For those who didn't attend, Larson didn't announce he was coming. He arrived in the pits before hotlaps and surprised everyone. The track posted about it as soon as he arrived. After the race, Kyle signed autographs and took pictures with hundreds of fans. He stayed around for about 45 minutes. Huge treat for us locals. "I love I-55" - Kyle Larson
Well that was a really awesome race to watch! Although I would have to say that them Late Models have had some really bad azz racing this year also.! Go watch the World of Outlaws series from tonight. It was really awesome as well.! As a life long Dirt Track fan and it's been a lot of them. Lol The racing in general all the classes has come along way!! Now for me losing certain classes has rubbed me the wrong way and took me a little bit to get used to!! Also a lot of track's closed due to bad freaking so called (leaders) Politics! Mismanagement of funds etc.. Has and is screwed our economy up and Sadly it's going to get way worse!!.. Unfortunately!! So enjoy all the racing you can and be thankful you man!! haha lol😅 my apologies for rattlingly on! Even though it's true.! I would say that Sprint Cars race was bbbbad to the bone tonight!!😝 🙃😉😆🤫🤓✌️👍
It's always worth the drive to see them almost anywhere. I'm lucky, this is only 30 miles from home. I've been going there with my old man since the late 70's. Were you there Friday? That was crazy!
This one had it all. Multiple sliders that were mere inches away from disaster, multiple lead changes, and just great racing all around. I really don't care who wins the race as long as great racing involved and this one did not disappoint. Probably the best race I've seen this season. I really thought Schuhart had him, but this is Larson we're talking about. I know the fans were not disappointed. Also, kudos to track maintenance for improving the track from Friday night. That really helped to get some fast racing going. How anyone can say NASCAR puts on a better show is beyond my understanding.
That was a classic, epic duel between two of sprint car racing’s best! Great job by Cory Day to come back strong after knocking down the fence the previous night.
Like it or not he has more motor than the rest put any top ten driver in that car they can do the same. He is a cherry picker. Steel the points from the full timers.
Were’s Denny when you need him. Yeah yeah yeah. Iam glad i could Steal the $50,000. Put me on the pole for the Knoxville nationals i’ll be all set. Your Fu*king up the Out law’s !!!
@@Bad.bob123 The biggest motor doesn’t win outlaw races. It takes three elements and miss on just one of them, you’re an also ran. A good car, a good driver and somebody that can look at the track, walk back to the car and say this is what we need to do.
@@Bad.bob123he runs a rider motor along with 50 other guys. Yeah I'm sure gravel and sweet wish they could afford a rider motor lol. Your comment was just dumb
You can't say enough about Larson. The guy races a few sprint car races a year and comes out with a can of whoop ass and beats the best. He's fun to watch, that's for sure.
@@mhoovair89 Ummm, nope. Larson races 39 NASCAR Cup races a year vs around 20-25 Sprint car races. Compare that to Justin Marks etc, at 100+ Sprint car races a year.
Man I wanted Logan to get him so bad. Idk why he didn't chop him harder going in to 3, but that's easy to say after the fact. Either way that was one of the most exciting races of the season!
@@rjai4890 I hear ya. But, turns 3-4 on the last last, respect goes out the window a little bit. The first 54 and a half laps, sure I'm with ya, but he had him cleared, Logan could've squeezed the bottom and had a W. But again, hindsight is 20:20. 2nd is a solid result always, plus keeping your car in 1 piece before Knoxville is worth a lot too.
What a race, love these little bull rings. They really bring the drivers out. In the end doesn't matter who won. That was awesome clean battling by the best in the biz!!! 🤘🤘🏁
That was some very intense and very awesome sliders being thrown around tonight for the iron man 55... Thought a couple of them sliders were gonna end with some violent flips lol... Almost had it Logan.... You will win bigger races for sure... Shark racing is dialed in for Knoxville for sure... Kyle was just a little quicker coming off of turn 4 for the win... Congrats to Kyle Larson and to all racers tonight... So much fun to watch... Come on Knoxville Nationals....
Yeah there is a whole wave of great kids coming through. Not sure why but this sport has never had a shortage of young lions nipping at the heels of the current champions.
One of the best wins in WoO ever, phenomenal attack by KL and massive props to the Million Dollar Man, boy he has come a long way, wow what a race, good luck picking a knoxville winner this year
@@Dan-md3hr it was only like that bc of all the thunderstorms through the week.. Got up to a foot of rain at times... Cudos to the guys for even getting it to were it wasn't rained out. I can see how you feel that way tho.. Larson even said how much he liked i55 in his post race speech....
@@Dan-md3hr Did you even watch the race.? 15 lead changes and a win by less than 2 tenths of a second and you're complaining about a few wee bumps. Maybe NASCAR could be your thing?
Great 2nd for Logan Schuchart, making us PA race fans proud. But here we go again with California drivers dominating the top 5. The talent from California is insane.
@@midnight-2021no it doesn't. Socal is an absolute blast. I loved it when I was stationed there in the Navy. Yes, I went to Mexico. Night and day different.
@industrialpalletworx3548 much of southern California has 50% to close to 100% of their towns, cities etc that are from largely from Mexico or a Central American country. Look it up, for example over 96% of Coachella is Hispanic with a majority of them Mexican.
@midnight-2021 and? There's nothing wrong with hardworking people of a different nationality. Your comment implies that there is something wrong with that and certainly has a racist overtone to it. Parts of Mexico are a dump and there are parts that are beautiful and very nice. With residents who work hard to provide for their families. San Diego is a melting pot, LA is a melting pot. I was all over Socal and yes parts of it were trash, but you have that anywhere. Trash is trash it doesn't matter the nationality or color. There's plenty of trailer park trash out there just the same as any others. I love Socal! As a native Pennsylvanian I would go there again in a heart beat
Where is the little soy boy from last night's video, that kept saying this was a disgrace of a track and they should be embarrassed?? I told him last night that racers are a different breed of people and they love a challenge. One of the very best to ever do it, just said proved me right. I bet he doesn't comment tonight 😂😂
@@nickk4613 that's on him, not the track. You have to race the track, before you race your competitor. How many other people got bounced into the wall and ruined their night? Only 1 car in 55 laps? Knoxville is known for their clay, you willing to bet more than 1 car will get absolutely destroyed next week?
Love him or hate him. Kyle Larson is the best thing that has happened to American motorsports that I’ve seen in my life. I grew up grandpa taking me to devils bowl every year watching kinser Sammy Stevie smith dollansky and no matter what I will love the outlaws but like I said love or hate him. Kyle has brought so many people to the dirt track. Good for Corey day as well! He’s up next
I can't believe LS didn't come down and block that slider in 3 on that last lap. He caught him, then gave it away. He really had a rough night on Friday.
The track prep crew needs a huge thank you from everybody, that was a awesome improvement from last night! People Kyle Larson is a true legend for this generation appreciate what he is doing behind a sprint car, he has unbelievable coordination and ability behind that Paul Silva machine! Congratulations to him and the team! Logan gave it his all wow that was fun to watch nothing to be ashamed about awesome 2nd place! Corey Day what a comeback from last night I hope you become a regular on the woo tour! Does anybody else know who runs Rider engines please I am curious? Thanks cant wait for Knoxville!
