There are so many things I love about your videos. The things you repair that are not everyday items. The fact that you make your videos long enough so we don’t get a seizure from all the fast forward of other channels. No annoying music🙄 Plus your filming and editing is getting more and more stellar. And Avril, of course ❤️ Pure joy and entertainment.

You need a lathe! ;-) But it was quite impressive how you used your drill press as a lathe. This machine is very interesting. Asuming that those bottle caps are made of aluminium, this is pretty much a reverse metal spinning machine. Allthough it's not the metal that spins, but the tool. Very impressive. Good job

These old machines were sometimes incredibly complex. They had to design with mechanical or steam power only in mind and that took a lot of interacting metal parts. Mark Twain lost all his money investing in a mechanical typesetter (everything was printed then and printed on hand set type - slow process) that was just TOO complex and delicate to ever work properly. It looked like the "Dr. Evil" walking giant spider in the Wild Wild West movie.
