Seasons 2-3 was easily the peak of this franchise. Everything beyond this was deeply flawed, deeply materialistic, had poor characterization, didn’t age well.

@@SapphireSloane The cheating was definitely awful. I'm emphasizing on how he kept trying to change her into a simple country girl. He didn't want her getting mad at the dog for chewing her designer shoes and didn't train him, he wanted her to get rid of the majority of her stuff she loved and worked hard for, he always wanted her to stay home instead going out and having fun, etc. Carrie was trying to conform to him best she could bc she loved him, and he really wanted to be with her. Unfortunately many core differences will get in the way.

It's very sad because as old as this clip is it's soooo truuuue!!! I have been dating since I was 16 and I have never came close to an engagement or marriage. Where is he indeed, Charlotte is right this is depressing. I have hope, but also as a realist I have to consider that maybe my journey doesn't include the kind of great love I desire. Only toxic damaged guys seem to be left out here and all the good ones are taken.

Love Charlotte shes so sweet just wants to meet ger soulmate. She brought so much optimism and joy to the group aling with a little bit of prudness. She always put the girls in thier place and always stood up for herself. She was lovely and a great watch ❤

Hate the new series. They totally killed the show. Who TF says and just like that he died about their husband. I was disgusted by that, so flippant and came across so shallow and juvenile. @@jenniferbond7073 Honestly, people don't give the writers enough credit for the way they wrote Carrie. Whether they intended that or not, they did a fantastic job at writing a narcissist. Unfortunately, people like Carrie actually exist. Is she an annoying character? Absolutely. But is she realistic to real life? Also yes. The only thing unrealistic about her was how she could afford her spending habits with her job, thar would have never worked in real life.

Their chemistry was off the charts. I hate how social media has demonized Carrie... You don't have to agree with the characters all the time, they're supposed to be complex and I don't think Carrie ever did anything with ill intentions. Plus, the writing was brilliant. This is my favourite show, I don't care how "problematic" people claim it is.

Wouldn't it be funny if all the characters ended up the opposite of who they were when the show started like Miranda? She was an independent career woman who didn't believe in soul mates but she ended up married with a kid? Like if Carrie who was always looking for great loves just ended up with casual lovers because no man can satisfy her romantic ideals. Or if Charlotte just became disillusioned with marriage after Trey and decided being single is better and she adopted a child and became a single mom? And Samantha found her true love, got married and became a housewife.

I can't believe how many times I see studios try to make out girl/women don't need to be rescued. So they make movies and tv series focus on girls who don't need men in their lives. When they were working on Snow White they wanted to remove the Prince element to the story. When the studio fail to see thanks to the Prince he saved her life. And I agree with Charlotte here that women in the audience want the heroine rescue by a hot guy.

Ahhh, SATC at its best! The clip also shows how much AJLT is a travesty. AJLT is on the other side of their lives after they have sold out and are desperately scrambling to assuage their happiness with *bad writing and plot lines from the AJLT writers here*. I’m not saying that the ladies shouldn’t have crises. But the SATC would have been a little bit smarter and savvier than what we see them as in AJLT. And frankly they should have thrown heaps of money, an apology, better writers, and executive producer perks at Kim Cattrall. She is brilliant.

I love Charlotte. She's not afraid to be a traditional female in a modern world. This is why, her life, compared to her friends, turned out the best. Charlotte stayed true to herself and achieved it all: a career, rich husband and children.

Actually she's a gold digger disguised as a housewife. All she wanted was to get married to a rich man, she quit her job right away. After she got the Park Avenue apartment she went off to change her religion in order to be a housewife again. Maybe the others wanted it to but couldn't pull it off. Miranda was working insane long hours, bought the apartment and her husband is cheating on her. Carrie chased Big because he was rich. The only decent person was Samantha.
