As a fellow poor, I agree. I like when jokes punch up. I like comeuppance.. I like cocky fucks getting slapped around a little. Tom and co are kinda like the cocky dude at the UFC weigh ins who get mauled in the ring. I'm here to watch the mauling.
Yea he was kinda sorta a little bit funny for the first 5 minutes he came on the scene, but pretty quickly just became....eh....ok I guess, but I wouldn't pay money or pass up something better to use my time listening to him. I wouldn't say his comedy is completely horrible, but eh...its not really that great either, pretty bland. I don't understand why he's as popular as he is.
i like their stuff they area just voicing the opinion of everyone but that podCringe guy just reaches every time hes video are just hit piece after another that doesnt make sense he made video on Ricky Gervais new special called it preachy while it was good enough special while Daves new special was absolute horrid i laughed very very little and forced myself to watch that and that dud praised that hot garbage called it better than Ricky's special these Pod commentary channels are just bitter fans going para social crazy @@Betty-Boop809
Burt just wants his friends to like him and unfortunately his friends are shitty, I’m sure if he found different friends he’d be more like able and im not even much of a fan
The ironic truth is, even if Bert is more delusional and rediculous he's overall nicer to people. His biggest drawback was alcoholism, I've been there and done that. I know what it's like to say things you don't want to and have things said about you.
Bert is forever that college fratboy. He just wants to party, have fun, be the center of attention, and make others laugh so they'll like him. He might get selfish, he might get delusional, but I don't think anyone ever believes his intentions are malicious.
Bert and Tom are a great concept that I have found in my life and who I choose to be in theirs and why. Some people comes off as likeable but probably a worse person, the other comes off as probably a better person but less likeable.
Comedians- "Im so honest, i keep it real, theres nothing fake about me" Also Comedians- "Cut that out, Bleep that name out, Shut down RU-vid comedy critics channels"
As a business owner or breadwinner, you cannot risk as much liability as you could when you were a solo act. You can try, but when it's more than your individual livelihood at stake or it gets towards the millions in monies... not really worthwhile. It does require proper adaptation tho, of which YMH Studios is failing and why it deserves criticism. However, as long as there's honesty, the slight edits and casual omissions to dodge liabilities in general is fine. Two basic examples: - Bleeping a rando's or celeb's name? I'd likely never know who tf it is and kinda don't care if I do, but I still find their childlike giddiness over it entertaining; and - Consistently honest about their lifestyles, in full or part? Unless their entire act/podcast/career is 100% made-up, there's gotta be some TMI moments even if the style requires some exaggerations or they need to protect their others' privacy. But just like rockstars and other celebs, comedians just aren't dying relatively young anymore - their lifestyles are changing too.
@@spktrspktr3111then I guess there are no real comedians who are famous. Bc most of them are babies. Not Chappell or Ricky Gervais but the rest. And no I don’t count joe as a comedian lol
As a comedy nerd I went through a period where I felt like I was being gaslighted by RU-vid and the comedy scene. "What do you mean you don't find these guys hilarious? Look at all these views and engagement, they are GENIUSES". Thank you for your videos, they are a service to the community.
@@Sameold87 Man, I cannot imagine being this lame. Do you actually think "liberal" is a burn? No one is offended or anything, you aren't even close to interesting enough to be edgy. It just seems pathetic. Really, just so sad to be like this. Liberals are pretty lame but they'll never have anything on you types.
Yeah I think Nadav was the glue of YMH. His channel is excellent now so I’m happy for Nadav, I wish him success. I think he was honestly good at telling Tom his ideas may suck, because he’s been releasing absolute crap since he has left. YMH is now Yes Man’s House, nobody pushes back on the almighty, pull yourself up by the boot straps Segura.
I guess I’m the only one who thinks this but nadav feels like he copied this guys channel to do puff pieces for the pods. They needed an inside man out there to combat these narratives and off nadav went. He’s too close to these people to be neutral and critical. The guy who runs this channel is obviously hard biased toward Rogan, but he’s not friends with them and actually is able to sometimes be critical.
Same here, exact same personality that will give you the shirt off their back if they could but always made sure they got something out of it even if you don’t think they did 🤣 He was a frat guy who was friends with legit the whole school with plugs for everything.
I feel like people answer Bert’s calls because he’s usually calling with a job offer, whereas Tom is probably just calling to kill some time on his podcasts
Not just that, Garth being more famous or rich is relevant ....I think it's because his fans JUST WOULDNT GET IT. I doubt they enjoy the type of humor these guys have
It shows the unbelievable narcissistic ignorance of Tom. To think one of the biggest mega superstars would ever come in his little comedy podcast is just wild.
Joe was dead wrong on that, really tryna give Tom and Christina the benefit of the doubt when in reality what bert said was 100% valid, Garth has absolutely nothing to gain by going on the 2 bears no matter how "nice" tom and Christina are, use your head.
