Whay we don't see plenty Willt stories?? BEC WILT SAYING the truth... MJ lies,,,, WHAY we don't see Kobe, and we see Lebron... whay we hear about Magic, and Bird but no Dr-J Magic and Bird have only HOFplayers in his team...
What he said is true a lot of guys on championship teams have done nothing but Michael Jordan did everything. The majority of it all Wilt Chamberlain is a bad motherfucker. I think him versus Michael and his prime would be one. Damn good match.
No it wouldn’t wilt is 7 ft tall Mike 6’6 wilt should dominate him lol shit not even a fair match up wilt put up great stats but wasn’t a winner he got what 2 rings ? Should’ve had like 8 he has more L’s in the finals then lebron
He’s right. Jordan even said himself he never played against Wilt, Kareem, West and others. So he would never put himself above them because it’s disrespectful
Those of us that were fortunate enough to actually watch the 60s and 70s games can tell you firsthand..... if you play dirty against Wilt Chamberlain you won't be in the game long. In an honest game Chamberlain would make Michael look like a rookie. You don't see the whole game if you're just watching it on TV
The NBA changed the rules so Wilt Chamberlain wouldn’t be so dominant Later on the NBA also changed some rules so MJ COULD be more dominant/ effective in his style of play. The NBA was/ is trying to market the game globally and MJ was/ is their poster child. PS Nothing but respect for “Wilt the Stilt” aka “The Big Dipper” still an MJ fan Finally moving toward the REAL G.O.A.T. Conversation Refreshing
Could you elaborate on what the NBA specifically did to “help” MJ. The only rule change made that would’ve helped during his time playing was the flagrant foul rule. At the time it was a brawl between Milwaukee & Boston which really broke the camel’s back. Now in 1987 they brought in a rule many called the Jordan rule to stop teams loading up on one side to create iso situations for guys like Jordan.
@@spunterage so-called "Superstar calls" started with Michael Jordan. There are plenty of examples of Michael driving and getting free throws even though nobody touched him
What rules specifically mate? Because if you look at the history of NBA rule changes the only thing that lines up to Jordan’s playing career and a rule that’d benefit him is the flagrant foul rule. During his retirements they definitely made rules to benefit offensive players. So I’d be interested in knowing what rules exactly you’re referring to.
@@spunterage,zone defense was made illegal and hand checking are 2 rule changes made to eliminate the Jordan Rules, that Detroit introduced and controlled MJs with.
They changed the rules to make it HARDER for Wilt they changed the game to make it easier for Mike! And Bill Russell has 12 rings! Wilt was a PHENOMENAL ATHLETIC SPECIMEN!!
Did they? Which rules exactly? What changes did they make specifically to help Jordan other than the flagrant foul rule in 88. In 87 they tried to make it harder for him with the anti-iso rule that outlawed teams loading up on one side.
@@danielhorner216 mj played against all shorter guards. The guards that was his height joined his team. All with the same skill set. Harper, Jordan, pippen. That left only Clyde Drexler to stop them. Penny busted mj ass when healthy, Grant Hill did the same. But that was at the end of his run so wilt has a great case in this debate.
The true greats will never admit they’re the greatest of all time. They know to leave that opinion to the public. Lebron could learn a thing or two from that kind of humility
One thing is they did try and stop MJ when they introduced what was known around the league as the Jordan Rule in 1987. It was designed to stop teams from being able to move to one side of the court leaving a guy in an iso situation.
@@spunterage Oh i'm just talking about MJ's best PPG season is 37 and Wilt just did better for 6 seasons. Just have a look on NBA records you won't see much off Michael Jordan.
Obviously not because he spent his prime years statchasing instead of getting his HOF teammates more involved. If he was more of a team player in the early and mid 60s he would have more rings and he would flex it.
