Filmed at Holkham Park in Norfolk, in late autumn. It shows the fallow deer as they search for sweet chestnuts and acorns in the surrounding woodland. The sound of a buzzard can be heard as it circles above the tree tops and attracts the attention of the local Jackdaws.
It was recorded in 4K at 25fps using a Panasonic Fz330 and Panasonic G7 with Lumix 100-400 lens. Some of the shots were resized in post-production and a few clips were adjusted but the majority of footage is unaltered.
Holkham Hall is a privately owned estate on the North Norfolk coastline and is open to the public. The park, woodland and surrounding grounds cover about 3,000 acres. They have a large herd of fallow deer which can easily be seen wondering the park and adjacent woodlands. I highly recommend a visit.
