Wiccan/Pagan Veiling Tutorial 

I am a Wiccan and have started veiling in the last two months. I too have faced horrible instances with people negative reactions. I've had men, women and even children shout abuse, stare with mouths wide open (rudely I might add) and actually follow me around wether that's security in stores or strangers on the street. My family is concerned but I have to follow what I believe in. I won't let ignorant people control my dress, because next it's our lives they control! So if you're reading this and you also veil, don't fear and be proud! I don't tell anyone my religion either. Ive always been drawn to veiling. I recently decided to start veiling, only removing it during holidays, doing spells, talking to deities, etc, just to protect my energy. Thank you for the tutorial! Veiling brings me so much joy. Blessed be!

I wear a veil all the time regardless of the occasion. I start veiling because of the Godess Hestia also because I admire the Arab Culture. I find it attractive and feminine. I feel less Masculine and mkre feminine.

Personally, I veil because I’m an empath and it dampers the effects that big crowds have on me which also gives me a kind of feeling of peace and serenity.however I still in the same house as my parents so whenever I’m out with them with veiling I usually wear something like a bandanna or like a beanie however if I am somewhere without my parents or my family I will be wearing a nicer scarf.

I've always been drawn to the practice of covering my head, it makes me feel more sacred. I never knew this was actually a "thing" witches formally incorporate into ritual. (I usually wear mine in profane space, in order to deepen my connection with the Gods outside the circle.)

I'm a Hellenic Polytheist and have been looking into veiling for some time. I wanted to veil to show my devotion to my gods and my faith. I've been scouring the internet for any other Pagans who also veil and loved your video. So true about the time of year and what you can find, in terms of types and colours of scarves. I've been looking for any solid-colour scarf, whether long or infinity (I don't yet have a preference) and can't find any. I'm not a big fan of patterns. Keep doing what you're doing, especially if it makes you happy and helps you feel closer to the God and Goddess! Many blessings to you!

Within the past year I have begun veiling for my Matron, Hestia, but I've yet to wear it out in public. When leaving my home I usually use something like a hat or flower crown as a veiling alternative; I've grown my veil collection, however, and I'm hoping I'll soon grow the courage to veil outside of my home

Hello fellow veiling pagan!! I love your moon broach, and I somehow never even thought of wearing a specific scarf for the moon phases (how did I not think of that?!) I personally prefer the straight scarf, just always had difficulty with infinities. I use the Jewish traditional tichel style, but love the Muslim hijab style in the winter. I find both very user friendly for all day wear and movement. I'm inspired to do a video for you...let's be veiling buddies! (hope that doesn't sound too weird..)

Currently researching about women and head scarves, veiling, head wraps out of interest. Scarves are a beautiful way of self-expression and it attracts me very much. It would be lovely to hear you speak more on this.

I really want to veil but I guess I dont have the confidence for it. I've only ever did it once. And it was cause I was in a car and it was windy ,but I honestly really loved it. I'm scared to start because of the people I'm around on the regular at work and what not.ive recently started practicing with Hestia and feel like it would be a nice offering to her.

I am pagan and I am male and for some reason I've always been interested by the whole history or women veiling do you know if any men veil or were something on there heads like a hat

I've just gotten a black infinity scarf in the mail. It was bigger than I expected, which upset me at first but now I think I like it! And I feel so more peaceful! It looks a bit sloppy but baby steps, baby steps . . .

I veil everyday and everywhere even in my home, this was a better way to wrap my veil thank you!

I recommend use hijab magnets or pins under my chin work the best to keep it in place it I’m doing a veil that’s fully covering my hair

You should try this new form of veiling they've been doing, where instead of a cloth, they just use a paper bag with holes cut out for the eyes.

The good news is that God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son Jesus Christ To die on the cross for our sins. Whoever believes in their heart that Jesus Christ died on the cross, rose again on the 3rd day and confesses with their mouth and heart that Jesus Christ is Lord will be saved!
