@@Adam-vp4rf yeah. And I think he won the other two as well. So they tried to show she could “play”, but got beat in the end. Not that she’s bad, but when you Virtue signal that much, you’re bound to get backlash from people who don’t get sucked into that.
No one noticed, when this girl started losing, she pushed him away to start the action from a distant three. Not only does it tell me that she can take into account that she lost to a guy who probably doesn't play regularly. They didn't show the next two games to 7 because they were probably a laughing stock for her.
Homie look like that one uncle at the barbecue asking you to 1v1 saying he could went to the league if it wasn't for that injury and when scoring a bucket says "Aye still got it". Dawg outta shape lmao
He was going at about 30% in this video. I beat our starting women's point guard (D1, conference player of the year) in 1 on 1 with the women's ball. I had never used that before or touched ANY basketball for 3 years so I was super rusty and had no feel as I was lifting heavily at the time while she was coming off her season. I hadn't even tried out for high school JV so I wasn't any good. At 6-3 and 205 I just backed her in to within 10 feet and took hook shots, she couldn't defend me being 5-6. I did hit a 3 to win it. She was unhappy.
Similar story, didn't make my high school team but grew a lot at 18. Was about 6 ft 1 in college and 190-205, could dunk from doing squats a lot. Played a WNBA star who retired and was interviewing to be a coach for the woman's team in 3v3 pick up, she didn't score one bucket on me in 3 games. Granted I was always good on defense and stopped my boy who played D1 the same way when we hooped. I was a late bloomer athletically but I was shocked this woman my height who was a top 10 player in her era was so slow and trash. I scored a few on her just by backing her down or shooting over her. I also played Misty May in beach volleyball with my boy who is 6 ft 7 and we didn't score once, lol.
@@billny33 if he had been like, “ I won but she made it tough” or it was a good game, like you would with a guy that’s respect. His statement felt like he felt bad for winning even though she was talking smack the whole time.
They are most likely using a women's league basketball as the woman would have little chance of adjusting on the fly with a regulation men's league basketball.
@@shanelneaum3280 Whatever. It's just a men's ball is bigger and harder to make a shot with so he is at a disadvantage. I really don't give a shit it's just something I noticed. No big deal.
This is so embarrassing. Imagine being in the WNBA and losing to a former d2 player. What’s even worse is that she’s good enough in the WNBA to start in games. If an nba player did this the d2 player is losing 7-0 in every game.
Wym? She did good all male college athletes would destroy the professional women athletes in the same sport it’s called genetics. Bro their middle schoolers better then WNBA players. They be 6’5” and windmilling.
@@lundoren5240 thats idiotic, athleticism is not equal to height or dunking ability. I bet she can pace up and down that court far longer than some greasy, pimply 14 year old. Easy.
@@lundoren5240 A good boys high school team could beat the WNBA Champions. A boys 15 year old team beat the Australian Womens National team in soccer a few years back.
Neighborhood I grew up in, one of the kids I always played growing up with was a girl named Carlyn. She went to a local private prep school, which collects athletes for their sports programs. Pretty sure she went there on an 'athletic scholarship'. She was like 5'10" or so, big strong girl. She was their star player in Bball and volleyball. Like she dominated. After HS, she went to Auburn on a full ride for Bball. For me, I never even played high school ball, because I wasn't good enough in 9th, had family stuff keep me from playing in 10th, and in 11th and 12th I was injured when tryouts came. But I'm also 6'4", had the ups to easily dunk, and was a legit mid to long range shooter. After hs, I walked on to my JuCo and played 2 years, played in church leagues, Hoop-It-Up tournaments and always got in the game at my city's toughest courts for street ball. Yet whenever I played Caryn from when I was 16 and on, I always smoked her ass. Out of like 20-30 times we played against each other 1 on 1, she literally won a game of horse against me once. If it was a game of 1v1, she never once beat me, even though she tried her damnedest to. She was competitive and had that fire, I'll give her that, but she was a girl playing a man's sport. Like I went soft on her, never got physical on her like I could have, and yet I still kicked her ass every damn time. I wish these female players would just be honest with themselves and admit that the evolution of a man, and the evolution of a woman put us on different paths that generally do not interact well in the sports world. Maybe I'm old and set in my ways, but from where I'm at, the harder women try to do what men can do athletically, the worse the beatdown gets. Especially if a man lets loose and doesn't hold back because he's playing a girl. Elbow them in the kidneys, elbow them in the face, step under them when they jump, just flat out run them over on a drive to the hoop, trash talk them... They can't handle it. Never have, never will.
