Fishy Friends! Welcome to King Salmon, a tiny little village nestled on the banks of the Naknek River. And what else to do here at this amazing spot than fishing and cooking?
In Alaska you find five distinct species of wild salmon: chum, pink, sockeye, coho, and king. They are all wild, natural and sustainable! The king salmon, also known locally as Chinook, is known for its exceptional fat content, texture, and flavor. Nothing beats the true king! Its texture is silky smooth, and the taste is so damn good! I was lucky enough to prepare it in this video and I loved it!
So get ready for Taco Time! When cooking the salmon - which can easily be replaced with any other salmon variety you find - make sure not to overcook it. You want the salmon to be juicy and perfect!
