Cigarettes and alcohol addiction actually destroyed my life. I could remember several years ago after divorce with my husband which brought me into my disastrous journey on Alcohol and cigarettes. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Got diagnosed with cptsd. Not until a friend recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 8 years totally clean. Much respect to mother nature the great magic shrooms.

Can you help me with the reliable source. I'm 56 and have suffered for years with addiction, anxiety and severe ptsd, I got my panic attacks under control myself years ago and they have come back with a vengeance, I'm constantly trying to take full breaths but can't get the full satisfying breath out, it's absolutely crippling me, i live in Australia. I don't know much about these mushrooms. Really need a reliable source!! Can't wait to get them.

Ive done shrooms last month in my house. It taught me how severely traumatized I was from alcohol. I healed from many mental traumas from my past and was able to forgive, let go. Shrooms to me is a remedy not a vice. I even felt more refreshed the morning after. So no hangovers. No depression mood for days. No anxiety.I now have a more calm mind

Always keep me in mind its very tough but u are not alone mane are fighting this shit those chemist made and more than a billion are addicted and cant stop even when they try cause they fail most of the times and they give up no knowing that this is a very strong addiction and its okay to fail but to give up is worst keep trying new ways untill u can one day cause this is a drug these chemist made for destruction and they act like they care about us .. very strong i suggest u try nicotine gums i did it works half way or more to stop cravings i have been a smoker for 10 years smoking two packs almost a day and it my 23 day without ciggrate but i do take 4mg nicotine gums i mean its better than those chemicals rather pure nicotine .. try a doctor before u start this cravings is serious and pretty strong addiction which come from ciggrate smokin and the memory u had with them make it more difficult but its a trap we all fell in .so fight these chemist and its worth it and u ll be happy and u ll enjoy the moments once again one day the body was not designed to have Nocotine and those harmful chemical into ur lungs and body the only thing that was meant to go into lung is only AIR.good luck

Somebody suggested to me some years ago I try the combo of whiskey and cigars. I was drinking occasionally up until then but never really smoked. (Had tried a few times cigarettes, but nothing major). Either way, so the first time I had the combo I kind of enjoyed it, but it wasn't that cool. Then the second time, I definitely appreciated it more. And then a few more times down the line (this was all during a few months period), I was really starting to get into it. The combination of a good whiskey and a quality cigar was really starting to get charming for me. I remember, one evening, when I was just planning to hit it again, I suddenly realized that if I don't stop the cigar thing RIGHT now - I will get addicted to it. And then one addiction can lead to another and then I would really be in trouble. After that moment I had never had a glass of whiskey with a cigar any more. In fact I haven't had even a standalone cigar or any nicotine products at all. Watching your video here makes me think - damn, that was a good decision that evening.

Very good question. Before I quit for the last time ( I had tried a number of times), I read an article that said the cravings typically go away after 2 years. It may seem like a long time, but there is an end point and it gets better as time goes by. To fight off the cravings I would conjure up a cigarette monster and fought with it rather then beat myself up for not having the will power. Just keep remembering that this is an ADDICTION not a habit and to end it takes work and willingness to stop it. YOU CAN DO IT!

Thanks for this. It's been exactly 8 days, seems like such a little time but in my head it seems like an entire lifetime. You don't realize how evil smoking can be, it was created to solve a problem that was created by nicotine in the first place just coz some fart wanted to make money😒 I constantly remind myself that I was not born with a cigarette in my mouth so why's this so hard? Then it hits me, smoking has been a part of my life and such a big part of who I am for over 15 years so of course it'll make me feel some kind of way, I need to be more patient with myself. This is really hard but I know it will be worth it. I now watch videos like these each time I crave for some inspiration and it really works. Thank you sir for sharing your experience with us. I genuinely feel that if I could go 8 days without smoking then I can see this to the end and I can do ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING!!! And that feeling, I will remind myself of each time I want to light up. That’s what I was wondering, when you’re in the grips of it it’s not as easy as just stop and not do it anymore, I’d like to know the thought process behind the quitting, the repeated thought process keeping from lighting up…

