Great run BUT. WOO let him get away with one...He hit the restart cone on second to last restart sending it flying...He should have been sent back two spots on following restart...
@chuckg6039 I DK But they did..And the "this isnt Nascar" Comment is funny..BOTH NASCAR and WOO/KNOXVILLE have a line in the rulebook allowing them to look away..The rules should be black and white but the added the term "Descretion" in a line at the top.. Look at the restart @3:30, He misjudges the cone and slaps it into almost into the infield..That by definition of the rule KNOXVILLE and WOO have in place is a 2 spot penalty(I have it in front of me.)...However they allowed him to keep his spot...Hence "Look the other way","Pretend didnt happen", "Didnt want to ruin the headline" whichever you prefer...I like Gravel not trying to take anything away from his charge...I AM sick of the inconsistant officiating though...@@chuckg6039
The Knoxville Nationals is by far the best money race for the season because it pays great money to a lot of the field. For example, Brent Marks didn't make the A Main and finished 5th in the B Main but his 5th place finish in the B Main still got him.$10,000. $10,000 is the regular winning total for the average WOO winner in most WOO races.
Gravel made a great run but others have come from the back to second. Jeff Swindell did it twice and Shane Stewart once. I can only remember Wolfegang leading the whole race and it was 30 laps then. There have been a handful of times that guys have run the alphabet. Wolfegang did it and Brad Doty did it.

If there has ever been a dash for the cash, fifty laps, that was one of the best I've ever seen. Gravel put on one Heck of a show. Kudos to Larson on his win.

@@tonylepley7366so was shuhart,gravel, Donnie and all the other regulars, Larson a true outlaw shows up once in a while and does what he has to for a good starting spot and mostly always has a good finish, compare him to the other true outlaw Bobby Allen
He started on the pole! He pasted no one in the feature he should win. If he doesn't itsa big disappointment. Look at David Gravel's run from 22 nd to 2 nd ran out if laps.

I can say I'm a Larson's fan and I've been watching all the nos energy drink Sprint car races and I became a David gravell fan also and to come from 22nd to 2nd in fifty laps is one reason I became a David gravell fan he's one hell of a driver

He’s taken guys nose wings off, pushed guys off the racing line and into the loose shit, over the cushion… I wouldn’t expect anything else from someone Bobbi chose to drive that car after the way she treated David when he was there. Nobody talks about her dating a guy a couple months after Jason died. Grass isn’t even growing on the man’s grave and she’s out there walking around with his hand in her pocket posting pictures.
Fans appreciate Kyle Larson because this talent is very rare fan or not you have to respect his talent and what he can do in a sprint car! I think you are witnessing a very gifted driver for this generation of drivers ! David Gravel was trying not to be denied of that win! Awesome job for him and the team! I am really surprised that Donny was not closer to win this one either, I figured he would really be excited to tie Kinser's record? I felt for Logan Schuchart I figured this was a great shot for him to win the Nationals as well! Great run for Hot Sauce as well! Rico did not have the run I thought he would as well! Overall this was a great race in my opinion!

Lowell Moural Sr. He owned and operated Cycleland Speedway and also did track prep at Silver Dollar Speedway. Most of the NorCal guys got their start at Cycleland speedway in karts. Prayers for the family
Saw that too. What is the penalty btw? Not sure if it is different at different tracks. Or if its like the jumping the restart rule - Outlaws can do it, locals can't.