@@lukim2744 Its actually absurd that someone like joe doesnt have the business sense to understand that unless garth is a fan of tom or christina, which he obviously isnt, there is no reason he would ever go on the podcast. Hes one of the biggest musical acts in the world, he would barely benefit from going on joes podcast.
As someone who used to enjoy both these guys and grew to find them annoying rather quickly, I've definitely felt Bert has been more tolerable in the content I've seen of him as of late. Tom feels condescending even when he's not trying to be it's unsettling. .
I think Bert is starting to see himself in Tom now and realizing how much of an idiot he looked. He’s starting to humble himself which makes me happy as hell man cuz I love Bert but Bert will be always be bert unless he changes.
@@trusttheprocess5618I just can’t stand people cutting people off on a consistent basis. Where Everytime you talk to them there is a 99.99 percent chance that he’s gonna fuck over what you’re gonna say to say nothing in return. It’s one of the biggest traits that children have. A child will but in, yell, be aggressive while speaking use a louder tone…. They talk like that cause they haven’t learned to not interrupt people. He’s like 100 years old and still does this while knowingly doing it.
@idefinitelytapped7396 there's still a difference between a character flaw of incessantly interrupting people and genuinely thinking you're above everyone else. Bert 100% saw the light about a year ago and is at least somewhat aware how out of touch him and his friends have become.
Every internet person that gets an army of trolls to go after other people eventually has those same trolls turn on them and troll everything they try to do. The rare actual poetic justice occurrences. It happened to both Opie and Anthony and they were one of the first to do it
I’m convinced Bobby Kelly was trolling the hell out of Tom by acting dumb and saying he knows nothing about Tom and how he’s never heard a bad thing about him 😂 he was definitely showcasing Tom struggling to come up with something humble to say lol
21:42 That's a great point I never thought about. Segura trying to be exactly like Rogan but Kreischer is actually doing way more to help other stand ups like Joe.
@@memoryhero No one's perfect, but of all these multi-millionaire comedians, he sure seems to have the most realistic view of how absurd our society is in terms of the wealth gap, while the others seem to think they're just among the worthy in what they perceive to be a meritocracy.
@@segura9how successful is your life? Can’t imagine very if you’re running damage control for a millionaire who has never heard of you in the RU-vid comments, on an account named after him.
@putnam-he2swthat's what is sad. I think it's even worse. He is jealous of Joe Rogan and hates having to perform comedy for his fans at this point. He should fade away relatively soon tbh.
just a thought, dont start throwing your blow up money at this, because this format is working perfectly fine. no need to go all YMH studios with your channel. no new lights, or cameras or whatever.. just keep it this basic, ride the tide, and cash in.
Right, the fact these ARENA selling show comedians, do care a lot about 2 RU-vid channels that aren’t even close to 500,000 followers. Sad part on them. Can use these videos to change and make there lives better. Joe got lucky being able to be host of disturbing show, Fear Factor, to really help amp his name up. Never really thought young Joe stand up was ever funny. He got lucky for Fear Factor then being an announcer for the UFC. His “comedy acts” are boring and looks like me trying to be funny, laughing at my own jokes
@@bd1zzlecool story. Everyone knows Joe isn’t a great comedian. UFC and his podcast is the main reason he’s famous. You’re not saying some revelation when you think Joe is a mid comedian. Everyone knows that
Spot on. You nailed it. I never thought I’d stop watching YMH. But if we’re being honest , the copyright striking, getting less funny and more sensitive - 🙄 it’s not even worth watching . You can’t troll people and not be able to handle getting trolled . Bert is right but they’re all just mid and boring anymore. It’s one big circle jerk of them appearing on each others shit lol .
i think the most annoying part of ymh these days is the weird shit they claim they're going to do, like tom's hair plugs or his dick injections that really derail the conversations. at least they don't have nikki glazer on anymore though.
Remember when they all used to make fun of talk shows and how they all have the same famous guests just trying to promote whatever their new shit is? Now look what they’ve become… lol
@@bryanlouro140 they used to point out how bonkers wealthy people's behavior was (like when the McAfee guy getting shat on). now they wanna parttake in the odd behavior.
Ppl are surprised by Bert's awareness. I am not. He always wore his emotions on his sleeve. Like it or love it, ppl like that always know what the temperature is around them. You need at least one friend in the group like that. Keeps everyone one else grounded. If you are paying attention.
Segura started using the “hate from” meme from instagram comments. It’s made all negative comments now come across as an inside joke. It’s pretty clever on his behalf; it’s not going to work, but it’s clever. Been watching you since 20k subs, congrats on the growth man. Been cool to watch you and 2lazy blow up.
It's a desperate cope. He's reminding me of Homelander from "the boys" All that power; all that fame.. But his weakness is people not liking him. He's hurt. He thought he could buy friendship like Rogan does but he lost most of his fandom along the way.
