Thank you for the videos! I have been enjoying them ! I have been having problems with the texture of my cotton candy... the best way I can describe it is that after spun is almost stringy not fluffy! I’m thinking there is moisture in the sugar base, how do I dry out the sugar floss?

It is possible that your sugar is too moist for your machine, or that your floss has too much oil based flavoring. If it is the first case, and it is a small batch you could spread the sugar floss out on a baking sheet and heat at a low temperature in the oven to assist in drying. If it is the second case diluting your floss with extra plain sugar may be helpful. What machine and what brand of floss are you using?

I have been trying to make my own sugar floss and I have a carnival king cotton candy machine. I bet it is too much oil flavoring !! I will experiment and let you know! 😊

Cool cart. Two questions. How did you attach angle brackets to the cart, and what is thickness of the plastic. Thinking between 1/8" and 1/4" might be right.

We counter sunk rivets into the angle iron at multiple spots The thickness is 1/4" Thanks!

Gold Medal Whirlwind is my favorite commercial size machine for making high volume amounts of cotton candy.

How did you attach the plastic to the metal and what did you use to cut the plastic? I want to create my own as well.

We cut the plastic with a table saw. We attached the plastic using rivets to get a flush look although screws would work as well.

Hello 🤗 my question has to do with cotton candy art, I'm trying to learn how to make Characters and animals but can you tell me what to use for the Eyes and mouth? I have been watching videos but none of them really say what they use for the face.

I would recommend edible wafer paper. Either purchase in black sheets and cut out your shapes for the faces, or purchase pre-cut from someone on Etsy.

I think I’d add a extension cord to the front bottom rack. That way you can go under bottom of lower rack and come out the back side. Would look clean to customers! Just my Opinion and super excited to get into this adventure!!🎉

Acrylic (plexiglass) comes in virtually every color. If you have a manufacturer locally, go down to their location and see if you can by some odds and ends pieces. It will save you a lot of money!

www.tapplastics.com/ sells the plastic although a bit pricey. If you can find a place locally to you that sells off cuts or scour ebay for off cuts you can get a better deal. Thanks!
