How do you connect and charge the batteries when running in parallel? Do you need a separate battery management system? Or can the inverters change the batteries

Hello Keith, I want to upgrade my inverter and batteries. I am told the 8kw inverter for my home is the way to go, however I thinking that 2 x 5kw inverter is best, the reason being if one inverter has a problem I can still continue with the other. From Cape Town, South Africa.
