I’ve had a Superskin (G4SS for those interested) for almost a decade now and I used it daily for a little more than half that time. I don’t have the same concerns about stiffness, in fact I think I’ve had the opposite experience. When I used my buddy’s full leather 1786, I immediately noticed how floppy and shapeless it felt in comparison. I think after significant use, the extra weight of the leather amplifies the “floppy” feeling. Whether or not that’s a good thing probably lies in the eyes of the user.

You should really try Rico custom gloves there really good and last for a good while, I've had mine for almost 4 years now and it still is in really great shape.

I have about 40 gloves. Half A2K, half Pro Preferred and one A2000 Jon Lester, nice glove it is, definately would buy another. I do have one Spin Control 1775 A2K. Wilson asd ASO are really pushing the Super Skin. Aso appears hurt Super Skin is not taking well. It is like the guitar comapnies pushing relic guitars as genuine. Nothing is going to be better than nature made leather. This engineered fake leather is not for me. Absolutely thank you for the video. I would not like the loose glove at all. I can not even stand a colored wang for the strings as they are loose out of the box and less tensile strenth and get way loose way faster than brown wang over use. My Jon Lester I took the black wang strings out and did a complete redo wang job with brown stiff wang. A2000 is now a super awesome glove and brown wang stiffened it up right away out of the box. I did it before I broke it in. Thank you so much for the video. I will not waste any energy on the thinking about the Super Skin or about trying one. I had a feeling it was going to be flimsy loose. For players that like the loose gloves it would be good. I am not one of them. I like a glove to be like a fine tool, nice and tight. I bet in really hot weather it gets even more loose and gets hot in the hand.

Stay away from superskin, yikes! Too soft and fexable after using the glove for one year straight in a high school Spring season, then a Summer travel ball season, then going right into Fall and Winter training to the Dominican Republic for five months. Playing & training full time baseball. Maybe for the weekend warrior it's fine? But not a full time serious player.....
