World Class Trout Fishery, New Zealand 

This river system has been described as world class. It has diminished over the years however and I do not think it gets the pressure of other world class fisher's in New Zealand. The pools were deep and the drifts tricky at times but when I connected to one of the large Rainbows in there, all hell would let rip. Count the times this large Hen Trout, jumps. Right from the get go, this awesome trout gives it all. I am using a 6# Air Flow Bandit for this river. The stopping power of this great rod really helped me on this day. The trout did not dictate the fight too much.Hope you enjoy, Regards Shane
