Wind Flows - Leeward Mark Rounding Scenario 

This scow racing sailing scenario shows a decision at the leeward mark to either round high and windward of the lead boat or to duck leeward of them. The decision was to duck and the result can be seen in the drone video. Wind tunnel simulations then model what the wind flows might be in this situation.
This drone footage was captured by Rob Hudson de Tarnowsky at Lake Eustis Sailing Club during the Southeastern Regional Regatta 2019.