My dad used to tell me as a child in the late 80’s to have some manners and don’t call people poor because it’s very rude and bad.. not realizing we were very poor ourselves. We coukdnt be Tom Segura fans back then.
What’s crazy is that it took Garth’s people so long to start blocking people. That was always the obvious solution from their perspective, not going on YMH to get clowned more lol
He really was always a great guy who’s done a lot for the fans and traditionally tried to make a space for his fans wherever he goes. Even back in the 90’s he was always known for this. It doesn’t surprise me he tried to keep it open for his fans and have faith this guy would know when to end the joke and stop joking about it with his podcast, but it just becomes too much. The fact they eventually had to is really telling about how bad it was.
No one else think this video was super pointless? It was just unedited clips from podcasts, rambling, conjecture and he even quoted a random Reddit comment at one point as implied evidence of his point.
I absolutely love that they went after you because it validates your work and it exposes them as soft little soy boys at the end of the day. The whole image of these free speech warriors is shattered. Things are changing because of channels like yours
I think we’re just seeing Tom for who he always was dudes a trust fund kid who got over weight and was funny he thinks he solved the secret of life but trashed the fans that put him into that position what a narcissist
Uuummm....Dude - the trainer crying was a joke. All the guys talking about how great it was to work for Tom was sarcasm. The one guy was saying he didn't get paid, that Tom paid him in experience - joke, get it?
I think these channels are bad for standup comedy, personally. It just feels like I’m watching people over analyze every word and move any said comedian says or does. Comedy is an art and I think it’s unrealistic to expect every painting a painter makes to be spectacular. Then when you add the podcast aspect you have comedians with way too much airtime for people like yourself to go through and nitpick every moment that isn’t funny or isn’t appealing to their character, them as human beings. Every comic is different. Everyone has a different sense of humor, but channels like this seem to speak in such definitive terms when it comes to what is or isn’t funny and tries to convince anybody who does enjoy those comics to stop. I just find it weird. Nothing in this video about Tom is egregious. Also around the 23-24 minute mark you said he just shows up for the paycheck and leaves. These comics are there to tell jokes. They show up, tell jokes, leave. That’s normally it for them haha. He also had a huge documentary about his tour and showed like the 200th stop on the tour or something where he spent a shit ton of money on the production for the crowd with fireworks and all. Idk, seems to be a market for this content though. So more power to ya.
You know you don’t have to watch, right? These are public entertainers acting entitled but their worse crime is that they’re not funny. If accountability bothers you, put on their podcasts and be happy.
@@mattheww9656 again, you’re just somebody trying to definitively say what is or isn’t funny. Which is frankly, stupid. I always liked Bert's honesty. When he annoys me I simply watch something else. He's far from being the funniest out there but I never felt like he's a bad person. I can't say the same for Tom tho...
This isn’t exactly breaking news, tom and bert have always been completely transparent and honest. Tom has anger issues and hates people and bert wants the world to love him as much as he loves himself - more or less their words.

I'm not a comedy slob but nothing disappoints me more than finding out Tom Segura became super successful with stunning podcast views, stunning money and shows and deals. Oh, no, I don't mean I'm sad for *him*. Good for him, personally, good. What really hurts is knowing that way wayyyyy too many people love dumbfukc comedy, have easily-satisfied standards, love mediocrity and its not even that, in itself, but they REWARD that. Way too many people are rewarding that comedy :(

Na, Bert still sucks more. I can imagine if I was stranded on a boat for 24 hours with Tom we could have a laugh until we were saved. With Bert, I'd jump overboard after 10 minutes even if I could see the helicopter coming.
the comment about the difference between bert and tom's shows is so true. they toured Aus last year about a month apart, shows couldnt be more different. tom just got in, read some lines and bounced. bert put on an actual show, went well over, sent everyone home happy and feeling like they got a bit extra. really enjoying these videos man, keep it up
The thing I like about ur channel in comparison to 2lazy and podcast cringe is you keep ur comments straight down the middle and try ur best not to be too bias. It’s a fair analysis and commentary and I respect that.
Imagine claiming that someone youve literally never met, and know literally nothing about that didnt come from performative content that they "arent accepting reality" Thats beyond arrogant and borders on narcissistic.
Bruh. The whole self made documentary by Tom was a long ass joke. Everyone was in on it. It seems you might not quite understand the level that Tom will go to make what he deems funny.
Fans "feeling bad about themselves" vs. "Not enjoying the topic" about money subjects are two completely different things......so the question is what was the main issue actually about
I don't even like the guy, but Garth Brooks is an all-time top record sales artist. We're talking the stratosphere of The Beatles, Elvis, Michael Jackson, Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles, etc. He is in an upper echelon of entertainers where people like Segura don't exist. People will be talking about Garth Brooks in 25 years, and NO ONE will be talking about Segura, or probably anyone else around him, except Rogan. Segura is INCONSEQUENTIAL to Garth Brooks and his body of work.
