miss it. Ofcourse it will pass but in your case it might take extremely long. For example I feel normal after day 10. But I do take breaks and do sports for years regularly. So I imagine its easier for me. Also I dont smoke but vaporise.
@@susza89 it's been a long time now and I feel quite normal now. It was an unbelievable withdrawal and it took a very long time to go away but eventually it did. I've certainly learned that the withdrawal is completely impacted by the length and consistency of usage. For me it was horrible because I smoked daily numerous times per day for twenty years. If you occasionally smoke I'm sure that quitting probably isn't that difficult. I had withdrawal symptoms most people would not believe. For me marijuana is just anxiety and depression. When I quit it's even worse for a long time. But after horrible awful months of mental and physical problems from quitting I feel normal and never really think about it. It's just not part of me or my life anymore. It's a prison Im no longer in that I thought I d never get out of .
You should also talk about moderation. If someone vapes .1-.2 grams of weed a day they don’t need a tolerance break. The more you consume the more side effects you have, if you have one sesh a day you will get as high every time and tolerance won’t increase.
Tolerance brakes work but u should only smoke on the weekends i smoke a gram on the weekend half gram on Saturday and half on Sunday as long as you don't smoke Monday through Friday the taste and sensation well be amazing 🤩
@@listenup9322 I was watching explained on Netflix and they said the average thc prior to the 90s was 3% and now I get why people were able to make joints because I'm on the medical program and get 27-33% in PA at the dispensary. I can't imagine making a joint out of that because one that's way to much thc in a single go and it would cost way to much to have enough weed to properly make one. I use a vape pen and flower and am trying to take a tolerance break.
I went to bed at normal time 1am. I am on day 9 of my sobriety and woke up at 5am wide awake. I smelled something bad that I could not find in my home. About a month and 2 weeks in Crave it everyday Like a lot My high score is 1 year no weed I craved every day Being on it sucks Being off it is painful Having trouble discerning if I should keep off it Or moderate :/
I stopped and already lost like 6-8lbs in 3 days because I am not hungry at all and feeling nausea but losing fat will release the stored thc😅 funny to think about that
Im getting pretty pissed off, a few months ago, I took a 2 day tolerance and got high. Recently I took a 10 day tolerance break but feel nothing tf. Weed is an amazing drug, and it sucks that there is something called tolerance
i’ve taken tolerance breaks before and they are a scam. you’ll get high the first time you smoke, maybe the first couple of days, after that ur tolerance just shoots right back up
you have to take a couple months off to get ur brain back to normal you have to live a sober life for a while to get used to being sober I would say atleast 6-8 months tolerance break then after you smoke your tolerance won’t build up so quick like it would if you would 3-4 days isn’t nothing ur brain is still used to it

Hey thats better then what I was going to say . I was going to say Doc reminds me of butthead from Beavis and butthead. It’s all fun and games No disrespect just making an observation
The cool thing about taking tolerance breaks is that the longer you’re on one, the more you become addicted on the break lol. After a while, you’ll start to question even going back to using.
for me it hard, I have to stop smoking weed for my trucking driving job and what I am away from weed, I get vivid dream about me smoking weed with urges me to smoke but than i take control of my urges.
