Welcome to Discover Nature a collection videos on wildlife, wild places and the beauty of the natural world around us. Over the following months I plan share with you some of the highlights and I hope that you enjoy watching them as much as I did filming them.
"And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. Genesis 1:20! I'm in love with JESUS... (our soon coming King)!... 'All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made.' John 1:3!
If you just ask me to choose under a blind test with names like camera A, B, and C. I will give you the asking that camera A produce the best result. Unless Camera B and C is significantly cheaper than Camera A, there is no doubt that I will buy camera A. Turn out that I am all wrong. Camera A is actually the FZ-82 which is the cheapest one on Amazon! Thank you very much for your testing.
Kudos to Panasonic Lumix... these are great cameras. I think the FZ series is oustanding. I hope yo could review the FZ1000. It is like the FZ300 but with a bigger sensor (1" if i remember well)
Thank you, for such a beautiful videos, they are so inspiring, the colors are so picturesque . Do you use any flat profiles for filming, nd or cpl filters? How much time you spend for color grading and filming in average.
For taking strictly video, of guitar playing / music videos, would you recommend the G7, FZ300 or a go pro style? Audio will be recorded seperately. Great video, btw. Just for info, I have never owned a camera or edited video before.
These tests are awesome thank you! You have these cameras dialled in your nature videos are so nice, crisp footage always! I’ve shot a great deal of my work on the G7, GH4 and G80 and the functionality of Panasonic cameras alone are a huge selling point, but the pricing really sets them apart. I see there’s little need for you to shoot in 1080p for your line of work but given the time you have spent with these cameras can you comment on the quality of the videos from the FZ80 compared to the FZ2000? I need a camera with slow motion and I don’t know if the FZ80 will cut it at 60fps with its low bitrate of 28mbps compared to the FZ2000 with 120fps and high bitrate of 100mbps. FZ2000 obviously a clear winner however nearly 3 times the price of the FZ80! Hope you can offer your advice, the camera will be needed for filming surfers, mostly at the beach at a minimum of 400mm zoom range. Cheers, Joel.
OH MY GOD THIS IS SO LOVELY it's been about 5 years since i've seen this video first time, and even now it's one of my faves! it's so relaxing omg and I love birds so much
Thank you for your lovely comments. They remind me why I started this channel, which was to share with other people the beauty of nature and the wildlife around us. So, it is really nice to hear how much you enjoyed it.
Really can't tell much difference between each... some people will be able to, but the average joe blow wouldn't... all cameras have great 4K footage... my camera is the TZ80, and I was quite surprised at how it stacks up against the other big name cameras
I have a G7. I'm not a professional photographer, just an enthusiast. Honestly I'd much rather buy the FZ80/82 than a long range lens. Great video comparison!
I hope your getting on okay with your FZ82. Apologies for not replying. On the FZ82 the optical range of the zoom changes with the aspect ratio of the image. So, if the camera is set to take 4:3 photos the zoom range will be 20-1200mm. If it is recording a 16:9 video it will be 28-1680mm.
@@DiscoverNature Oh I see ! I only took photos at the moment and not much because of the weather but thanks for replying. I love your videos btw, really beautiful composition.
Wish they had kept the FZ80 at 16MP and simply added the 4K, touch, etc.., just that bump from the FZ70s 16MP to 18MP really hurt it ..detail here isn't bad but noise and artifacts in pics certainly are. If noise could be cleaned up then it could be as good or even ever-so-slightly better than the 300.
For a smaller sensor ..the FZ300 with a combo of 12MP, bright/sharp f/2.8 lens and somewhat decent in-cam processing, along with all it's other features(4K, touch, etc..,) is a well positioned camera and delivers well here.
The fz1000 is a big camera even for an adult to hold. A camera like Panasonic Fz330 would be better, it has all the features of the more expensive cameras and it is smaller. You could consider a Nikon B500 which is very similar but should be less expensive. Even smaller is the Panasonic TZ70 compact, they still have all of the features anyone will need, has an incredible zoom, image stabilisation, but maybe not quite as robust, but can be slipped into a pocket.