Wilt Chamberlain was so good so dominant but yet you walked out the game with only two rings 7 foot one playing up against 6 foot 5 6 foot seven guys. And You couldn’t do shit when the playoff came
People talk about rings, and then when someone mention role players with more rings they scramble to put more filters to talk about GOAT 😂😂😂😂 Funnier than any comics out there
What rules were those? Rules that you can't clothes line someone while they're going up for a dunk, Nobody was nobody was f******With the celtics or the pistons they just played dirty especially the pistons they were the worst In fact? That was the only way for them to stop michael
I mean wilt your 7’1 mikes 6’6 of course in a one on one u should win doesn’t mean u the best u were a underachiever u put up great stats but didn’t amount to winning like Kareem and bill Russel
THANK YOU, Wilt! A lot of ‘90s fans won’t agree (because they are Bullsh*#)! Never understood the game from a player or team perspective (only as a fan)! However, LA, Detroit, Boston, Philadelphia, New York and Houston , although, having great individuals on their teams, played team ball for titles!
The NBA did change the game against Wilt to make it harder for him to score. Just like the PGA sactioned Golf Courses were changed (Tiger Proofed) to make it harder for Tiger Woods to score and win golf championships. Both athletes litrally changed their sports. That is why Wilt Chamberlain was the GOAT of his age. Just like Micheal was the GOAT of his age. They weren't the GOAT of eachother age--that's not fair to the players, because they didn't play together in eachother's age. So this talking head isn't being realistic, much less fair.
Never mind wilt, even bill would fuck up mj. He may not have that much offense that it be interesting to see mj stop bill dunk. Plus bill's mind games. He not only strategize physically, he would also fuck you up mentally and psychologically. And remember, bill has higher vertical than wilt and is equal in athleticism if not in strength.
Yes a team game, jordan cant win championship without a team mates. Jordan did everything that is why he has two 3 feat... Wilt speaks with no basis as well, he doesnt even know what he is talking..envious with jordan probably
" You would've had to have had Wilt against Michael ! My prime and his prime? How much money would you be willing to bet?" He saying a lot right there! I consider MJ my 🐐 because that's my era.
Wilt didn't play against the talent that players after him did. Just like Bill Russell. He won a lot of championships buy there were only 11 teams back then. Wilt and Russell were both great. But the league was at a very early stage back then.
BS CHAMBERLAIN RIP CONNIE HAWKINS RIP THE BADDEST BALLER EVER SEEN AND HE COPIED ELGIN BAYLOR RIP GAME SO DID DR.J..... PUT CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE!!!! JB.ok
I can't take Wilt serious with this because he play in the air when there was legitimately only two teams you had to worry about the Celtics and the Lakers and he still couldn't get a championship until he got with the Lakers and by the way they did start changing the rules in NBA to try to slow down Michael Jordan and for another thing most of the sinners that he played against for like 6 7 6 8 dudes you should dominate when you're 7 2 hell you're not even better than Bill Russell
All of it. Then I would borrow every dime I could get my hands on and bet that too. Mike would destroy him solo or or as part of a team. Pick any other 4 you want. MJ is the goat and it’s not close.
Yes definitely Jordan was the greatest basketball player ever but like Will said if you take that moment in time prime against prime yes Will would probably beat him one-on-one but Will's prime wasn't that long he unfortunately spent his body on sex and drugs with women sex women in drugs and that's what happens You don't you don't play basketball at your peak for long or Jordan was the greatest ever because he focused on basketball the whole time the only thing ever did was had a short foray with gambling and that didn't take much away from his physical skill whereas women late nights and sex and drugs and women and women that'll wear you out wilt so you chose not to be the greatest ever same thing for Shaquille O'Neal everybody knows Shaquille O'Neal was the greatest physical specimen in the history of the world ever nobody can match him but he just didn't care as much about basketball it's what you going to do boy ain't nothing you can do he wasn't the greatest he could have been but he wasn't because he didn't give a darn tooting That's what happens You got to care You got to want to win That's part of being the greatest wilt now you want to be the greatest but you didn't then then you were looking for the hot blonde and you got her so great You got late 20,000 times Great that's not basketball Chief sorry your number two maybe not even number two That's kind of generous considering Bill Russell and several other players of Hakeem olajuwon and some other dudes man so I probably think you're number six Wilt Chamberlain
