There are so many things I love about your videos. The things you repair that are not everyday items. The fact that you make your videos long enough so we don’t get a seizure from all the fast forward of other channels. No annoying music🙄 Plus your filming and editing is getting more and more stellar. And Avril, of course ❤️ Pure joy and entertainment.
@@animekings4990 tysytube, there are 2-3 others that I used to watch but can't remember their channel names. Just doing obnoxious things to try and get views
@@Tom_H694 tysytube is the most overrated puke on RU-vid. I saw him restoring this "old" clock until he opened it to reveal a 1 AA battery movement. It was a Walmart clock with dirt on it. 🤣
You need a lathe! ;-) But it was quite impressive how you used your drill press as a lathe. This machine is very interesting. Asuming that those bottle caps are made of aluminium, this is pretty much a reverse metal spinning machine. Allthough it's not the metal that spins, but the tool. Very impressive. Good job
👋 😐 Hey M.M... If I get a lathe like yours from Amazon, is the shipping free? 👆😏 Betcha they'd hate me if I sent it back a few times. 😗👆 Right before the warranty runs out.
What a magnificent ingenious engineered piece of machinery and then you guys blow our minds away with your attention to detail and methodically renew and it’s so heartwarming to know there are people like yourselves giving your time to make things live again...... Please never stop it’s just sublime to watch THANKYOU
These old machines were sometimes incredibly complex. They had to design with mechanical or steam power only in mind and that took a lot of interacting metal parts. Mark Twain lost all his money investing in a mechanical typesetter (everything was printed then and printed on hand set type - slow process) that was just TOO complex and delicate to ever work properly. It looked like the "Dr. Evil" walking giant spider in the Wild Wild West movie.
Drill press as a lathe - that was awesome! Have to try it myself :) Great job! Never knew they use so sophisticated device for that simple task with wine bottles!
Not only for the satisfaction of seeing a piece of equipment being brought back to life, but it's also fascinating to see the intricacies of how these machines are constructed!
I love these videos cause I like to see old stuff people used to use be restored to see what it looked like when it was new and what it was used for and how it worked, but I’m also learning about new modern tools he’s using to take it apart I’ve never seen before lol
I really enjoy your videos. What a wonderful collection of off-beat items that you seldom see. I laughed when I heard the screech as you threaded the small brass posts. As a retired master machinist I have heard that sound many times and sometimes it doesn't matter what lubricant you use. Great video. Well done, sir.
I just happened upon your video and really enjoyed watching you restore this crimper. Amazing that you know how to do all of that, and do it so well! ♥️🙏🏼♥️
Wonderful work as always. That machine appears to work very well and the capsules get pressed on evenly without wrinkles. Very nice. What an amazing number of parts the machine has. Nice to see your cat joining in on the fun. Thanks for sharing your fine work.
It is SO rewarding to see these pieces of historic machinery be revitalized and brought back to life. They definitely don’t design and make ’em the way they used to!
Very beautiful...so much patience and very detailed work after like a year i am watching this restoration because i find it really well and nicely done ...
I know this video is a year old, but I just gotta say, I love how you do as much of it as you can by hand, making the restoration process just that more genuine of how much work and effort you put into each video.
I always appreciate the easy going way you deal with these restorations and the innovative ways you approach dismantling issues. And Avril of course - ! 🤗
Wow!!! Fantastic as always! What kind of solid rubber tubing and glue did you use for the belt? That is SUPER impressive glue!!! Your addition of the staple was genius to ensure it will work for an additional many years to come!
I love the way he disassembles every component in the antique, the way he shows that he really appreciates and is very careful with it. greetings from Indonesian🇮🇩
Your skills are so impressive. The restoration was really fabulous. You making some parts for it was very impressive . I really enjoy watching your videos. They are extremely calming to me. You have a beautiful cat too.
What a machine! I'm glad you show most of your projects in action afterwards, they are so special that only from looking at it the function isn't clear! Merci, mes amis! :-D
Yes, THIS. So many "restorers" just throw away the old wood parts without even considering their beauty, or replace parts that could easily be saved. It drives me nuts. The cracks and wear on old wooden parts are a big part of what makes them look used and beautiful.
That sandblasting is SO satisfying to watch! You do lovely and inspiring work. All that just to squeeze the metal onto a wine bottle? It makes me giggle. 😄😍
I am eager to watch your every video...your tool selection and working is super. The way you do your job is awesome....their is magic in your hands. Love and blessings to you and your lovely cat
oh god, that working with brass noise! They told me as I got older I wouldn't be able to hear high-pitched noises, but the working brass sound even blasts through my old man ears! great restoration otherwise, beautiful.
Starting to look like you're going to start making wine with all the items you've done and restored so far. lol Looks great and new once again. Looking forward to what you are going to restore next!! Enjoyed your video and I gave it a Thumbs Up
Saludos a Avril 😽 miau