@@danieladamconceicao6246 The thing is, if you're thinking about something all the time you're still being gripped by it, ie. 'What you resist persists'. Although initially it's helpful to build up an association with disgust everytime you think you want a cigarette and cement that thought process into a habit through persistent repetition. Regular exercise in tandem with this helps massively, and a clean diet. Eventually you'll feel great through these wholesome lifestyle changes, and that coupled with the disgust-association you've built up will soon make the very idea of a smoking seem appalling; you'll soon laugh at the absurdity of being controlled by such a strange and pathological habit

I smoked from 14 to 35 years old, in the last years I smoked an average of 30 cigarettes a day (1 pack and a half). I gave my life to Jesus, and I felt the need not to smoke or consume alcohol anymore, with the alcoholic drink it was overnight, I threw away what I had of beer and cachaça at home... ! I agreed with my wife to try to smoke the least amount of cigarettes I could in one day so with a lot of effort on my part I smoked 12 cigarettes, for one week she gave me 12 cigarettes every day for me to consume, the other week it was 11 cigarettes a day day, the other 10... and each week it decreased by 1 per day. everything was going well, until it reached 4 cigarettes... I started stealing cigarettes from her, and ended up smoking 7, 8 cigarettes a day. until one day that during a prayer I was sincere to God, and said that I couldn't stop smoking and that I didn't really have the strength and that I really wanted to and asked God to help me and take the pleasure of smoking from me... One day inside the church during a preaching that a pastor was doing, I heard a voice speaking in my ear clearly; - "So far I've let you try, to show that you're not capable. From today you don't smoke because I don't want to! I was so scared that when my wife told me what I had heard, she saw in me a frightened and admired person, who started to cry because she saw that I was not delirious. Upon leaving the church my car had been broken into and my documents and my wife's documents had been stolen, along with the vehicle's sound. But I knew that if I got over that nervousness and anger I felt at seeing my car like that I wouldn't smoke anymore (it was like a test to confirm my convictions in the voice I heard). I called my wife and we went home , I took everything I had connected to tobacco ( tobacco , paper , lighter , matches , cigarette pack ....) I put it on a piece of paper and rolled it up we went to the street, and on a sidewalk I threw alcohol and I prayed to God; - Lord, trusting the voice I heard today I know that I will no longer feel like smoking, in Jesus name I set fire to all these elements linked to cigarettes! And by the honor and glory of God I was freed, in the name of Jesus! Vinicius Cruz. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xrQA5Jx9R3Y.html&ab_channel=Vin%C3%ADciusCruz

Quite honestly, nicotine is a very strong addiction. It should be handled as an addiction. Inpatient treatment first, meetings, counseling. We treat smokers with "aides" and send them home to do it on their own. Do we do this with cocaine addiction? "Here ya go, here's some replacement drugs, go home and use them." An addict is going to go home with good intentions and then use nicotine.

I am on the 6th day of my quit. I am 58 and had been smoking since I was 15. A bad bronchial chest infection got me to finally call it a day. Unlike past attempts to quit, this time has been relatively painless. Probably because when the threat of permanent and debilitating conditions like emphysema become real, it provides real motivation.

@@Ang33335 Thanks for your thoughts. I am now on the 11th day of my quit. My chest infection has cleared up and this is when attempts to quit can become vulnerable. When you feel good again you can lose touch with why you quit in the first place. I am not going to let that happen. Best wishes with your own quit. It will be worth whatever you are going through right now. A good source of motivation and wisdom is whyquit.com Joel Spitzer has been involved in smoking cessation since 1972.

