I think for me the major issue is for 5 people sitting comfortably, again it depends on your family size.I have a kushaq i met with an severe accident believe me its, we were all safe not even a single scratch, life cannot be bought back at any cost.I would recommend safety cars.please dont compare it with maruti, Hyundai or kia.
It's bizzare, not getting resale value in the market while ride quality is top notch. Beating it's segment(tin ka dabba). And tin ka dabba is getting best resale value.🤔🤔🤔
thats the mindset of Indian buyers. They still don't consider safety. They value shiny looking interior more than the shell, engine reliability and quality. Skoda is giving unmached 4 years/ 1lakh km warranty on manufacturing, 3 years warranty on paint, 6 years on antirust. Can any other brand in the same price range attempt that?
If selling the car was so difficult and there were other problems then why you purchased the same brand car again? Genuinely asking this question for better understanding.
If a person buys 4 yr service package, then service cost should not be an issue, right? Regarding resale value, platforms like Spinny/Cars24 are giving good price for this car, then is resale an issue?
Service Value Package is like dil ko dilasa dena.. it just covers the major services.. even the regular checkup that happens, like at 7500 before 15000 km service, if your car needs engine oil, they will charge for it as well.. so basically you might just pay at once to the company, or at every service, it'll remain the same, might just have a difference of few thousands and that's it.
@Tarun Nair i just checked on spinny, taigun 2021 gt was offered at 18.53 lakhs. If spinny is selling at that price, u as an owner can easily expect around 17. Which is less than waht u would get for a topline creta in year or 2 but not a day and night difference
I’ve vw virtus, manual 2nd top model. I bought it right when it was launched. The car is very smooth, doesn’t have any issues and gives 16 mileage on highway and 10-12 in the city. 3 people can accommodate comfortably on the back seat. I’ve previously used ciaz, s cross and xuv 500.. if you’re willing to spend more than 20 lakh, vw virtus top model is definitely worth buying ( GT Dsg )
@@6365bharathClutch in VW/Skoda cars is something which always has been hard and has a long travel too, I have a Polo 2012 TDI which also has a hard clutch and has a long travel.
Don't buy XUV. Currently, Mahindra has a lot of waiting, they're doing their best to produce cars fast, this is causing the product quality to fall. XUV and Scorpio N have multitudes of issues, and both the dealers, and the service staff don't really care about you because they have a huge number of customers ready to buy their cars. Now, negatives of Virtus GT: 1. It's a 4 seater. 2. It's too low, so elderly and obese people might not be comfortable. 3. DSG gearbox is awkward at slow speeds, and might not be reliable in heavy traffic. If you have good city roads, buy city instead. If the roads aren't that good, consider Virtus, if you have to seat 5 passengers, or you have to drive on very bad roads, buy XUV.
I would say don't go with XUV cause the demand is more and supply is less which cause a mess around Mahindra and easily find defects because of fast production . If you really want to feel the German engines , build quality , ride quality and ofcourse those hitech function then go for virtus . Cons of virtus are : little uncomfortable for 5 people but excellent for long journey with 4 person , Slightly issue with dsg in traffic . Pros of virtus : Topnotch build quality , safest sedan with latin nacap 5 star , fastest and the most aggressive engine under 30 lacs . Or either you want more comfort or classy design then go for slavia , do note virtus is designed for a sports oriented looking car while slavia is more classical and simplified. Ultimately choice is yours
Koi Kharcha nahi aata bhai. Service Maintenance packages are offered by companies. Those days are gone when this was a myth. Plus nothing above safety of family.
There are too many strong buyers and they happily buy this car and don't care about resale value. Honestly bro I am also buying this car. Paisa h to fark ni padta bus product acha chahiye.
When you pointed out on 30 negative points, I made my decision this is not my car. Cant just pay 21 lakhs for engine. Better get 2nd hand BWMs for enjoyment of speed.
Bhai resale Abhi inke naye gadiyon ka kehna mushkil hai kyuki inko market mai zyada time hua nahi aake 4-5 saal jab ye gadi pura kar lenge tab shayad better ho jaye resale inke
Till now I own a VW Jetta 2016 Model and it has never ever disappointed me. The company never forces you to buy their car, it is the buyers choice for their car and is non comparable to Hyundai & Kia whether in terms of Safety, Driving pleasure, Quality etc. If selling the car was so difficult and there were other problems then why you purchased the same brand car again?
ya creta or seltos send you to top heaven in a major accident while vm skoda you will go to a hospital for second life... creata or seltos are tin boxes with airbags..
creta sells through gimmicks and a lack of real competition, skoda and vw cars are not a good option either. Waiting for honda to save us from korean garbage🫥
@@cringie.troddrage8014 Honda is crawling in dead pace. They have been saying to launch SUV since 15 years yet they didn't. I have lost faith in Honda India. Don't waste time waiting for Honda.