Intresting story but nobody said women can beat men, men are just more atheltic. Same reason there are weight class in combat sport. I think it's still a good training for top girls girls to play with average men so they can be dominant when playing in women's leagues.
She's bein a good sport. If she wanted to be snotty, she could get all upset when he scores and stuff. Or just not care at all either way, after all she's a pro.
They had to put up the EXCUSE at the beginning: "She had already played 5 games, had a 90-minute workout, was hungover, starving and had COVID. She is so brave for taking on this toxic incel!"
thank god wnba teams don't play against highschool boys but against other women! it's almost like their performance against men doesn't even matter! amazing comment dude
I went to a small school in upstate ny. Our girls varsity team would practice/scrimmage the boys regularly. The girls were undefeated in the conference for over 35 years. They went to the NYS Finals twice. Erin Pratt ended up going to Syracuse and sat the bench for 4 years. But our town was so proud of her anyway.
@@deliezer oh so ur saying its bad cuz no one was informed about it... other than that, there is nothing wrong with her: who is at a phisical disadvantage to play with a ball she is used to just like the guy is playing with a ball hes use to
*"Its when 10 are on the court at the same time that they look uncoordinated."* I don't know...there were several times she looked pretty uncoordinated...
A "professional" WNBA player vs an overweight former male semi-pro player who does not even try to play seriously it's an example of equality? .... WTF.
@@barri0_993 he was definately paid.. listen to what he says in the end "I won, but she was the one who won really" .. A FORMER division 2 player vs a PROFESSIONAL CURRENT WNBA player.. He wins, and still say "she really won" ..
Lmao not even semi pro. Basically D-league is semi pro even though they consider it "pro". Now put any #1 HS recruit vs THE ABSOLUTE BEST WNBA player. She getting swept 7-0 for 2 games straight lol
Division II does not equal "semi" or any form of pro sporting. Hockey players have to get to the AHL or play overseas to be considered "semi pros" or "pros". Same goes for baseball players.
Yeah, he wasn't even seriously playing any defense. He was mostly letting her shoot all she wanted. She wouldn't have gotten a single point if he was seriously trying to stop her.
They failed to mention it's an individual workout, which is a low effort workout focused on technique, or, in this case, shooting. So she basically had a 90min shooting warmup, hence why she was chucking up shots so much, cause she warmed up :D Plus, she played with the smaller WNBA ball, and trust me, it's harder to miss shots with that ball. I used to play in a lot of tournaments as a kid and we had a all girls team too who went to tournaments with us. When they were playing, at half time, me and some teammates would go on the court and shoot around for a bit and hang out, and i shit you not, i thought i was turning into a basketball god cause I went 30/30 from the 3pt line in the 10min break period, until i started thinking for a bit, walked to the hoop and put up the ball below the rim, just to realize that you could literally fit 5 of those in the rim at the same time. You could missfire and it would still go in cause the room for error was that much bigger. This moment just thought me women sports cant be taken seriously. Not to mention that i finally understood why when we played scrimmages against eachother, and were using regular balls, they literally never scored on us. Brick after brick, it was fun, but also very confusing cause Id seen them make shots in their own games, then suddenly they played like the Monstars against the boys.
@@achilles7042 Lol right? Like if I've been working out for 2 hours before hand I better beat someone coming in cold, I def would see that as an advantage
Honestly that would be more of an advantage than an excuse lmao clearly means she basically warmed up and should be feeling her shot while homeboy still has to adjust his game a little lol.
That’s kind of an advantage. If you’ve been warm already It’s probably easier to beat someone coming in cold. Now the second game might be where the fatigue sets in.
When I was in college and I was dating a girl who played for the University of Utah. She was so nice and really a good player. She arranged a game where me and a bunch of my friends in a church league against the starting 5 of the school. We beat them by 10 or 15 points. It was something like 97 - 80 something…they were in better shape and could shoot…but there was no answer for our physicality…
He played only his Freshman season (2016-2017). He played in 10 games, averaging 0.8 ppg, 1.2 rpg, 0.7 apg, shooting 20% from the field, and 28.6% from the free throw line.
