Woods vs Driver, can we treat them the same?

We need to know how to hit with these different clubs, they are not the same?
Let me help you get a effortless golfswing with speed and accuracy. A good release will help you to a better impact and longer drives and irons without slice and hook.
Long and straight is every ones goal but it takes time. Try to focus on one thing not everything when you practise. Impact, face control and swingpath will always be the most important part to drill.
If you use callaway, ping, titleist or taylor made clubs doesn’t matter you can learn to hit good golf shots. Your loft or your shaft on the club will not change but you can get better.
Find what inspires you. The pga tour, longdrivers or other good golfers can all help you find better golf shots. Watch what they do instead of listed to what they say. Listen mostly to your body and figure out what you need to do to produce the same results as the pros on TV.
Mike Malaska, Mike Austin, Mike Dunaway and Steve Pratt are some of my favorite golf instructors online. Find the tips that make your golf better. Decide what you want to hit. I teach a draw but many like a fade and nobody likes a hook or slice.
Your hips or your lag is not the key to golf. Your hands will decide the shot and you can do like Tiger Woods and trust your hands. Teach your hands to hit different shots. Hit big hooks and slices to understand what happens. Only straight is not gonna teach you anything.
Bryson Dechambeu and Kyle Birkshire can inspire you to hit it longer. Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson can give you inspiration and motivation to test new things and new golf shots.
The Masters, Players Championship, The Players, The Open and US Open can make you love golf even more. See the best in the world solve all the problems we all need to master any golf course. Golf is a craft and you need fantasy, feel and skills to master it.

Marcus, I really think you dropped a big pearl of wisdom with that observation about how the brain sees that fairway wood. And the prescription is right on - make extra practice swings with intention to put the sole on the deck at the ball position. You're a doggone genius. And don't get me started on the 290 yard 5 wood. Aye Carumba!

This may not be the place to say this but "your bend, extend, bend" and how to use the "toe" of the club has helped me so much. I am hitting the ball so much better now. "Thank You"

Marcus, your teaching methods/philosophy on the golf swing are fabulous! So unique and simple to follow...especially as a fellow lefty! Sadly all the BIG channels on RU-vid regurgitate the same confusing/difficult swing like Rory, DJ, etc., cookie cutter ideas that essentially the average golfer will never be able to do. Thank you for posting such excellent content!

You explain everything in a simple way I like the pull and push vid it took 9 strokes off of my game yesterday after I got to actually feeling it some of my drive’s went right but after not going to far backwards behind me I was able to hit it straighter

Hi Marcus, I love your teaching. Where is your weight, mainly when hitting the ball. I am still struggling to hit pass 160 meters with the driver. Desperately needing help.
@GolfwithMarcusEdblad
@GolfwithMarcusEdblad 7 месяцев назад
Hi. At impact it's very different between hitting up with a driver and hitting down with an iron. My weight stays back longer when I hit a driver and are still mostly on my back foot at impact before it moves to the lead side. Hitting irons it's more on the back foot at impact. Maybe this video can help: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6GHhO6O_whw.htmlsi=3jrOWs5BdFpfb_Al

Great video. Quick question. Why the 44 inch driver? Obvious answer is more centre strikes. What i really want to know is the club specs. Did you have the swingweight and flex adjusted. What is the loft of your club? Thank you

The obvious answer is that I haven't found any better. In this video I will give you all the info about my driver: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-c_-peYaFytY.htmlsi=PHrJeebcbdnFYilj

Marcus , Would you find your ball position with the driver on those higher tees to be more in the middle of the stance or further back even . Is this better with the circle and not have body movement , more club movement sooner ? It seems like you prefer the ball back with all clubs ? The length of the club will change the circle correct ?
@GolfwithMarcusEdblad
@GolfwithMarcusEdblad 4 месяца назад
Hitting up or hitting down changes where in the circle we hit the ball and the length of the club will change the timing we need to use. My ball position is further back than most golfers and this video will explain why: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OOYfpcefCnQ.htmlsi=6ygHwXLB5sZMqF5X

To find low point of swing, do we need to move ball more forward in relation to iron shots?
@GolfwithMarcusEdblad
@GolfwithMarcusEdblad 8 месяцев назад
You don't need to move the ball but you need to move your landing to the ball with irons. Watch this: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6nTk2W-AbIw.htmlsi=r3BcsouKw5uOKaO8

New subscriber love the channel. If you have a video or if someone has seen his video explaining how should the club face be set open or closed, when using the driver. Thanks for the help Takecare
@GolfwithMarcusEdblad
@GolfwithMarcusEdblad Год назад
Hi Robby. Because we want to hit the ball we need a square or slightly opened club face to be able to release the club early to create speed. A closed club face will force you to "slice" to get the club face square at impact. This could be a video in the future. 👍
@RC.Time-Crawlers

Thanks Marcus! I'm also finding it difficult to stay balanced on my front foot. After the early release behind the ballI is this a normal attribute to swinging upward. After hitting a few I felt as if I was now falling back and having more pressure onto my rear toes. Sorry to overranalyze thanks again for getting back take care.
@GolfwithMarcusEdblad
@GolfwithMarcusEdblad Год назад
@@RC.Time-Crawlers If you keep pushing forward your body will move to your front foot. Take a swing without the club and bring your trail hand over your lead shoulder at finish. That is the feeling you should bring to you swing with the club.

For the W5 and the later lowpoint I should have a later release as with the driver (there I need an earlier release to get the low point at 10.30h/13.30h) - right? But how can I get it without holding the „lag“?
@GolfwithMarcusEdblad
@GolfwithMarcusEdblad Год назад
Hi. It's all in the timing. When you extend and unbend the trail arm relative to your body turn. Earlier extension gives you earlier low point. Are you with me?

@@GolfwithMarcusEdblad Yes. Thanks. A video in slow motion to see the differences in timing the unbend would be great.
