WNBA is an inspiration to my grandma. She suffered a leg injury in an accident but one day while watching WNBA she was able to walk in front of the TV and turned it off.
It’s amazing how they think they are victims for doing a job year round for a decent paycheck like everybody else in the world. That is pure entitlement. People cannot stop comparing themselves to others.
Her justification for equal pay is the work the players put in. If that were the criteria there'd be a lot of high payed amateurs. Some of the hardest working athletes never make it to the pros.
Since when does a personal trainer cost $2000 a week? What a load of crap when I was going up through the ranks playing hockey we realized until we got to professional leagues we had to pay for everything ourselves and it was the team that helped us with our training and it was the coach who trained us!
If you’re a professional athlete, you’re an entertainer. You’re paid based on your ability to entertain people. No one technically cares about the amount of work you put into it or how long you practice...
