They should just name this show; ‘Another episode of Heidi blaming Lauren for everything, not taking accountability, but Spencer could produce storylines, and still blame Lauren when the storyline’s that Spencer produced didn’t go his way.”

Kristen and Stephens podcast is better because 1. They admit when they were wrong 2. They don’t bash anyone 3. They actually go through every scene in order and tell us what went down. I think there’s too many ppl on this podcast it’s nice to see you all together again but just talking about Lauren and the same shit every week isn’t gonna cut it. Specifically break down every scene! You guys started to do that and then Heidi popped on the show and it hasn’t been the same since.

If I were Lauren I would NEVER come on this podcast. The ignorance is so real and it's so sad. This was SO long ago and everyone seems so salty towards her still. She has moved on and has a beautiful family. Let the past be the past. Kristin actually has respect, maybe all of you should learn from Kristin on how to grow and be a better person.

The fact these people are actually shocked that Lauren doesnt want to come on their podcast is very funny😅

In a lot of these circumstances, it really just sounds like Lauren had boundaries, and wasn’t afraid to enforce them. That’s something I always found admirable about Lauren. For better or for worse, she knew who she was, and what she was willing to put up with. She wouldn’t let people walk all over her and wasn’t afraid to call people out and cut people out, even if she loved them. It’s surprisingly rare to encounter people who actually walk the walk and aren’t afraid to stick to their principles, even if it means doing hard things. Truthfully? I’m not shocked many of y’all in that room are still this affected by Lauren to this day. She knew who she was then, and she still knows who she is now, and that is clearly threatening to y’all. If it wasn’t y’all wouldn’t have spent the past handful of episodes on a smear campaign, with zero willingness to address ANY of your own mistakes and missteps. It’s really unbecoming, especially of people pushing 40. Living proof that time doesn’t always allow for perspective.

Heidi just seems unwell in the head. Many years later, here she is still bashing Lauren AND begging for her friendship at the same damn time, make it make sense. She's trying to rewrite the whole order of events to fit the narrative she wants. And wtf she means by Kristin called Lauren out? Both Kristin and Stephen were nice and respectful to her and thats why she went to their podcast. If y'all weren't fake to her in the past and tried not todrag her name through the mud in the present maybe she would be more open to you. Plain and simple

From what I’ve heard on the other podcasts, Lauren & Stephen are still friends so assuming that’s why she went on their podcast. Not because “Kristen called her out” …her and Kristen actually had a really nice conversation that was beautiful to hear! There was no beef, just understanding. Would be nice to see that on this podcast lol.

I get why Lauren had an issue with Jen. She's seems like a liar and doesn't want to own up to the truth. Brody has no reason to lie. They definitely hooked up. And Heidi hooked Jen up with Brody.. 😂

Lauren wasn't the "good girl" they tried to portray her as but neither was anyone else on the show. Its unrealistic to make everything Lauren's fault and not take accountability for your own actions.

It’s so frustrating that no matter the conversation, Heidi will always bring it back to what Lauren did wrong to her. I’m convinced the only reason Heidi is there is to say her side of the story about her friendship breakdown, she never talks about anything else even if the subject has nothing to do with that. You all have no issue blaming production and producers for planting stories and fabricating things, but never give Lauren the benefit of the doubt in regards to that.

Kristin and Stephen have better ratings on their podcasts because they own up to their wrongs and they're completely honest about everything. I understand producers manipulate certain situations to benefit the ratings of the show in its entirety but you guys chose to feed into it. Stop blaming everyone else and be real. And I agree with whoever said Heidi is a mini Spencer.. she used to be a good person and now it's painful to even listen to her speak about these episodes because her reality is so warped

What does Heidi mean by Kristin called Lauren out? Kristin and Stephen were both extremely inviting and loving towards Lauren when she came on. Why would Lauren want to come on this show when people are still making sly comments about her? This aint a safe space 😂

I never heard Kristin “call her out”. All I’ve heard her say is that she wishes Lauren can come on to tell her side or see what the producers were telling her. Lauren watched their show and saw that they don’t bash her, that’s why she went on theirs. She sees Audrina and Heidi bashing her and blaming her for everything, that’s why she won’t come on this podcast… lol

Do y’all know why BTTB podcast has better ratings lol? It’s bc they actually talk about the episode and take accountability. It’s refreshing unlike some of what you all give us. I am saying this with love. This podcast could be amazing if y’all would actually have balanced conversations, take criticism from us, and actually stop making everything about Lauren. She won’t come on bc this isn’t a safe place for her. Who wants to come on with a bunch of people on a mission to tarnish her name.

