Seen winger in the 80's I remember my buddy's made fun me for liking winger, this is and always be a kick ass band, the shit that's on the radio these days don't even come close,
Winger sold millions of albums worldwide, they toured a few countries around the world, they are real music artists that sing real music, this is real music, they are one of the greatest rock music groups in music history worldwide, this is one of the greeatest rock music songs in music history worldwide, this song was a big number one rock music hit and a top 50 hit on the Billboard music charts here in the United States that became an even bigger top 40 hit worldwide, they are the best :)
The band noone wants to admit they like! :0) Really, a very talented bunch of guys. Very solid rhythm section, vocals that aren't overdone or "boring", and tasteful guitar playing and solos. One of my favorites in the "hair metal" genre.
Reminds me of my first car,.A Plymouth Satelite,.Smashed that into a huge dumpster behind a grocery store and me and my best friend went through the windshield,.Man that was fun!
Used to know a girl named SHERRY GRAY@ MONARCH PARK Secondary.. back in high school ,and man was I HUNGRY! Nicest girl from front or behind you ever saw! Cheers
What is unfortunate about this is that later, Kip Winger's fiancee was killed in an auto accident. I remember him mentioning this in an interview several years after this was made. I wonder if he ever thought this video was prophetic.
I didn't know Winger had great songs other than sixteen, easy come easy go. It's a shame how record executives classify their artists as one genre, instead of allowing them to grow
@NYBloodyArrow7400 I noticed that in another of their videos and it was a live concert all smiling and happy... all just looked sooo happy to be out there playing....absolutely thrilled doing what they loved and looked great doing it... the premature breakup was sad. Great band. BYW.... to whomever that was... the Ibanez? great axe... my son plays and will play nothing else..... I'm sure he wishes he had one named after him...:)
@yesfreak73: Now, those are either low-profile mens' jockeys, as first modeled by DLR in VH's "Jump" vid. Or they're stitched that way; hard to tell. Layers, Euro-cut clothing, silver, bright-ass colors and accessories back then were all going on at the same time.
After all these years I still can't stand it when the camera breaks away from Kip to feature the couple...we don't wanna see them...we want more Kip prancing all around with his guitar in front of the fire and on top of the CAR!!
@guitarkidlespaul I disagree, although talented and technical guitar players from the 80's, seems there is no soul or feeling behind alot of it. There are exceptions for example slash from guns-n-roses. Don't get me wrong some of it was great, but not enough, backtrack a bit and you'll see what i mean.
@TolitoGangster Don't get carried away, you're not even close, but I did like Winger, they were pretty good, got a bad rep from Beavis and Butthead, but don't over sell them.
One of the weaker ones off that great first album. A little too poppy for me. But still good. I think their first record would have been even better if they eliminated all the keyboards.
