The average height in the NBA is 6’7 Average in the WNBA is 6’0 I think it makes 100% since to lower the rim height by 7 inches to make it more interesting. I don’t think that’s disrespectful to their skills, it simply accommodates for the height difference

I went to a WNBA game the other day because it was part of my criminal punishment as community service…. isn’t that sad 😔? A judge actually declared that i be there to commence my hours. There were 2 other games i needed to attend but i couldn’t do it. I couldn’t last. I called my attorney and turned myself in. Now i sit here in general population thinking how bad a punishment it was for me to sit through that stomach turning, nauseating, revolting and sickening display of community center basketball. All i could think of when i was there was they actually charge tickets !!!!! for this. 🤦🏻‍♂️ But guess what? That judge is a genius. As i sat there, all i could do was think of how much of a waste of time i was enduring and what has become of my life. All the poor choices that were made and how they could’ve been prevented. I didn’t even watch the game as i sat there staring into the back of some other poor miserable man’s head who was probably forced to go to the game with his wife. Sporting a cheap buzz cut probably chosen by his wife made me think of why men throw in the towel after marriage. A poor lost soul who had seen to much to be saved. There was nothing i can do. Just like the poor man i accepted my fate. By the 4th quarter i took off. I felt like i was enslaved by a cult and found freedom. That experience will stay with me for the rest of my life. I’ve officially retired from crime and now i’m paying my debt to society. I vowed to never speak of this incident ever, but the back of that man’s head made me do it. If we lost one i’m pretty sure more are on the way. Stay safe out there.

What’s so crazy to me is that I am 100% sure that everyone in the WNBA actually already knows all of this. Everybody has been telling them what’s wrong for years they just choose to ignore it, be defensive, and not fix anything.

If you google the last few WNBA games, out of the 36 games that have happened so far including preseason there is only ONE game where one of the teams scored more than 100 points. In addition to this, each WNBA quarter is 10 minutes instead of the 12 minutes in the NBA. Why do they accept a shorter playing time but not lowering the rim where it would significantly help them??