I've been smoking 8 years. I thought I was inhaling my cigarettes. A co worker informed me that I was not doing smoking it correctly. I just brushed it off. Because I thought it was and I wasn't. That was 6 ago. I've had more brands of cigarettes than a normal person. Because I like to smoke different different brands. All the time. Recently I've been inhaling my Cigarettes like I'm supposed to. Which shocked my co-workers to the core. Because it was my managers, seafood and meat manager at my job a month ago. I guess it was time for my lungs to finally grow into my body, so to speak. And now I am correctly smoking like everybody else. Now I can actually enjoy it like everybody else as well. Which means I can focus much better than I could before. I can handle tasks even at work better than I could before. Nicotine is a drug for a reason. It's addictive, otherwise you would need a license to purchase cigarettes.

I have a very deep seated nicotine addiction. I really want to stop, especially seeing as cigarettes are now 66 dollars a packet here in Australia, indexed to rise by 2.66 every 3 months forever... But the struggle of withdrawals is terrifying.. im not giving up on giving up though. I saw the struggle my grandfather had with emphasema in his last years, and definitely don't want the same fate.

Jeff. I'm 62, I started smoking cigarettes in 1976. That's 46 years of being a smoker. I caugh. I'm really worried about my breathing. I get shortness of breath. People can see that and always comment that I should quit and while Caughing my head off I raise my hand and tell em you're right, I need to quit smoking and that I have the patches and the nicotine Lozenges and Gum for sessation but the Nicotine Addiction is so strong I still smoke while wearing a Patch. When I woke up this morning I had one cigarette in the pack and I smoked it. That's been over 2 hours ago. I haven't wanted another because I'm still Caughing now for 2 hours and I'm scared that my Lungs are getting worse. I'm trying to convince myself not to buy another pack of Cigarettes so my Lungs can heal and so I can Breath Easier. Thanks for stepping up Jeff. Thanks for your Candor. I'm looking for inspiration. As if not being able to Breath very well isn't enough!

You got this, it’s mostly psychological. I quit cold turkey and you just gotta get passed a couple days and it’s downhill from there. Everyone is different so I don’t know what your withdrawal will be like and you smoked a lot longer than me, but whatever it is you can get through it, I promise. Just got to be tough with it. I tell myself I’ve made it through so much in life that I can get through this too, I tell myself not to be mentally weak, fuck it, it sucks but this too shall pass. 62 is that age where things get scary health wise, so it’s best you just quit, I believe in you.

When we are baby's we feel security when sucking. To suck brings comfort and security. The act of suckling is what smokers seek in a cigarette.. comfort, security, hope. Everything we felt as a child on our moms breast. We have to slowly take a baby away from this through soothers. The soother and the cigarette share the same space

I’m having so much trouble quitting. It’s all I obsess over. I smoke anywhere up to 80 a day, I’ve tried champix but then as soon as I stopped I was smoking again, patches, gum, hypnotherapy twice, coke turkey the works and nothings working. I know I CAN do it but the fear of feeling the withdrawal pain especially with 5 children who have autism and adhd at me all day and night it gets so frustrating and I don’t want to take my withdrawals out on them. Even as I’m smoking I have cravings in my throat that’s driving me insane, this feeling in my throat never goes away. And all it does is depress me more because I hate smoking I never have to be honest. Can’t stand the taste, the smell, the cost, the breathing problems. I feel I’m never going to quit and it’s my deepest desire

Everyone knows the dangers - but lets not lie to ourselves - smoking has benefits - first of all - you look look smoking. Second, it comes you down - atleast temerarity (after 10+ minutes you actually get rebound anxiaty), Cigarettes make you think sharper - your brain works better. There is a cognitive effect. I heart this one thing - "Smokers hate themselves" , and thats true - that lung cancer or heart disease is not worth a slight buzz and smokes that cost $13+ per pack.

QUIT is a bad word. Quitting implies giving up, or only losers quit the important tasks of life.. By terminating your nicotine addiction, your not quitting anything. Smoking is not important. The tabacco companies probably came up with the word Quit, the word is controlled opposition.
