The girl from Sierra Burgess and the girl from The Kissing Booth together. What was anyone expecting?

She is embarrassed by her dad dumpster diving but then proceeds to draw more attention by going over and getting mad at him. Logic.

I think this movie confuses "gorey" with "scary".

Decent idea, terrible execution.

One of the (minor) things I hate about this movie is how the bullies make a photo of the rotting girl, then POST IT ONLINE and then go around collecting money for her. If they really cared about her then taking that photo in the first place and then posting it online seems pretty out of character. Or they're not actually her friends and enjoy every single bit of it as well and then start collecting money for whatever reason.

This really has nothing to do with the movie, but that girl's nose irks me.

As much as I like Joey King, this movie was such a disappointment. SPOILERS! One thing in particular that stuck out for me was when the friend's cousin dies as a result of Wish #4. The deal behind the music box was supposed to be that when she makes a wish, someone close to her dies? Well, she only met the friend's cousin ONCE, and didn't really connect to her then, so how is that someone close to her?

“I wish that every wish going forward requires no sacrifice at all” *Credits roll*

I actually burst out laughing at the final scene of the girl getting absolutely YEETED by a car. Also, the only death that was sad instead of stupid was the dog.

I actually kinda like the premise of this movie, a teenager finding a mystical item that kills people and slowly drives them insane and become protective of the mystical item in question......... Wait, that's Death Note

I thought the twist to these sort of stories was that the wish granting thing grants the wishes but twists them to the worst degree, usually by taking the wording too literally(“I wish i was happier” and being cursed to be always happy) or by taking it to its worst logical conclusion (like wishing, “I wish I was good at swimming “, and then being turned into a fish) NOT that if you make a wish you get what you want but someone randomly dies Final Destination style

This review was 1000% better than the movie. Thank you.

Let's take a moment to appreciate the fact that, apparently, literally rotting doesn't seem to hurt and leaves you with plenty of focus to take a selfie. Not like this should be so incredibly, devastatingly painful that it should leave you frothing from the mouth in fetal position, hoping for someone to come along with the biggest syringe of morphine known to man. Necrosis is the closest you can realistically get to rotting away and by all accounts it is one of the most painful things that can happen to you. But nah, just peel that sock away and scream for the camera.

Man, I knew I'd seen that puffy lips girl in another terrible movie recently, of course! In goddamn Slender Man of all movies, so she's the go-to actress for crappy horror movies now or what? JLongbone, you're so hilarious girl

Wait a minute, if the wishbox is in Chinese, then how is it able to understand and grant wishes coming from an American person who speaks English? Wouldn't it make more sense if it was only able to grant wishes if they were spoken in Chinese?

I loved the part where it's spelled out for her that making wishes will result in someones death, but she keeps making pointless wishes and acts surprised people die. Same with finding out that the wishers die after making their last wish, she goes on to make wishes until the end and just thinks everything is a-ok

3:44 Well, as a poor teenage white girl myself, I'd like to say that, unless the character is suppose to be an immensely insufferable person, I don't think she'd act like that. Thinking back on my tough times, I'd feel _super_ grateful to receive something as ornate as the magic box.

I feel like all these murders and the way that she kinda acts around him that people don't ask questions. And the murder with the obsessive boyfriend died around her??? She wasn't convicted???!?!!??!?! Or questuonneeddd

We don’t need to see your distractingly in-focus mouth screaming “wazzzzzup” in front of your computer. No painfully exaggerated reactions to the film (going on way too long)...No silly faces at the camera...No high pitched screaming...just some clips from the film that are well edited and filled with witty comments. I know I'm late as hell, but I just realized that she could've "abandoned or sold" the box and have had everything just go back to normal (the Asian chick translates this). But you know, writing. I just double checked. Abandon, lose or sell she says. So doesn't that mean that when red haired chick steals the box everything would go back to normal? NVM. I'm thinking about the movie more than the actual writers did.

It's like they did a really bad job at trying to combine Final Destination with The Butterfly Effect.

if the box's rule is for every wish there is a human sacrifice and the box can just do whatever the person's wishes for, can't you (not the protagonist because she is incompetent) just wish "that for every wish there will be no more human sacrifices or sacrifices at all" then proceed to wish for infinite wishes because now you have a box that has no drawbacks whats so ever or better yet make another wish saying for every wish you make gives you more good luck.

Thinking back on it, Redhead Chick had to steal the box. Fish lips had no trouble continuing to wish on the thing even when she had racked up 5 'mysterious' deaths every time she got good fortune. The girl knew she was on the chopping block. If I was in that situation (I wouldn't because most of my friends would have had a clue at the second body and guessed it at the third), Fish lips would have been lucky if B&E was ALL I did.

You’re a person I’d watch these hokey movies with. Just be warned- I do talk consistently during horrible ones (even when I’m alone).
