Tractors with triples on them look so cool. Friends of mine had a 9380 with triples on it that was a great tractor to do field work with. Had an n14 in it with the quad range. You had to drive slow in the fall when the tires were cold it would bounce and shake until they warmed up. Just like all tractors when the tires are cold. But the big ones were worse. God bless

Nice demonstration of big tractor power I farm in the southern high plains dust-bowl where our clay turns to compacted dust if tilled like that. Without soil structure the rain water runs off and never fills the subsoil to grow a good crop. I mark the badger holes and take a front end loader or blade to first fill the holes and take down the mole hills.

Minnesota soil looks like a dry lava field this year. It’s thick & sticky then dries like concrete in their equipment. Been watching Larson’s & Millennial Farmer for years. That’s just a normal Minnesota Fall. A lot different from PA, but most of the farmers around me are Amish.😂No tractors to clean up.

Lucky you the 9280 I grew up on had a 4 post canopy and a peace of lexan between me and the exhaust in the Appalachian mountain winters deep ripping in front of dad and the 5 bottom moldboard plow

Those weeds keep plugging up your high speed disk because you have a smooth blades and not notched. We ran into the same problem in cornstalks plugging up when we ran smooth blades as soon as we swapped them all over to notched blades it never give us any issues.

8:30 Some people put up hawk perches to address gopher problems - especially beside a fence line. Put up old telephone poles or a couple lapped together 2x4's with a cross perch on top running east-west. I'm not sure how big of radius the perch works for but something to look into (fair amount on google) as far as natural way of getting rid of gophers. Probably just migrate the gophers into the middle of the field.

Usually you have to slow down or not go as deep to keep from plugging. At least that is my experience.

Those 9000 series Case IH always started hard, It’s just a normal thing. We ran a 9380 with tracks and I was just as bad lol

On my 9270 I find it starts bett if you crank a bit then stop for a few seconds then crank again. But best plugged in if in yard

@@richardradawetz8788 Yeah I don’t know why are started hard it’s wasn’t worn out by any means. Sometimes it would start up sputter a little bit and then die and you wait a few seconds start back up everythings fine. 🤷‍♂️

People pay big money to come out and help with your gopher problem. Gophers end up with sudden loss of bodily functions. Strange problem but hunters are more than happy to help them.
