they all ware out eventually thats just the laws of electronics, never had one overheat tho they are built very well and very hard to hurt them.. they just dont like breaking, they are the best 4 ch single blade i have come across
I got 3 1st is the house flyer/Beater V911-2 Now detuning it has made it awesome for house flying ease of use in smaller areas. I do recommend. 2nd is a Pro model factory for outside some indoor not as much as the 1st. 3rd is Factory also for training control in the higher mode.
Yes, that is correct, but with the v911 mode 1 and 2 is a speed control for novices and expert. It dose get confusing, especially when your looking for a mode 1 controller for v911.
Try the pinch method. When you pinch the transmitter sticks, you get a finer control and full throw when you need it. Oh, and you won't break anything either.
Very helpful. Have you thought of dressing it up with a scale body? I am just finishing off my spare V911 with the Nine Eagles Bravo III body. I had to do a bit of cutting here and there to fit and make some adjustment to the CG, but it does look very nice
I would also recommend the New controller that comes with the v912 and v913 a much better controller. You can get a bundle deal with the new controller with the green v911 commander
iam really not a scale body guy other then airwolf and when the money allows iam going to buy one but iam going to go for a large scale with 9 channels of fun.
thanks for the info, but IMO, the problem with the heli is its erratic movement on the rotor on mode 2. i find mode 2 extremely necessary when fighting the wind outdoors trying to get the heli back to me against strong wind. hence we need the fast movement.. i am trying to find a way to slow down the rotational left right movement as a single touch on mode2 with a full battery literally makes the heli go a full round forget about any proper chance of directing it properly
how many flights in the wind have you had ?? mode 2 is for the outdoors mode 1 works well for out doors in very light winds but mode 2 is very fast reacting and its supposed to be very sensitive aka touchy this is not a problem with the heli at all. you have to be very slow on the sticks on mode 2 even bigger helis will react the same way,
KevinMillard68 all this week i've been flying outside for hours and hours, trying to improve my control over the wind. at most cases its ok, even with moderate wind guts heli manages to cope as long as i can kick in mode 2 for short intervals. i've noticed that v911 flies heaps better outdoors with upgraded 200mah batteries.. these are slightly heavier than stock batteries, and give it a bit more resistance to wind. at times when wind seems to win, and i kick in mode 2, is the time that nose down power needed to advance further, i do like this , and it doesnt seem to be out of control, yet the tail rotor goes erratic.. even on mode1 i fine tail rotor to be extremely (and unnecessarily) responsive to a single touch and its very very hard to control. i do make wonders on mode 1, but mode 2 tail rotor control is pretty much impossible.. ive come across some posts here and there stating other remote transmitters that have fine settings for these can be paired with v911 but havent looked into it deeper yet. cheers Glen
Hello Kevin, Great video. It's helpful to see the mod's you did. I got a V911 on Christmas and am having a really tough time getting it to hover. I tried adjusting the mechanical trim as the electronic didn't seem to have enough range however now I'd like to return the mechanical to its' original position and try your mod to make it more docile. Where can I find out what the original mechanical trim should be set at? HELP!!!!
Question for ya! My V911 doesn't really fly as fast going forward anymore, I've tried pitch and still nothing. Do you have any ideas what may be the problem?
+ADENS SKY could be a dirty servo with hair stuck in it or something i never had one go bad on me my self but i can happen try checking for hair or dirt under the servo arms
youll have to check and see if i have one , but i know there is one on youtube for sure. i have no means to do a video for that right now but i would cut the wires where they come out of the tube at the PCB board, just in case you need the extra length if you are changing the motor at the tail it self then cut the wires as close as you can to the dead motor.
hey, i have buyed a new V911 pro. im going from steering mode 4 to mode 2, so now im not the greatest pilot anymore, so wats the best mod to let it fly calm and good for beginners?
i never heard of mode 4 lol , mode 1 throttle on the right mode 2 throttle on the left, and how use beginner mode to fly more slower, shes still pretty hyper either way but alot less in the beginner mode, there is also mode1 slow flying and mode 2 hyper,depends on how you use the terminology on the rc world
I have a problem with my 911, after replacing a broken main rotor the heli vibrates completely out of control, have you experienced anything like that?
KevinMillard68 I rechecked the heli as you suggested and discovered a weight missing from the fly bar, once I replaced the bar life was good again. thanks for your time.

no one has the answer to that, if you over 6 years old you can learn to solder i been into electronics sence i was 8 years old .perhaps if your dad can solder then he can fix it when you break it.