@@cringie.troddrage8014 you must be a Honda fan boy. I was also but not anymore. Because they don't have any line up which I can choose from so end up buying other brands and I don't dream of Honda anymore not even for future as you know they are just wasting Honda fans' time. Time is precious, no time to waste time.
I had booked Skoda Kushaq during pre-bookings and cancelled 20 mins after the launch of the car and booked Jeep compass. Interior quality was so bad and many basic features were missing. Taigun is still better looking car from inside.
@@jeetmukherjee9 Jeep’s parts are very high quality and imported from USA. People who cant afford Jeep should stick to Maruti only. Internet is full of issues in VW cars not Jeep.
Bhai dekho resale mana ki kam hai of this type of car like VW AND SKODA but apko kuch toh paise milenge zero toh nhi milenge aur yeh gadi ki time to time service kra hoge toh koi problem nhi aane wali baki it depends upon you ki aap kaise gadi chal teh ho
I am a fan of VW/Skoda and love driving dynamics of it, waited for long to buy Kushaq/Taigun, but due to poor interior quality when compared to rapid/vento and lack of rear comfort for three people, costly higher variants of 1Ltr engine had to switch over to Creta. Also somewhere resale factor was back in mind. But anyway would prefer electric version of VW's if in future it comes. Let's see
Again I think it's 30% better interior quality (creta) vs 60% better stability, better driving dynamics and better safety (taigun/Kushaq).... Price difference is somewhere between 40 to 50k and I think this difference is justified for higher safety, stability, performance and dynamics.
Test drove the Ambition and Highline. Cost of both in Mumbai is almost 18 lacs. Both variants have just 2 airbags, no push button ignition key, Skoda touch screen reduced from 10 inches to 8 inches. Basic features like these not given. Cars are a beast. Ridiculous power.
@@PragyaGuleriaa Great man. Did you buy the car? How's the experience so far? I am planning to visit the showroom this weekend for 1.0 AT. Hopefully, I can get a similar deal
Buy a car based on individual requirements...For ride quality and safety and better service (costly),wv is the only choice in low price range ....Tata have safety but car quality need improvement and service centres are like govt offices but available at even in small cities.. If u need a reliable engine at low cost maintenance, and safety is not so important Suzuki is the best choice Hundai engine are more refined and service centres are plenty, but no safety (Matters only when driving mostly in hiways)... Nissan , Renault are good ,less models available....honda also same
Bro you missed mahindra... safety, driving, seating comfort, resale, service, cabin, all are there...scorpio n or xuv700...what are your thoughts on this?
@@kabirleo46 Safety is good ....but engine is not refined (except Alturas) ......Price is slightly higher.... Driving is super in xuv700 ....2 nd row seat is not comfortable for family.....
u mean jisko knowledge nai hai vo deserve nai krta acha product use krna...............seekh jayega sb jb lega koi bh sikha sikhaya nai paida hota. Plus jaha tk rahi baat kharche ki i dnt agree with u whn u. I have 2 VW frp cars and when we compare the cost of servicing it was already at par wth other desi kattas since they get serviced at 10k and VW grp services at 15k so the 3-4k cost diff u told gets covered easily there. Also due to 95% localization part cost is now somewhat similar to other desi kattas. Bro I feel other brand cars are not VFM since they dnt provide u with anythng xcpt features and gimicks. They lack equipment esp the one other brand u talked abt serves 20 lakh car weighing well over 1300kgs w/o a damm turbo thats severe cost cutting and fooling of our fellow indians. If we keep promoting those cars the day is not far whn VW grp will also exit india jst like othr awsm brands Fiat Ford Chevy etc and people like u and me will have no other option but to buy tin cans 😁
@@saini3840 read it again and got your point. However, what do you say about space in back seat ? Everything else is good. ADAS and back seat space concerns me.
@@priyanshuchoudhary8319 back seat space is only marginally bttr in othr cars still u cant seat 3 ppl comfortably and their wheelbase is less so u have to sacrifice on legroom in other cars. Bro we r talking abt cars in a segment whr to get one thing we need to sacrifice other things. Its ur choice u can opt for under-engineered korean/ japnese products and get huge list of features or u can opt for a car with excellent engineering with driving dynamics and engine comparable to cars even one segment above.
Put it in Olx enthusiasts would buy it for good amount 😅. Car dealers won’t give good prices especially for other branded cars. And don’t forget india 2.0 cars are less expensive to maintain. There is no other enthusiastic brands in India except vw and skoda. So enthusiasts won’t be disappointed for resales and mileage features etc..
