The WNBA lose $10 million a year for a 6 month season! The WNBA has lost $$$HALF A BILLION since its inception. Women do NOT attend WNBA games. Until a new business model for the WNBA is created the WNBA will suffer.
My biggest problem with it is that they only had 12 teams and this year gonna have 13 teams literally 14 teams from the NFL and 14 teams from the NBA make it to the playoffs. The men’s leagues have more teams making it to the playoffs than they have in their entire league so their championships don’t even mean that much. They don’t play at a super high-level. You could probably get 7 to 17 more teamsto get up to 20 or 30 teams and those new teams would probably go on to win the championship because there’s a lot of female basketball players that play all around the world that could destroy the WNBA teams because they don’t get international players like the NBA does
Even if you give them more money they just will complain to get more. Women are never happy with what they have... they just want more and more and more. Smdh. They should be PROUD they even have a league at all. They should be happy they make MORE than men in Revenue share. .18 for women in the wnba. Versus .10 for men in the nba. Shuttttt upppp already women.
Simple to improve WNBA Technically Lower the rim like in Volleyball where the net is lower. The ball is alrwady small, so you can reduce the Duration of the game. Also we need more media coverarge through newspapers, Get more girls to like sports and we know most women hate sports
Tepper sucks but in his defense, moving up from 33 to 32 is worth it to get an extra year on the rookie deal since first round picks get 5 year deals and 2nd round picks get 4 year deals.

the average wnba player points per game for the whopping 12 team league who play 30 games including playoffs is 14? The average points per game for women's ncaa league is 20 points per game. Even the ncaa games & player are better & put for effort into their college games then the wnba does & they wonder why up til now no one watches the wnba. Clark has done more for wnba then the entire history of wnba combined..... btw basketball was created in 1891 by James Naismith a Canadian-American. Not sure who lebron claims created the league let alone sport these days but it was a teacher looking for an activity to amuse his students on a rainy day.

Name one other country where their players basketball players make at least 100,000 or more playing just basketball.