This show is basically: Lauren = bad. Spencer = Producer. 🤡 I can't wait until they reach out the episodes in season 3 where Heidi and Spencer make nasty jokes about Lauren's alleged sx tape to see what excuses is Heidi going to come out with. Lauren wasn't perfect. But they're trying to re write what we all watched on the show and don't seem to be taking accountability for their own behavior.

Lo only had a falling out with Lauren because of Jen..let’s not forget. Which just goes to show how Lauren gave Jen multiple chances. She was definitely forgiving and had even forgiven Jen after this issue…unsure why Jen can’t seem to recall that.

I am so sorry but this is actually EMBARRASSING to watch. The fact that every single comment is negative is not even a little bit surprising and I whole heartedly agree with EVERYONE who's had something to say. Lauren has not only been on Stephen & Kristen's podcast but she also did Whitney's podcast during covid and they had a super chill chat about everything as well. She's happy to revisit / entertain this whole era of throwing it back to the OG days & commenting on what really went down behind the scenes but for ANY of you to act confused about her not responding to the idea of being on this podcast is ridiculous. WHY WOULD SHE?! As plenty of people have already said, THIS IS NOT A SAFE PALCE. She has absolutely no reason to entertain the idea of sitting down with a single one of you for .6 seconds and disrupt her peace. Brody & Audrina are the only ones I can halfway stomach and watching Jen cut her off when she was getting into the scene AS IT WAS EDITED & SHOWN is too much. Watching Heidi now is like watching a little Spencer. I liked her so much in the first season she was nice , bubbly fun and a good friend. She is very immature and I feel like she hasn’t moved on from The Hills she’s very shady towards Lauren and even towards Audrina as well. As for Jen bunny she’s matured a lot and you can tell she’s truly happy and moved on it clearly shows. I appreciate her not bashing Lauren for cutting her off or being shady and immature like Heidi. I also wished that everyone would go more into detail regarding each episode you skip certain details that I know would make Heidi and or Spencer uncomfortable to discuss.

9:20 how many times does Heidi need to say that this show was from Lauren’s perspective? Yes she was the narrator of the show, but all four main characters (Lauren, Heidi, Audrina, Whitney) we’re shown and viewers could make their own decisions about which characters they liked. I personally enjoyed Heidi in the beginning up until the sex tape rumors. And now watching this podcast I like her even less because I’m seeing that she doesn’t want to own up to anything she did wrong and is blaming everything on Lauren. I wish she understood that her current actions are the reason people don’t like her, not the fact that Lauren was the show’s narrator 15 years ago

Heidi is obsessed with bashing Lauren and it makes these reviews hard to watch. How come other podcasts reviewing the hills can manage to give their reviews without making Lauren the sole topic of conversation? Just talk about how YOU felt at that time and stop trying to speak on how Lauren felt when she isn't there to speak for herself. After watching these reviews, it's so hard to imagine why Heidi and Lauren haven't spoken in years 🙄😂😂😂. Also, please stop talking over each other. It makes it very hard to hear all of what is being said.

This podcast was amazing in the beginning and I was SO excited for it. Now I am tired of all the Lauren bashing! It’s consistent now. Also why are we only hearing from Heidi like 90% of the podcast? I would like to hear more from everyone!!

Something about Heidi and Jen’s story doesn’t add up cause during Lauren and Jen’s argument in a later episode, Jen said that she knew Brody was trying to hook up with her and that’s why Jen was considering it. I mean I guess it wasn’t confirmed that Brody and Jen actually hooked up, but Jen kept saying here she never wanted to hook up with Brody but that’s not what it looked like on the show with or without editing.

