I am a 4th generation stave mill and saw miller from Tennessee. I am coming up there when it warms up this summer. I gotta see that anchor. Make sure Donnie has some of them donuts at the Jefferson Scoop. They will go good with some ice cream. Thanks for the wonderful content. I saw the trip last year. That anchor is an amazing part of Maine"s History! My daughter is into the metal detecting on land and in the water but she's never found anything that big! You guys are too funny. I just love these trips of yours.

That is really awesome! Its nice when history speaks. I love finding things like that on adventures. Rainy lake / koochiching county and surrounding counties in northern Minnesota has a long logging history. I have also found boom rings driven into the rock in the BWCAW particularily on Ima Lake. Great find!

Awesome video Joe! I don’t blame Donne for wanting to put that paddle on the wall That is one Beautiful paddle. I would love to join you guys next year it would be a blast and would love to hear some of Donne’s stores. Too spend a few days up in the north Maine woods is on my bucket list and to spend it with you guys would be over the top! It’s definitely going to be one of my goals for next year as long my health stays good.
