Wears bridal attire to her daughter's wedding, tells her daughter to dress plainly so she can upstage her, gives her daughter vague insults so she never knows exactly what's wrong, she just knows that her mom disapproves; gives her daughter anxiety, insults her in the one dress that makes her look beautiful, then fakes illness to garner sympathy and stop people from being mad at her. Poor girl. I hope she's able to get distance from her mom once she's married because this kind of parent will happily destroy their child if they think it will make them feel better.

@@Ysmir. Very obviously to everyone else ever in the room with the mum how she is critical & controlling (& doesn't let her daughter be her own person or at least have her own mind/opinion.) Do you not see how the mother probably influenced her to get the other dress she didn't really want and make her think she did... or that she seems...let's say not capable of voicing her own opinion (if in disagreement) with her mothers strong personality ok so you have seen the mother dissuade her daughter from something she actually likes, right? Well like that but in reverse... the girl probably is afraid or not confident enough to speak up, speak her mind or have her own opinions, keeps deferring to the mum... And not until the mother left did the girls personality and sense of humour start to come out... which was nice

I mean, POSSIBLY she didn't actually mean it in a nasty way, or as bad as how it came across, but it could have been said differently somehow, a bit less critically, maybe... as the dress WAS very likely gorgeous on the beautiful original bride, (same thing with the other girl and her "too lacy" dress,) but just not so much on her, so she didn't like it as much, but still should have had consideration for the sellers feelings when they're right in front of them, since they had positive associations/attatchments to the dress they are willing to part with

Natalie mum paid for a dress that she loved. Daughter is not happy with the dress that's why she is buying another one. That would not have happened if mother was not a manipulative control freak like that. No one deserves these kinda mothers.