@@pranjalsharma479 he is making this video for viewers purpose. Not for selling it. A real enthusiast can’t sell easily these kind of machines. They are buying it to enjoy driving.
@@nvf007 if he was really enjoying it , he wouldn't have made this video , just read the video title .The indian car market is full of tin cans and no fun cars for us commoners. VW is struggling and Ford left even after making a crossover which handled better than any hatchback. Just fancy names thats it. India is just a status driven market If my neighbour has bigger alloys i need bigger , not thinking will it make your car much better. No One one side they want mileage even after spending over 15 lakh And on the other cheap alloys and plastic spoilers Just ricers and squids or just say ameer chapri
honestly taigun and kushaq look like a large hatch than a SUV. Infact slavia and virtus look bigger. Can't be compared with creta and seltos. Based on road presence and overall size its more comparable to venue, sonet, brezza
That's just the difference of the platform. Creata, Seltos, Taigun, Kushaq, Elevate, all are C1 segment Compact SUVs And Nexon, Sonet is lower segment.
@@rishabh_singal Yes I unserstand that. Only saying that Taigun and Kushaq's dimensions don't justify the segment they belong to. Infact on paper the difference is not much but in flesh the difference is significant. Exact opposite are Slavia and Virtus which look longer and better looking than the competitors and have tremendous road presence and space.
@@huntrz If only dimemsions are concerned, they have the longest wheelbase in segment BUT yes they are on the narrow side. Ground clearance is good too. I just wanna say that its good to get building a far better platform than just looking huge. In this context, you can take example of Jeep compass and meridian too, they look smaller than its counterparts and yes Sedans always have the best legspace, posture and comfort.
@@rishabh_singal dear, why are you trying to defend. It is what it is. Every car has its USP. Space or size is not the usp of this one. Also just because others score on space doesnt make them inferior platforms, they may have better value for money, better FE, superior ride or reliability. Platform is only as useful as the car buit on it. Hyundai for example is often mocked for handling, poor high speed ride and safety ratings but they produce one of the most refined and reliable engines excellent ride at city speeds. Despite light weight and being build for developing markets etios and City fared better in crash tests than inhouse tata and mahindra made with loads of steel, at that point of time. I did fall for this european styling and handling crap when I was young and as mentioned in the video ended up buying after "listening to heart", an unreliable european car that was sold for peanuts after just 7 years. Cars we own don't have to be the best.
I've 2011 Skoda Fabia 1.2 ltr and many people have been asking to sell them this car even though I don't want to they have given me their numbers if in future I want to sell they will be ready.. yes driver's do love skoda and Volkswagen
car must safe guard people. It is not for some cosmetics/feature. VW / Skoda provides excellent safe cars. Quality comes with price tag. If you want to lose your life with small accident which happen due to others mistake go for other brand. If you want to still survive and see what happend to car then go for VW/SKODA. I have my old punto which is tank. FYI i have lost my friends who were using swift/baleno cars in accident. So choose safety instead of mileage. Maintenance cost high but worth to pay who safe guard your life.
Bhai saab 180mm ka ground clearance bala suv type body ka gari lena hai to phir notch back saloon car kyu na le... Tigun, kushaq, Breeza ,venue ye sub sale Indian car buyar ko Bebkuf bana rahe hai, .....aur hum bun rahe hai....

I am the Owner of Polo 1.2L 3CyL TDI. Driven 1.75L KMS. Heavyly maintained car. It runs like a jet. 10 year Old, still competing with Seltos , Creta at higher speeds.
Bhai Punjab me service centre itni door nhi hai jitna Tum bol rahe ho....... Amritsar, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Patiala, Bhatinda, Pathankot, Hoshiarpur, Mohali, Chandigarh har jagah VW Skoda ke service centres hai..... Kisi bhi shehar ya gaon se 50-60 km se door nhi hai service centre
Totally agree with you on all points , it's not a creta or XUV competitor it's a affordable alternative of audi , bmw and Porsche in terms of drivability Just one thing which I would like to add from my side is it's not a cheap alternative it's an affordable alternative
They also apply estimation charges (Rs. 8900 + GST) which is just for the estimate that you've to pay in case your claim is rejected. Haven't heard any such charges ever.
Mostly people purchase VW keep it minimum 10years. It require annual maintenance where as all Japanese Korean vehicles are half yearly maintenance. When compared the two time cost VW maintenance is not costly. People go for a VW type vehicle they
Bruh the thing is spinny would have quoted or given not more than 14 lacs for the seller person, and when spinny sells it they sell for the price as you have said above
