Here's a neat promo for AM Chicago on WLS Channel 7 featuring Oprah Winfrey and a specially made jingle for her - She's Fun, She's Hip - Everybody Loves Her!
This aired on local Chicago TV in 1985.

The MCCTv (FuzzyMemoriesTV) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit whose primary mission is the preservation and display of off-air, early home videotape recordings (70s to early 80s, mostly) recorded off of TV (in Chicago or other cities now too); things which would likely be lost if not sought out and preserved digitally. This is when the original AM Chicago became the Oprah show. The original host was Rob Weller. I still remember it's theme music.

AM Chicago....I still remember the theme song before the show rebranded itself as The Oprah Show/Oprah.

In 1985, Oprah was the same age i am now. 31. With all due respect, i think she looks younger today.

Also as we now know, studios stylists notoriously did not know how to do black hair and makeup, she most likely had to do it all herself, plus she was not getting any sleep doing a morning show

@@FosterGrayPhoto Because makeup then was baaaaaadddd, the only concealor was pancake goop that did not blend well, they did not use primer then just Ponds cold cream and contouring had not been invented, they slather their face in thick foundation and some blush and 20coats of mascara with one color eyeshow (I grew up watching my mom put on her makeup) also thin eye brows were popular then.

Yeah, like throw a fit because a store won't open just for her on their day closed after she flew there on her private jet. And let's not talk about her schools and the sex traf.. nevermind, let's just leave it at she's a terrible person and had millions duped.