I love it that absolutely NONE of us, are buying this bullshit 😂

Ok, the point that none of you are getting is that what was hurtful for Lauren is that all of her friends agreed to "betray her" for a storyline. So she is seeing her best friend agreeing with her new boyfriend to make her look bad, make them fight, make Jen hook up with Brody. Even if they did or not.. its the fact that they all did it while she didnt knew, so ofc she felt betrayed. She was!!!!

Oh… and in no universe would the producers have told Lauren to “walk” over Heidi and Spencer staying 😂 They kept them around to counter Lauren as her star power grew, in a legitimate way, on and off camera.

First of all, I don't believe Heidi when she says that the Hills producers told Lauren to walk. Secondly I wish that Heidi would quit speaking on behalf of Lauren. I totally understand why Lauren wouldn't want anything to do with any of these people other than Frankie.

Can we also just pay attention to the fact that Lauren didn't cut Jen off completely....she just took her mostly off the show AKA payroll lol So really, Lauren attempted to keep a friendship, not a cast-mate. And the friendship died off camera...So clearly, the friendship was not meant to run the course of time...like a lot fo friendships from our childhood/early 20's.

Clearly Jen is traumatized by the whole Brody thing. It’s crazy to see all these people revert back to these events and feelings as if it were yesterday.

I asked the question on Instagram if they asked Jenn to come back for season 3! I asked because she didn’t just film parties - she had coffees separately with Heidi & Lauren and told them that Brody started the sex tape rumours! There was also a season 3 scene when Jenn continually asks Heidi @ coffee if Spencer started the rumours and Heidi asks her why she keeps coming at her like that. Would have loved to hear Brody and Heidi’s thoughts on this!

My question would be how did your contacts work, did you have a certain number of scenes you had to film per week/month and how we’re salary’s negotiated. I think audrina, Brody and Frankie have a good head on their shoulders. Heidi and Jen still act like they’re in high school. Audrina does shift back and forth but I think she’s just trying to not make anyone angry. But I do know Lauren will never come on this pod, it’s way too trashy and hostile lol

Also Lo is still good with Lauren for a reason. Think Heidi and Jen should marinate on what THEY (Not Lauren, Lo, or Jane Doe did) did THEY. Take accountability for once for why that lady cut you off for her own sanity it seems lol.

What's confusing me is for every situation Spencer was trying to create or provoke - he's being called a producer, strategic etc. Then for every situation Lauren is trying to feel comfortable in, she's being called controlling in a cold way? Heidi is absolutely crazy. She’s sitting around acting like her boyfriend wasn’t the most toxic person ever. How can I be friends with you when your boyfriend is a complete psychopath when you become a couple you cannot separate the two and the fact that she’s talking about that Lauren should have still supported her even though my boyfriend is trash just confirmed that she is in a far better place without them as friends this podcast is the complete justification of disgusting and poor behavior like I thought this was going to be more about memories, you know accountability but this a big blame game and how Lauren should still be friends with them anyway. About Lauren; You have a young female pursuing a career that has a code of conduct expected outside of hours and this Rumor that she has a sex tape..I'd be furious if I'm mapping out my life for the future and something like that was being told. That kind of rumor could tarnish her career, her future husbands opinion..And I would be livid if my best friends guy is the one that started it and I truly felt that he did. Then you have Audrina accusing her of being with Justin which was complete nonsense..Any Wonder she's took the Whitney's approach to going forward and never looking back But it did give her a name..like it gave everyone on the show to bank on having her Line at Kohl's and other stores. The Hills had shoppers saying look there's Lauren on a poster and bought her products. It would've been harder to get a deal if she was someone else that's name wasn't already known.

Its good that you are telling your side of the story but the obsession with Lauren is what makes it cringe. Be respectful, learn and grow from it

Lauren forgave and made up with Jen months later. And Jen was in Lauren’s final The Hills scene at her house. Did they never really get their friendship back on track? I understand if they didn’t but it seems that something happened after The Hills for Lauren to truly decide not to be friends with Jen.