Even back then, dude could probably get smoked by oldheads in the YMCA, yet this pro female player is struggling with him. This is why womens sports don't draw the way mens do.
So... let me get this straight... they took a bench player who hasn't played in a long minute and is out of shape vs a current WNBA professional player who is hitting the gym enough to have had just left the gym to play this... ok
A retired second string D2 player, beats a WNBA starter 2/3 games. And he wasn’t using his physical size at all. He could of easily man handled her and won 7-0 every time
yeah he didn't even try defending her when she drove in. Looks like he didn't want to bully her in the paint, reminds me of when I played an 8 year old kid in the park and I had to completely hold back and play softly
it's shocking how well he moves for a big man, if you told me he was a bronze medalist in the Olympics wrestling I'd believe it. She definitely has the built of a CURRENT professional WNBA athlete
@@davidgdmz4551 what?! how??? that dude is fat. Gable is not. dude might look like a HS heavyweight. its simply disrespectful to wrestlers to say he looks like one.
@@daking_cr “prolly stretched out” bruh u never did a basketball workout huh lmao. a pro wnba player isn’t just getting shots up n stretching she was doing drills n conditioning & shit lol
@@daking_cr again, if u never played ball then stfu lmao. after a 1.5 hour workout you are dogged, definitely don’t have any advantage over a dude with fresh legs. and that guy is in his 20s lmao hes not some old head
Lmao he's d2 not even d1 college. Looks like he hasn't played in like several years competitively and still beat her. While she's currently in the WNBA. And ppl wonder why no one watches the wnba 🤣
@@theweeniesreleased8503 better for gambling than the NBA. there are only 12 teams in the WNBA, out of those, only 3 maybe 4 will realistically win the title. It's pretty much the safest bet you can make in team futures, Seattle will win this year I am confident, moneyline is still +225
Gotta give her cred. That fade away jumper is smooth. Even when she drove the key at match point i swore she was gonna choke but she pulled thay fade away jumper out the pocket
Pretty much everyone measured their players with shoes on. Only recently did the NBA and WNBA start requiring bearfoot measurements. He's 5'9" and fat so of course she looks taller.
I played state basketball and couldn’t beat my boyfriend who was a football athlete and hardly ever played basketball. It was the most frustrating game of my life but he thought it was hilarious.
Damn all these dudes hate to see a girl win anything. She wasn’t show boating, she was just confident. At the end of the day yall dudes be looking to much into this idk what y’all was expecting she’s nice y’all just can’t say it.
I have a buddy who was wicked in high school then sat on the bench 3 yrs of college and only plays pickup ball once a month now. He’d absolutely rinse her and it would not be close. Just to give perspective 😂
My favorite part is when she, for no apparent reason, smashed herself into the pads like she was peter griffin who forgot how to sit down. No defense, no foul, no pick, nothing in her way... just runs straight into the pads as if it were the plan all along.
Unfortunately, it isn't. Pretty sure the feminists and equal rights but no equal lefts movement is waiting for him to fall, either from losing or doing anything they might feel is bullying her (her as in women's equality)
When I was a freshman in high school we (freshmen boys team) played the senior varsity girls team who won state that year and we absolutely crushed them 100 to 42.🎉
A lot of people talking about the guys weight. He’s still got some moves. The impressive part is that they’re playing with a woman’s ball, and he’s draining those shots. He’s learning a new size and weight and relearning muscle memory, and still won game 2 and 3.
He has to. His shot is horrible, never really learned a true jump shot, pushing from his body. He would be blocked about 80% of the time by a decent 5'10" player. He would never take a shot against someone over 6'. And yet he can score on her at will. I don't know why people do these comparisons.
We scrimmaged our varsity girls when we were freshman in highschool. And they varsity girls had been to state 3 years in a row. We won by 40 while not being allowed to block shots or pick off passes 😂
This is a fair comparison to make. She’s a WNBA bench player, if the Leagues were equal she would have toasted the guy 21-1 or 2 in a matter of minutes. That’s surely what would become of dude if it were a NBA 8th or 9th guy playing him. That’s no disrespect to this man either. He was a gracious sport.
