If you listen to the live album at the beginning - with the intro and all - at 3:03 Steve Gaines comes in and plays the clean strat solo. That is one of the greatest most awesomely phrased solos of all time in rock music....nobody can play that version perfectly except Steve - and the guitarist here does a very nice job of it....Steve's solo is great because of his phrasing and use of the fretboard and how he controls the energy - and again the phrasing - the bracketing of each phrase - is just what a perfect rock solo wants to have. Good job here recreating an amazing moment in time.

Sounds great but the front man needs to be out front like Ronnie!

Just got watching this band do Tuesday gone. There are some songs some bands should just leave alone . Tuesday gone this band should never do again.

There should be no guitar rhythm during the first half of the guitar solo!

Don’t get me wrong. I’m a HUGE Skynyrd fan of 40plus years and as a drummer artimus is the reason I started playing. That said as much as I love the guy He’s been through a ton. But he tells to many stories that aren’t true. He calls this the real Skynyrd which I gotta disagree. The singers trying way to hard. Bottom line Ronnie’s vocals aren’t classically trained but the dude had pipes that I’ve yet to see anyone come even close to him. Or the 1977 band musically vocally there isn’t a band out there that can duplicate that sound which says how great this band was OMFTR is one of the best live albums made. Period. Sorry to slag my boy Artie. Im must be having a bad day 😢
