When they talked about how she will ask him about other girls bodies in the gym (butt, arms) and pointing out two girls kissing in the hotel, it sounds to me more like she would rather point it out and be apart of it instead of him noticing or looking and her feeling hurt about it. I could be wrong. It’s just I’ve heard woman tell me that all the time, and they always say it’s because of wanting to protect their true feelings.

A part of being in a healthy relationship is accepting the inevitable. But, listening to Tom and Lisa it does appear to be a little forced. The flip side of being an intellectual is knowing what to say so that you don't "appear" to be a certain way. Women look at each others bodies and compare themselves, so when a woman points out assets on another woman, she likely does it because she knows you're going to look anyway. And that is her way of accepting the facts. It has little to do with having zero jealousy. Especially when you admitted its a feature you like and it's something she lacks. Just my opinion.

What i see here is Lisa head over heels over one guy. What tom says is what most men say when they are in a relationship. But how the woman receives that is the difference in Lisa. I want to know more about why she felt that way, what did she read growing up that made tom the one above all other men. I want to know whether she put herself out there before hand

Mind you that Tom doesn't just say it. He does it. I don't know if that info helps...

You say at the end that your partner should make you feel secure. My wife doesn't think that's her job, what should I do?

Where do you draw the line from noticing attractive people to purposely putting it in the other persons face, when the other partner has voiced it hurts them?

Im sorry...but sometimes you two are trying so hard to have a good relationship , that ignoring normal feelings and trying to make everything "ok"....you both will hit a wall. A little bit of jealousy is normal...and is part of a healthy relationship. Without fear of losing someone, you will quit trying. I wish you both the best...love your program, don't get me wrong.....but sometimes try too hard to shove real emotions down.

Shall I say...try to make everything too logical...instead of from the heart.

Wow! How could they have missed such an important point. A healthy relationship has all the elements of our emotions .nobody can chop and chisel them out of the equation to fit the narrative of the head.

Jealousy and fear of losing someone are two different things in my mind. Jealousy stems from insecurity, which is something that you should work to quell. The fear of losing someone stems from love. The things they're saying to work on (not ignore) are things that don't benefit you as a person. Then again, everything is subjective and there's no single right way to look at things.

I don’t think it’s true women’s desirability goes down with time. Honestly I know a lot more balding, beer belly, weak men than I do energetic, fit classy aging women. 🤷🏼‍♀️ sure they have a shorter window for kids but everything else... I meannn lol. Its an odd stereotype that I actually don’t see

Same here. I keep hearing about it but all the older women in my life are still getting some so I don’t know what the issue is. 😂

I was just thinking, women get pregnant earlier than men lol. Its all a false belief that men are more beautiful in age. A certain type of young women is attractive to older men, but this is often for different reasons.$ Wrinkles are by the way beautiful due to the natural expression of reality. I'm going to cherish my wrinkles! Peace! 😍

I get what he was referring to; when I met my husband I was HOT and could stop traffic. My hubby wasn’t HOT; he was average but had high value skills and I loved that he pursued his passion (it didn’t make him much money at the time). 16 years later; I don’t stop traffic like I used to but I have aged well …..and my hubby who was once average has really grown into his looks and owns his own business and is highly respected by his male peers……women half my age are always smiling and giggling at him now….where 16 years ago I was the only one smiling at him. I choose him when I was at my peak and now he chooses me while he is at his peak.
