Tanks can be 4-players, actually. I call it Tanks Chicken. One person is the gunner with the Wii Remote. And the other person is the pilot with the nunchuk. It gets pretty insane.
Huh... you know I've never thought about trying to play a Wii game with one person holding the remote and one person holding the nunchuck. Shoot, I gotta try this!
I remember the Fishing have by far the worst controls in the game. Even Pool wasn't that bad if you centered yourself with the sensor bar. Tanks was godly though.
Imagine them and another LPer doing a LP of Left 4 Dead. I know they mostly play Nintendo games, but Emile said he has an Xbox. So, either they play it at his house, or all of them have Xboxes and play somewhere. I can imagine Emile will play as Zoey, Tim will play as Louis, Jon will play as Bill, and *insert other LPer here* will be stuck with Francis.
The gameplay is solid and it's more challenging than most of the stuff you'll find in a game store today. A lot of the jokes are Japanese and don't always translate well, but the premise is good.
11:58 I like how Tim pushes Captain Falcon and he gets mad and then Captain Falcon pushes Tim, he just gets sad. Like "Awwww, how could you do that to me? I was just playing. That was mean. ;(" LOL
Wii Fit would probably work, although it'd probably have to have a second screen overlay that shows what's going on in the room; I imagine Chuggaa wouldn't have too much trouble with that, since he knows how to do such overlays for LPs that involve DS games.
A brown tank shot at Tim. And he died!? On the first stage! XD Ok now that's hilarious given that brown tanks rarely fire at you. Poor Tim. Not sure if that is the same in multiplayer.
Fishing didn't feel that bad for me though. I remember being able to get well over 1500 points every time I played, although the fact that you can "steal" the fish the other players was about to catch kinda helped a lot with that (just turned into a reaction game once both hooks were in the same place in the water)
Mines can explode by being hit by anything the timer going off and someone going on it Dark brown tanks are like light brown they can only shoot missles but the they are stationary Light brown tanks are normal Green tanks shoot faster missles Yellow.tanks can use mines and shoot Red tanks missles bounce off thing more than once
fun fact, Tanks! has 100 stages. takes at least an hour to beat em all, and theres only like 20-25 different stages. it reuses stages and just gives you different tank setups to kill a bunch.
In table tennis the power shot is activated when one person hits it late, causing it to fly up slowly to the other side, and then when the other person hits it, then it becomes a power shot.
You have to remember that this game also came with a second controller. So people who just purchased a wii could have a few more mini games to supplement wii sports as well as have their second controller for $50. It wasn't so much the cheaply made games that helped it sell so well, its the fact that having a game + a controller for the price of a game that helped sell it.
You're thinking of dark green ones. Stationary, but they shoot rockets that bounce off walls twice, as opposed to the teal ones who's don't bounce and yours that bounce off walls once.
Almost forgot. The silver ones that you're thinking of are on the last level. They move and shoot bullets like yours, they don't lay down mines, and they turn invisible as soon as you can move.
I think the issue with the remotes could be because they are too close to the censor, I think you have to be about ½ -1 meter away from the censor for it to work probably.
2006!?!? Tanks is a game that dates back to 1977! It was a launch title for the Atari 2600, that's how old it is! (It was called Combat and didn't have any AI or motion controls though.) Though I'd love to see you guys LP it.
The fishing game is my second-favorite game (behind Tanks). It works perfectly fine for me, and I go back to it just for fun. Same goes for Billiards; no problems ever. My dad kicked ass at that game; he loved it and got the platinum medal (Yes, there are medals when you play alone). It seems like your setup is the real problem here, Guys. Also surprised you never noticed that the characters get smaller as they lose unless you go back to the main menu.
Am I the only one who seriously wants a Runawayguys Sitcom............Imagine it. "Coming this summer. One's a Wise-cracking innocent guy with the heart of gold. One's the wizened Let's Player with Toilet Humour to go around And the other is the smart, normal guy with his strength to keep the group falling into anarchy. The Runaway Guys!
